NFL free agent Tracy Walker suspended 12 games for unknown reason
Walker was suspended 12 games by the NFL, according to multiple reports.
The reason for the suspension has not yet been publicly revealed.
Walker won't be able to play until Week 13 even if he signs with an NFL team.
He did not appear in a regular-season game in 2024.
Walker was on the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad at one point, though they eventually released him.
Walker, 30, was a third-round pick by the Detroit Lions in 2018 out of Louisiana-Lafayette.
He spent six seasons in the Motor City, tallying 398 combined tackles (16 for loss), four sacks, 23 passes defended and three interceptions in 79 games.
Walker's last full season came in 2023 with Detroit, when he played all 17 games and started in six. He totaled 59 tackles, three quarterback hits, two passes defended and one forced fumble over that span.
The NFL did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

According to TMZ, Wednesday morning's car accident involving Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn has been captured on camera. Report: ESPN will assume lease at NFLN's 75,000-square-foot L.A. studio
The "non-binding" agreement between the NFL and ESPN will eventually bind ESPN to a significant expense. Via Ryan Glasspiegel of ESPN will assume the lease for NFL Network's 75,000-square-foot studio near SoFi Stadium. The duration of the lease wasn't disclosed. Neither was the rent. It's hard not to wonder whether the lease included a term contemplating one rent level if the NFL is leasing the space from Rams owner Stan Kroenke, and a higher rent level if someone else assumes the role of lessee. Regardless, ESPN will be giving up more than equity as part of its deal to assumed the NFL's somewhat distressed media assets. And it's apparently part of the price to pay for ensuring that ESPN will continue to have a broadcast package indefinitely into the future.

NEW YORK (Reuters) -Paxos Trust reached a $48.5 million settlement to resolve New York charges it failed to conduct sufficient due diligence of its former partner Binance, and had systemic failures in its anti-money laundering program, the state's financial services regulator said on Thursday.
