NAPOLI have £45million to spend on Jack Grealish or Alejandro Garnacho — but they will not take both.

United want £70m for Garnacho but are yet to receive an offer for the 20-year-old Argentina international.
However, City will be prepared to accept a fee of around £45m for Grealish, 29, who Pep Guardiola axed from his Club World Cup squad.
SunSport understands Napoli would prefer to sign Grealish. But they know Garnacho would be a better investment — as he is nine years younger.
Napoli would love to reunite Grealish with City legend Kevin De Bruyne, who signed a two-year deal on Thursday to end a trophy-laden ten years at the Etihad.

Grealish, who became England's first £100m player when he signed from Aston Villa in 2021, will be desperate to force his way into Thomas Tuchel's plans for next summer's World Cup.
Tottenham and Everton have been linked with a move, while a return to Villa could appeal.
However, it is unlikely City would receive a £45m offer from a Premier League club — meaning a loan would be his only option to stay in England.
Prem sides would also be unlikely to pay Grealish's £230,000-a-week wages in full.

Guardiola snubbed him in key games at the end of the season, including for the 1-0 FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace.
The City boss preferred to hand 19-year-old Claudio Echeverri his debut and leave Grealish on the bench as his side desperately chased a leveller in the closing stages at Wembley.
Jack Grealish has gone from eye-catching showman and heartthrob to miserable bench warmer - and I know who's to blame
It cost Grealish a place in Tuchel's squad for England's recent 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra and 3-1 friendly defeat to Senegal.
Garnacho would prefer to stay in the Premier League but United's £70m price tag has put off suitors.
Chelsea backed off after showing interest back in January.
The Argentine winger was left out of Ruben Amorim's starting line-up for the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham and only went on as a late substitute.
Boss Amorim then told Garnacho to find a new club this summer.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to land United's goal-shy forward Rasmus Hojlund.
Inter are interested in taking the 22-year-old to the San Siro on loan next season, with a view to a permanent deal in 2026.
United would prefer the cash now as they look to give the manager extra funds to make changes.
Former Atalanta forward Hojlund scored just four Prem goals last season — ten in all competitions — and looked short of confidence by the end.
Yet his stock remains high in Italy and Inter are looking to take him back to Serie A — although they are reluctant to stump up United's £38m asking price.

Gary Speed's generous act shows exactly the kind of man former Wales manager was
Gary Speed's generous act shows exactly the kind of man former Wales manager was The late Gary Speed carved out a career that demanded respect on and off the pitch, and one of the former Wales manager's players has shared an epitomising anecdote Ex-Sheffield United player Jamie Ward has opened up about playing under Gary Speed (Image: Under The Cosh ) Former Sheffield United forward Jamie Ward has shed light on what a commendable man the late former Wales manager and Premier League icon Gary Speed was. The footballing world was rocked in November 2011 when it was announced that former Newcastle United and Leeds United midfielder Speed had taken his own life at the age of 42. Speed had built a reputation as a caring and naturally talented midfielder on the pitch, and carried such traits over to management after hanging up his boots and taking over as head coach at his former club, Sheffield United, in 2010. Ward, who had only joined the Blades the year prior, was asked about playing under Speed, who would go on to take the Wales job in 2011. The 39-year-old shared a tidbit that embodied Speed, admitting that the manager offered to pay him an assist bonus out of his own pocket, as one was not present in Ward's contract. "He was a leader," Ward began, speaking on the Under The Cosh podcast. "But, when I joined the club, Speedo didn't play. He was still a player, but he was injured. He'd kind of transitioned onto the coaching staff. "So, at that point, we knew at some point he was going to be the first team manager. He was a natural leader, wasn't he? From all the clubs that he had captained, to being in the changing room. Article continues below "Actually, when he became the manager, he turned around to me, because I didn't have an assist bonus, and he said to me: 'I see you don't have an assist bonus. So, every time you set a goal up, I'm gonna give you £250 of my own money.' "That kind of tells you what kind of guy he was. Next game, we played Derby away. Put two on a plate for Ched Evans, misses them both. Speed was loved by many of the players he managed (Image: Getty Images ) "I was having a baby at the time, and I was thinking, 'That'd get me a f*****g pushchair if he scored them!' £500. I didn't take any of his money. "I didn't set any goals up! But going back to that, it shows you what kind of guy he was, to take it out of your own pocket and give it to someone else." Ward continued, recollecting some confusion around what he would call Speed when he arrived at Bramall Lane, in light of the late star having built up such distinction throughout his years in the Premier League. Article continues below "When I turned up, that was the one man that I looked at, and was like, 'Wow.' So starstruck," Ward added. "Because growing up, I'd seen all his career. "I didn't know what to call him. I said to him, 'What do I call you?' I actually turned around to him and said that. 'Is it Gary, Speedo, Speedy?' "I think he said, 'Just call me Speedo.' Because I didn't know, and I just wanted to make sure I was getting it right. When he got the manager's job, I asked him again!"

Former Man United star claims some players are 'intimidated' by the 'weight of the shirt' - after Scott McTominay and Antony thrived away from Old Trafford
Man United academy produced Angel Gomes has claimed players have struggled to cope with the 'weight of the shirt' at the Premier League giants, before moving on to thrive elsewhere. The England international joined the Red Devils at the age of six and made his debut at 16 in 2017, becoming the youngest player to represent the club since Duncan Edwards in 1953. Gomes ultimately made 10 appearances for Man United's senior team before opting to join Lille on a free transfer in 2020. The midfielder, who has agreed to join Marseille this summer, has thrived in Ligue 1 and earned four England caps last year under then interim manager Lee Carsley. Gomes is among the players to have impressed since leaving Man United in recent years, with several having starred across the continent after being criticised for their displays at Old Trafford. The 24-year-old, speaking to the BBC, suggested some players have underestimated the 'weight of the shirt'. Gomes claimed some players may have been 'intimidated' by playing for Man United and have struggled to live up to expectations of playing for the record 13-time Premier League champions as they seek to win the title again for the first time since 2012. 'I think some do,' Gomes said .'Players may have been intimidated or not really know about the weight, what it carries and what it takes. 'But ultimately, sometimes, it's down to environment, timing and having the right things in place to help you. 'Some players who have left and gone on to do better than when they were at United, there might be things in place at that certain club, at that moment in time, that helped them succeed. 'Sometimes it's not as black and white as they failed or they've not held their own there because of the weight of the shirt.' Gomes comments come after several maligned Man United players have left the club to enjoy success elsewhere this season. Scott McTominay, another Man United youth product, was named as Serie A's most valuable player this season. McTominay joined Napoli last summer in a 27.5m move, with the Scotland international contributing 12 goals and six assists from midfield to help Antonio Conte's side claim the title. Brazilian winger Antony has been derided for his performances at Man United since an £82million switch from Ajax, having only contributed 12 goals and five assists in 96 matches. The winger has been revitalised after joining Real Betis on loan in January, with the Brazilian having scored nine times and provided five assists. Antony's turnaround in form in La Liga has led to him earning a recall to the Brazilian national team. He admitted last month that he had fallen out of love with football at Man United. 'I wanted to do things, but they didn't seem to work out because I wasn't happy, I didn't feel that desire to play football, and I needed to find myself and be happy again because playing football was always something I loved,' Antony said. 'I went through difficult times [at Manchester United] when I no longer felt that pleasure. I even always told my brother, I told him that I couldn't take it anymore. '[My brother] told me to hold on a little longer, that things were going to change . It even made me emotional, because they were very hard days for me. 'Only I know what it was like to be there at home, not having the strength to even play with my son, going days without eating, staying locked in my room. Antony broke down in tears last month when explaining his struggles when at Man United 'So, for me it was very complicated, but thank God, with the help of my family and mainly with the help of God, I managed to get ahead and today I am very happy here.' Man United endured their worst Premier League campaign last season, with Ruben Amorim's side finishing 15th in the table. The Red Devils will not play in Europe next season after losing to Tottenham in last month's Europa League final, which saw them miss out on Champions League qualification.

Viktor Gyokeres gets huge £11m contract offer after Arsenal U-turn on transfer
Arsenal and Manchester United have both been heavily linked with Viktor Gyokeres this summer but Juventus have now emerged as a rival in the race for the Sporting Lisbon star Juventus are looking to steal in and swoop for Viktor Gyokeres with Arsenal putting a move for the Sporting Lisbon star on ice and are said to have offered the Swede a huge contract. Gyokeres, 27, is hot property after another stellar season for the Portuguese champions and has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League amid interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, though he now seems unlikely to reunite with Ruben Amorim, his former Sporting boss, at Old Trafford. Mirror Football revealed earlier this month that Gyokeres' preference would be a move to Arsenal, however, the Gunners are also pursuing Benjamin Sesko. And with reports in Portugal claiming Arsenal have now gone cold on a move due to Sporting's transfer demands, Juve have made their move. As outlined by Corriere dello Sport, the Italian giants want to muscle in on Gyokeres and have already indicated to the striker's representatives that they are willing to meet his £11million-a-year wage demands. It's claimed elsewhere that Juventus plan to make a formal offer worth in excess of £60m in the coming days in a bid to get a deal for the former Coventry City man over the line. Juventus' plot will come as a major blow to Arsenal, who remain keen on signing Gyokeres despite their reported 'frustrations' over the Sporting hierarchy's stance on a deal. It was reported earlier this year that the club and Gyokeres had a gentleman's agreement which would allow him to leave for around £60m rather than the full value of his release clause. Join the debate! Where do you think Gyokeres will be playing next season? Let us know here But that no longer appears to be the cause with Sporting angrily refuting such claims. Frederico Varandas, the club's president, has even accused Gyokeres' agent of 'playing games' as the saga begins to turn ugly. Whether or not that ultimately puts off his swathe of suitors remains to be seen but it is still thought that Gyokeres is highly likely to leave Portugal this summer. Manchester United, meanwhile, are poised to ramp up their interest in Hugo Ekitike after being told that Gyokeres would favour a move to their Premier League rivals. The Red Devils are said to have already made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt over the sought-after France Under-21 star, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool.
