CYRIEL DESSERS looks set to move on from Rangers this summer after two years in Glasgow.
The Ibrox club have been locked in negotiations with AEK Athens over a potential deal for the striker for a few days now, with the Light Blues looking to make a profit on their top goal-scorer from last season.

Dessers, 30, still has two years left on his Rangers contract after penning a four-year deal when he arrived from Cremonese in 2023.
Rangers spent around £4.5million to land the Nigerian striker from the Italian club and it's understood they are holding out for a fee of £5m before letting him leave Scotland during this transfer window.
Dessers has been a divisive figure at Ibrox despite netting 51 goals in 109 appearances for the club - finishing this year's campaign with a Premiership tally of 18.
New boss Russell Martin is planning to go in a different direction and is looking to cash in on the forward while he can.
The former Southampton and Swansea gaffer is already lining up replacements, with Matija Frigan and Dor Turgeman in the frame.
But as things stand Dessers is still very much a Rangers player.
The Greek capital outfit have stepped up their efforts to land him this week but no deal has been agreed between both clubs as of yet, according to reports from Greece.
Sportime journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos claims there is still work to be done before an agreement is reached but talks are progressing well.
It's said AEK remain 'optimistic' they will sign Dessers before the window slams shut.
We told you last month how Rangers were bracing themselves for bids for the frontman.
AEK haven't been the only club in for him, though, as several clubs were understood to be chasing him in January.
Dessers' agent even revealed he had offers from TEN different teams during the winter window, but he decided to stay at Ibrox.

I made a fool of myself – Lando Norris has ‘a lot of regret' after collision
George Russell delivered a brilliant performance to win from pole position to claim his first win of the season ahead of his Red Bull rival Max Verstappen. Italian teenager Kimi Antonelli finished third to land his first podium in Formula One. But the 10th round of the championship in Montreal will be remembered for Norris' friendly fire on Piastri which deals a major blow to the British driver's hopes of winning the world championship. That's P4 for Oscar and a DNF for Lando at the Canadian GP.#McLaren | #CanadianGP 🇨🇦 — McLaren (@McLarenF1) June 15, 2025 The papaya-on-papaya flashpoint arrived with three laps to go when Norris launched his McLaren underneath Piastri at the hairpin as they duelled for fourth. Piastri was able to slingshot his McLaren back alongside Norris as they attacked the concluding right-left chicane. Piastri had the benefit of holding the inside line under braking to move back ahead of Norris. However, the British driver enjoyed a better exit onto the start-finish straight and sensed an opportunity to squeeze past Piastri. But Norris misjudged the move and crashed into the back of his team-mate's car. Norris screeched to a halt with damage. 'Are you alright, dude,' said Norris' engineer Will Joseph on the radio. 'Yes, I am sorry,' replied Norris. 'It's all my bad. All my fault. Unlucky. Sorry. Stupid from me.' Lando apologises to Oscar after their late-race collision 👊#F1 #CanadianGP — Formula 1 (@F1) June 15, 2025 Piastri was able to continue and finished fourth – the race ending behind the safety car following the McLaren collision – to extend his championship lead from 10 points to 22. 'Rule number one is not to make contact with your team-mate, and that's what I did,' said Norris. 'McLaren is my family and I race for them every single weekend and try and do well for them on and off the track. So when I let them down like this and make a fool of myself like I did today, I have a lot of regret. I'm not proud of myself, I feel bad, so apologies to all of them. 'Of course, he (Oscar) is not going to be happy with what happened. I wouldn't be either if it was the other way around so I owe him an apology for such a risk. 'He raced me fairly until that point. So, you know, Oscar did nothing wrong here, just myself. Piastri and Norris come together in Canada! 😱 Here's the collision between the two McLarens 💥#F1 #CanadianGP — Formula 1 (@F1) June 15, 2025 'I've let down the team, and that's going to stay with me for a little while. We will go back to the factory, and I am sure that's not going to be a nice moment for me because of what happened today.' McLaren have long been prepared for a collision between their two drivers and Norris' swift move to accept blame was welcomed by Piastri. It will also go some way to diffuse any tension within the British team. 'Lando has apologised to me and that says a little bit,' said Piastri. 'Lando is a very good guy and it is in his character and personality to say what he thinks, even if that is detrimental to himself. 'It is good for the team going forward that we can have these conversations and race like this and have things not go the way we want and get through them. 'If we were too aggressive going through a corner and we clearly got it wrong than that is one thing, but it was an unfortunate incident on a straight and it will not change anything and that is how it should be because we are both fighting for the world championship.'

Man City ready to take huge loss on Jack Grealish with Napoli deciding between him and Man Utd exile Garnacho

The Italian champs laid down the law to Manchester rivals City and United over deals for their exiled wingers. However, City will be prepared to accept a fee of around £45m for Grealish, 29, who Pep Guardiola axed from his Club World Cup squad. SunSport understands Napoli would prefer to sign Grealish. But they know Garnacho would be a better investment — as he is nine years younger. Napoli would love to reunite Grealish with City legend Kevin De Bruyne, who signed a two-year deal on Thursday to end a trophy-laden ten years at the Etihad. Tottenham and Everton have been linked with a move, while a return to Villa could appeal. However, it is unlikely City would receive a £45m offer from a Premier League club — meaning a loan would be his only option to stay in England. Garnacho would prefer to stay in the Premier League but United's £70m price tag has put off suitors. Chelsea backed off after showing interest back in January. The Argentine winger was left out of Ruben Amorim's starting line-up for the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham and only went on as a late substitute. Boss Amorim then told Garnacho to find a new club this summer. 6 6 Meanwhile, Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to land United's goal-shy forward Rasmus Hojlund. Inter are interested in taking the 22-year-old to the San Siro on loan next season, with a view to a permanent deal in 2026. United would prefer the cash now as they look to give the manager extra funds to make changes. Former Atalanta forward Hojlund scored just four Prem goals last season — ten in all competitions — and looked short of confidence by the end. Yet his stock remains high in Italy and Inter are looking to take him back to Serie A — although they are reluctant to stump up United's £38m asking price. 6 TRANSFER NEWS LIVE - KEEP UP WITH ALL THE LATEST FROM A BUSY SUMMER WINDOW
