Ashley Cain made his name as a tattooed and muscled bad boy on screen, but after the devastating loss of his eight-month-old baby daughter Azaylia in 2021, he's since dedicated his life to raising money for a foundation made in her name.
He's hoping that Celebrity Masterchef will be a way to show off the family man he's now become.
A source told The Sun: "Ashley is keen to show fans another side of him. This is an unexpected move for him as his past shows have either been wild like Ex on The Beach, or really hardcore like Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
'Now he can show what he is capable of in the kitchen and introduce himself to a new audience."
A Celebrity Masterchef spokesperson said: "We do not comment on line-up speculation and the cast will be announced in due course."
Azaylia, whom Ashley had with ex Safiyya Vorajee, died from a rare form of leukaemia, having been diagnosed just two months after she was born.
He's since taken on record-breaking feats of endurance including kayaking 1,000 miles in the Yukon, Canada, in just 10 days in order to raise money to support families whose children are battling the disease.
in the running to appear in this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
He will be joining RuPaul's Drag Race star Ginger Johnson, Love Island beauty Uma Jammeh and Blue singer Antony Costa.
Coronation Street's Katie McGlynn, Celebrity Big Brother's Chris Hughes and Michelle Heaton have also been included in the line-up.
My shocking journey inside Europe's most dangerous city where crazed hitman bragged of blowing off HEADS & brazen gang lords run shops with drug menus
The series will mark the debut of Grace Dent as the new host alongside John Torode
She is taking over from Gregg Wallace, who was removed from the series later year.
The new series of Celebrity Masterchef is expected to air in the coming months.

Noel Edmonds launches TV comeback with a little help from a very famous face

Noel Edmonds launches TV comeback with a little help from blobby Noel Edmonds will launch a TV comeback later this month - with a little help from his old pal Mr Blobby. ITV are screening Noel Edmond's Kiwi Adventure in the next few weeks. It will see Noel, 76, back on primetime TV. The series shows how after appearing on British TV for over 50 years Noel Edmonds left the country in 2018 and travelled 11,500 miles to build a brand-new life in New Zealand with his wife Liz. ‌ The series will show him trying to build New Zealand's first energy garden and a fledgling business. Two years ago, they bought land around Ngatimoti, a small rural town and built a hospitality business in the heart of the community, including a vineyard, coffee cart, general store and restaurant & pub, which is about to reopen to the public for its second full season. ‌ On a trailer released today, Noel says: "New Zealand is a great place to come to it's not the easiest place to set up a business. We're haemorrhaging money at the moment, what Liz and I wish to achieve is community." Mr Blobby then appears on screen and he adds with a laugh: "You travel halfway round the world and he turns up!" He also shows his pub is called 'The Bugger Inn' and features a Crinkley Bottom mug from his days hosting Noel's House Party on BBC. In March, rumours of the show leaked out and it draw comparisons with Jeremy Clarkson show Clarkson's Farm, which airs on Prime Video. But Clarkson's Farm is now making money and it remains to be seen if Noel can ensure his business makes a profit as he has to cope with unseasonal bad weather and "feelings of being an outsider". In 2018, Noel went on I'm A Celebrity and picked up a reported £600,000 fee and a feeling he could be one of the leaders of the camp for the rest of the series. But in one of the biggest shocks in reality TV history Noel Edmonds was the first contestant to leave the show that year. Rather than try to make more TV he then headed to New Zealand soon after to begin a new life. Noel started his broadcasting career hosting Top of the Pops in the early 70s and later went on to present nineties hit Noel's House Party with beloved Mr Blobby and Deal Or No Deal.

Plans to tackle mental health crisis 'not ambitious enough', charity boss tells Sky News

Government plans to strengthen mental health services are "not ambitious enough", a charity head has told Sky News. Dr Sarah Hughes, chief executive of mental health charity Mind, spoke to The UK Tonight with Sarah-Jane Mee after a report on mental health cases at A&E reaching crisis levels. Sky's health correspondent Ashish Joshi reported that waiting times for these cases have risen, and overnight beds in mental health units are down almost 3,700 in a decade. 8:26 Dr Hughes called the report "incredibly important insight into what's happening," before adding: "One of our wonderful campaigners waited 87 hours on a stretcher when she was incredibly distressed. "These are scenes are happening up and down the country, and I'm afraid to say that whilst I'm devastated to see them, I'm not surprised." She then said that while "there are all sorts of services" across the UK for mental health, they are "nowhere near the level that we need". "We are seeing thousands and thousands of people go into A&E every month for very serious mental health challenges, and this can be resolved quite easily by beefing up what's available in the community," Dr Hughes said. "By making sure that community mental health services are resourced so that people are caught far earlier, that we don't hit crisis, that they're able to get the support they need well before they get into trouble. "We know what works: We know that with proper investment that we could avoid this situation." The charity boss also said that while new initiatives from the government on services would be welcomed, "fundamentally, without mental health support, we're not enabling [people] to thrive". "In fact," she said, "we're putting them into incredibly vulnerable situations day in day out. They are carrying the risk here. "We know that mental health staff in A&Es are also really struggling. They want to do a good job, and they can't. They're not resourced to." Plans to tackle spike in cases 'not ambitious enough' New Freedom of Information data gathered by the Royal College of Nursing shows that over the last five years, waits of 12 hours or more for a mental health bed have increased by more than 380%. When asked about whether NHS and government plans will help tackle the sharp rise, Dr Hughes said: "We already know that they don't and they won't. "We are expecting a real-terms cut in terms of the funding around mental health going forward. We are not convinced or persuaded that we've got the share of spend that's right for mental health. "We're concerned that the plans for mental health are not ambitious enough. We're not really persuaded, I think, that the policies surrounding mental health either are going to help reform and so on. "All of these things that are going on demonstrate a lack of understanding." In response to Ashish Joshi's report, the Department for Health and Social Care told Sky News: "We know people with mental health issues are not always getting the support or care they deserve and incidents like this are unacceptable. "We are transforming mental health services - including investing £26m to support people in mental health crisis, hiring more staff, delivering more talking therapies, and getting waiting lists down through our Plan for Change."

Paul Hollywood admits friends won't bake for him after tearful cake incident

Paul Hollywood has recalled a baking horror story in which a friend became tearful after he judged one of their bakes. Appearing on Wednesday's (4 June) episode of The One Show, the Great British Bake Off judge told an anecdote about a companion who, after baking their own birthday cake, wanted his opinion. Hollywood revealed that he didn't hold back, offering up a similar level of criticism he might give a contestant on the Channel 4 show — but this was at the friend's insistence. "Do it like you do on Bake Off," Hollywood said the friend told him.
