Former WWE superstar Albert El Patron was dragged off a TV set by security after appearing to snap during an interview.
The 48-year-old wrestler, best known to WWE fans as Albert Del Rio, was on TV Azteca's morning show Venga La Alegria to promote this weekend's TV tapings in Mexico City.
He was on the programme when Vikingo, the father of his opponent El Hijo del Vikingo, appeared and confronted him about the bout.
Things took a chaotic turn, as El Patron attacked him and shoved him to the ground, with a woman shouting for security as the former world champion put his hands on a member of staff.
He was seen pushing a man who appeared to be a presenter, while security dragged the wrestler away amid plenty of shouting.
TV Azteca and the presenters have claimed the incident was real, according to local media, although it appears to have been a stunt to promote this weekend's show.
El Patron will defend the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo Del Vikingo this weekend, when he's expected to drop the title.
WWE recently announced it had purchased the AAA Lucha Libre promotion, and the controversial star isn't expected to be part of their plans.
Vikingo is set to face Raw star Chad Gable at WWE and AAA's Worlds Collide event on June 7, and an advert ran for the match on Raw this week promoting it as a AAA Mega Championship bout with Vikingo defending, seemingly spoiling this weekend's AAA shows.
Announcing the AAA acquisition in April over WrestleMania weekend, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque said: 'AAA has a rich cultural heritage with some of the most passionate fans in the world and it's an honor to work with the Peña family to embark on this journey.
'By bringing together WWE's global capabilities and AAA's amazing tradition, we look forward to an exciting future filled with new opportunities.'
And AAA General Manager Dorian Roldán Peña added: 'AAA has been a family-operated promotion for over three decades and our trust could not be better placed than with one of the biggest sports entertainment businesses in the world.'
The company, which was founded in 1992 by Antonio Peña, has seen the likes of WWE Hall of Famers Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, and current Raw star Penta, pass through their doors. More Trending
As Alberto Del Rio, El Patron spent four years on the main roster between 2010 and 2014, before being let go 'due to unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee'.
In 2020, El Patron was arrested and later faced charges of aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault towards his then-girlfriend.

The charges were dropped due to a missing witness in December 2021, and the wrestler was cleared.

Passengers cheer while ‘drunk' mum and daughter Tiktok stars forced off plane

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Tiktok influencers were chucked off a UK flight to Jamaica after they swore at staff and had to be 'strapped down to their seats'. The mum and daughter, who ran the account @angel777987, were filmed causing chaos on the aircraft which took off from Manchester on May 28. After a two hour delay, the pair began drinking and quickly began shouting and swearing at staff – with the content creator daughter demanding to get off mid air. Fellow passenger Mandy, who captured the footage on @balloonsbykandykrush, said the pair were asked to calm down throughout the flight. But the daughter refused to sit in her seat in row 22, and staff were forced to strap her down. Mandy told MailOnline: 'The airline made her sit back down again and the captain announced that due to reckless behaviour there will be a delay in Jamaica as she will be arrested. 'They then put Angel to the back of the rows, strapped her in the seat. They cuffed her and then the famous TikTok woman, Angel, I believe, got arrested.' The flight landed in Jamaica six hours later than the original time after the crew was forced to make an emergency landing in Canada due to the mum and daughter's behaviour. They were arrested once the plane landed, with footage showing passengers cheering as the pair are lead away from their seats by police. The mum begins shouting in the face of one of the officers while Angel can be seen smiling and telling passengers 'bye'. More Trending Angel's Tiktok account has since been closed. Before the argument broke out, a video uploaded to the account shows Angel drinking with her mum at the airport. The pair can be seen posing with their drinks, with Angel captioning the clip: 'In Manny airport me and mum are on our way to paradise guess where?' Metro has contacted TUI for comment. The moment Abi shuts Carl down in dramatic Coronation Street spoiler video

Carl and Abi first bumped into each other – quite literally – in the supermarket carpark, and the vibe between them was instant. Things became more complicated when they discovered that they were actually connected, with Carl's brother being Abi's husband, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell). Though they have tried to keep their distance, it is clear there is still a spark between them. In this new video, we see the moment Abi attempts to push Carl away by saying that she wouldn't ever be interested in him. Carl admits that he can't get Abi out of his head and knows it's terrible to fancy his brother's partner, but he seemingly cannot make those feelings go away. Abi tells Carl to back off, but he seems adamant whatever they've got going on isn't going to end just yet. But is Carl right? What will happen next between him and Abi? More Trending 'She's been given this whole life with Kevin, the kids are secure, she's got a child now who's safe and she's all sorted. Her life is calm and loving, and that is something she's craved for', star Sally Carman said previously. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? There's like an animal inside her and she's absolutely fighting this with everything she's got.' 'I'm reading it [the scripts] thinking poor Kevin but I'm also thinking poor Abi because she's really fighting it, telling him to go away and leave her alone but he's just pursuing her relentlessly,' Sally teased. Robin Thicke, 48, marries model fiancée, 30, after seven-year engagement

Robin Thicke and April Geary have tied the knot after a seven-year engagement. The 48-year-old singer first popped the question to the model, 30, in 2018, before getting down on one knee again just days before their nuptials. Blurred Lines hitmaker Thicke shares three children with Geary: Mia Love, five, Lola Alain, four, and Luca Patrick, two. Their ceremony was every inch as lavish as you'd expect, as the lovebirds said 'I do' in a romantic celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Geary shared some videos on Instagram, showing herself in a long white lace gown with a veil for the occasion, while Thicke wore a classic tuxedo. A guest also posted a video showing Thicke walking down the aisle to Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, with youngest Luca sweetly serving as 'ring security'. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The newlyweds also made sure to include a tribute to Thicke's late father, who died in 2016 at the age of 69. A seat on the front row was left empty for Alan Thicke, as Geary's video showed the chair with 'In Loving Memory Of Alan Thicke' printed on the back of it. The game show host and comedian collapsed while playing ice hockey with his son, Carter, where he was wheeled out on a stretcher and pronounced dead later that day, the cause cited as type-A aortic dissection. Thicke was close with his father, writing on Instagram earlier this year for his birthday that he 'misses [him] every day'. His wedding to Geary comes shortly after he asked for her hand in marriage again while in Cannes. She posted on Instagram: 'Robin surprised me during our trip to Cannes by proposing to me again with a new ring that one of my best friends @nikkiwhatnikkiwho @establishedjewelry made. I'm so obsessed with it, thank you!!!' 'This trip was such a dream. I love you so much @robinthicke Also a huge thank you to @alilasky for clearing out the whole area and making sure there wasn't a single person getting in the way', her caption continued. The pair first began dating in 2014, several months after the pop star separated from his wife of 10 years, Paula Patton, with whom he shares son Julian Fuego, 14. At the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, they made their first public appearance together, two months after Thicke and Patton's marriage was officially dissolved. Speaking about his new relationship, Thicke revealed in 2021 that they were going to therapy, having found it useful to get an outsider's perspective on matters. He said during an interview with the Black Girls Texting podcast: 'Therapy is not for everybody all the time, but it definitely opens barriers for us, even just to go once or twice. 'If you're struggling in your relationship, one visit, one conversation with a third party can change things.' He added: 'Couples therapy has been great for me and April, and it's been great for me and Paula in co-parenting. More Trending 'We've had a few sessions and it's really helped for us, so I am a total believer in therapy.' Then, in 2024, Thicke spoke to People about their wedding plans, saying getting hitched was a 'priority'. 'My relationship with April continues to grow beautifully as we've matured into three-time parents together,' he added. 'She's really the most amazing woman a man could ask for.' Got a story?
