Danny DeVito And Arnold Schwarzenegger Were Caught Gossiping About Colin Farrell's Outfit, And I'm Literally Obsessed
The latest season of Variety's Actors On Actors is officially underway, with some more A-list names pairing up for a candid chat about their careers and recent projects for our viewing entertainment.
However, this time around, one of the best celebrity interactions might have happened outside of the actual interviews, with Danny DeVito gatecrashing Arnold Schwarzenegger's conversation with his son Patrick Schwarzenegger ahead of his own chat with Colin Farrell.
For reference, Danny and Arnie have been close friends for decades, with the two famously playing twin brothers in the 1988 comedy Twins, and when Danny arrived at the studio to film his and Colin's Actors On Actors episode, he couldn't resist checking in on his old buddy — and luckily for us, it was all caught on camera.
In behind-the-scenes footage that was posted to Variety's social media platforms on Wednesday, it appears that Arnold and Patrick had just wrapped their own interview when Patrick spots Danny making a beeline for them, exclaiming: 'Danny DeVito! Wow!' while Arnie jokingly mutters: 'Oh, Jesus.'

In a seriously wholesome moment, Danny actually swerves Arnie to hug Patrick first while congratulating him on his recent success. Pulling him in, Danny tells his pal's son: 'Congratulations! You are slaying it, everything, really good.'
He then hugs Arnie and they call one another 'brother,' with Arnie instigating a group photo. He then asks Danny: 'What are you doing here?' to which Danny simply replies: 'Colin Farrell.'
'Are you doing one of these things? They're so much fun, we just had a great time, it was great,' Arnold replies.
But when Patrick says: 'I love Colin Farrell, he's so great,' things take a turn, with Danny telling the two men that he isn't happy with Colin's casual outfit for their episode. He says: 'Yeah. He's got a sweater on… He looks like a… He didn't wear a jacket, you know? I'm really pissed off at him.'

'You are?!' Arnold exclaims, and Danny shakes his head as he makes it clear that he is only playing.

Still, Arnold tries to make his pal feel better about the situation, telling him: 'It makes you look better. More official… You have to tell him: 'You know why I'm wearing a jacket? Because I'm unique…. A writer, director, producer, an actor. That's why I have to be dressed a little differently, OK?''
At some point during this exchange, Arnie and Danny lower their voices to a whisper, making what they are saying incomprehensible.
'Put that one on him,' Arnold concludes, with Danny adding: 'Give it to him! I already told him.'
'You have to,' Arnold agrees, and at this point, he and Danny link arms as Arnie asks producers: 'Where is he? Let's bother him right away, where's Colin?'
All three stars then walk off set to find Colin, and it appears that they were successful, with Patrick recently sharing a photo of himself, his dad, Danny, and Colin to his Instagram story. It's worth noting that Colin is the only one who isn't smiling in this pic, and that is presumably because Danny and Arnold had teamed up to roast him over his chunky knit sweater just moments before.
Needless to say, people are totally obsessed with Arnie and Danny's reunion, and many shared their response to Variety's video on a Reddit forum. One popular comment reads: 'This video ended too early. I'd watch another 2, 3... hours of Arnold and Danny chatting it up easily.'
'Omg this clip is so random and hilarious….' somebody else wrote. 'This grumpy old man energy made me chuckle.'
Another observed: 'This might be a weird take but there's something kind of relaxing about how older celebrities talk to one another.'
'Idk why but him saying 'slaying it' immediately cheered me up,' one more said of Danny, while another called the two: 'Incredibly endearing."

The Weeknd Might Not Be Retiring His Music Persona After All
The Weeknd has teased that Hurry Up Tomorrow— his sixth album and upcoming film of the same name— also marks the end of the artist fans have grown to love for over 15 years. However, that may not necessarily be the case. While promoting the film at CinemaCon 2025, Abel Tesfaye told EW that this moment feels like both a death and resurrection. 'It feels like it [the end of the Weeknd]. I mean, I've kind of toyed with the idea in the past with albums,' he noted. 'But it could also just be a rebirth. Who knows?' Back in January, the 35-year-old announced plans to retire his alter ego. 'It's a headspace I've gotta get into that I just don't have any more desire for,' he explained to Variety. 'You have a persona, but then you have the competition of it all. It becomes this rat race: more accolades, more success, more shows, more albums, more awards and more No. 1s. It never ends until you end it.' Hurry Up Tomorrow marks the conclusion in the trilogy that began with 2020's After Hours, which was followed by 2022's Dawn FM. The film follows a fictionalized version of himself, also named Abel, who gets taken on an insane ride by a seductive stranger, Anima (Jenna Ortega). Director Trey Edward Shults, shared with EW in February that he 'tried to make the movie in a way where, for his fans and people who want to approach it at that level, I hope it's very satisfying and you get a good meal out of it.' Shults confirmed that it was an 'absolute possibility' that the movie would be The Weeknd's last hurrah chapter, adding 'For people that aren't his fans and don't know anything about him or even care about the final capping of the Weeknd, I think you still have a great movie to go through.' The Weeknd considers the film to be 'really introspective and cathartic.' It hits theaters this Friday. The Weeknd's ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow' Earns $3.3 Million Box Office Debut
The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow feature film experienced the chart-topping success shared by the singer's album of the same name. According to Variety, the movie, which stars the singer as well as Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, earned $3.3 million in its opening against a $15 million budget. The debut landed Hurry Up Tomorrow at No. 6 at the box office. Directed by Trey Edward Shults, Hurry Up Tomorrow stars the Grammy-winning artist as a musician plagued by insomnia. In the film, he is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence. 'I tried to make the movie in a way where, for his fans and people who want to approach it at that level, I hope it's very satisfying and you get a good meal out of it,' explained Shults. The chart-topping singer also detailed his motivation behind the thrilling project. 'Failure is the best school,' relayed the 35-year-old to The New York Times. 'This film is emotionally cathartic. It brought the love back, the joy back into what I always loved about film.' In a conversation with HypeBeast, Ortega elaborated on the 'environment' created by Shults while filming. 'Working with Trey is so singular. I can't compare it to any other experience that I've had on set, and I've been doing this for over 12 years. I love challenges. I love trying new things. Trey created an environment where it felt like you were free to try whatever you wanted,' described the 22-year-old. 'Music is such an important part of my life and who I am as a person, so having music intertwined was exciting — getting to watch the companion process come together in real time. Being able to combine film and music — the combination of the score and a facial expression — has the power to ignite something in people. This is a perfect marriage of the two.' Diddy's Ex-Girlfriend Cries in Court Alleging 3-Day Sex Sessions With Male Escorts That Made Her ‘Feel Disgusting'
A woman who dated Sean 'Diddy' Combs from January 2021 to August 2024 broke down in tears on the witness stand at his criminal trial as she recounted enduring three-day sex sessions with male escorts that were allegedly arranged by Combs. Testifying under a pseudonym, 'Jane' said Combs pressured her into participating in these so-called 'hotel nights,' drug-fueled sexual performances that closely resemble the 'freak-offs' that Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura described. More from Variety Judge Scolds Diddy for 'Nodding Vigorously' to the Jury, Threatens to Remove Him From Courtroom Diddy Auditioned to Play James Brown in 'Get on Up,' Lost Part to Chadwick Boseman Donald Trump, Asked About Pardoning Diddy, Says 'I Would Certainly Look at the Facts' and That 'He Used to Really Like Me a Lot' Jane described one 'hotel night' that involved three rounds of sexual intercourse with one escort over the course of 18 hours. Immediately afterward, Combs allegedly left the hotel. Jane said she was 'so high' from ecstasy given to her by Combs and felt 'lonely.' Jane said 'hotel nights' became a weekly occasion during parts of her relationship with Combs. The longest 'hotel night' Jane remembers having lasted more than three days without sleep. She said the shortest of such encounters lasted 12 hours, and a typical 'hotel night' spanned 24 to 30 hours. Jane said she told Combs multiple times that she did not want to have sex with other men, and that he was 'dismissive' of her concerns. An audio recording from a hotel room in which Jane asked that an escort wear a condom was played in court. In the recording, Combs is heard brushing off Jane's request. Jane testified that on another occasion, Combs looked at her and said, 'You better not ask for a fucking condom' as an escort prepared to begin intercourse with her. Jane testified about one 'hotel night' that occurred on her birthday. She was eating at Nobu, having great one-on-one time with Combs, when he mentioned there would be 'entertainment' after dinner — a 'gulp moment' for Jane. They went to a hotel after the meal, where Combs gave Jane a necklace for her birthday. Then, an unfamiliar man entered the hotel suite. 'I just accepted it,' Jane said of the 'hotel nights.' The sexual routine became muscle memory for her. 'I've done so many of these, I just know how to tune out,' Jane said. 'I just put my thoughts away [and] tune into someone else. Somebody who can perform.' Through heavy cries, Jane described the alleged encounter as 'invasive.' 'I didn't want to do this on my birthday,' she said. After the escort finished, Combs and Jane moved to a different hotel suite, where Combs was 'sweet' and gave her another gift, alongside flowers, cake and balloons. She remembered another escort suddenly entering, and they had 'hours and hours' of sex. 'By the time he left, it was morning,' Jane said. She testified that Combs brought in a third escort immediately afterward. On one occasion, Jane testified, she performed a 'hotel night' without taking drugs. After having sex with two male escorts, she went to the bathroom and threw up. As a third escort entered the hotel room, she recalled Combs telling her, 'You'll feel better now that you've thrown up. Let's go.' In a text message from September 2023 that was read in court, Jane told Combs, 'I don't want to play this role in your life anymore … it's dark, sleazy and makes me feel disgusting.' Jane's testimony began on Thursday afternoon, when she told the jury that she met Combs while on a girls' trip in Miami in 2020. At the time, Combs was romantically involved with one of Jane's friends, and he invited them on a boat and to his house. She called him 'Ernie' and he called her 'Bert,' nicknames based on the 'Sesame Street' characters. Jane and Combs started a romantic relationship in January 2021, and Jane found him 'super charming,' 'passionate' and 'larger than life.' She told him that she had previously been in a relationship with one of his friends, and that she had a child with someone Combs disliked. A month later, Combs took Jane on a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands, when he allegedly gave her the drug ecstasy 10 times over the course of nine days. Over the next few months, they met up every other week and had lots of sex. She said Combs often gave her cash payments, sometimes up to $10,000, as a loving gesture. Things changed in May 2021, when Combs began opening up to Jane about his sexual fantasies. Early one morning, they had been up for 24 hours straight on ecstasy and MDMA, and they were having sex for nearly 15 hours while watching pornography. 'He really wanted me to fantasize or talk about other men,' Jane said. She recalled Combs saying, 'I can make this fantasy a reality,' and, within a couple of hours, he brought her to a hotel room that was being set up by assistants. Combs hired a male escort named Don to come to the hotel, and he had Jane dress up in lingerie and 'big stripper heels,' as she called them. Jane described being high on drugs as Combs instructed her to pour baby oil on Don and then perform oral sex on him. Things escalated, and soon enough Jane was undressing and having intercourse with Don. After he ejaculated, she had sex with Combs. Jane said this experience 'exhilarated' her because 'it was taboo.' 'I had a good time with my partner,' she said. But 'that night opened a Pandora's box in our relationship,' Jane said. 'It was a door I was unable to shut.' Soon, having sex with other men became 90% of her time spent with Combs, Jane said. These 'hotel nights' could involve multiple rounds of sex with male escorts and with Combs, and they could span up to 30 hours without sleep. Jane said she told Combs 'many times,' both in writing and verbally, that she did not want to have sex with other men, a concern that Combs allegedly brushed off. When Jane moved from the East Coast to Los Angeles in 2021, Combs paid her $10,000 rent. When she expressed hesitancy about his sexual preferences, Combs insinuated that they could break up and he would stop paying her rent, she testified. Thus, she said she felt 'obligated' to 'perform' for him. In the September 2023 text, Jane told Combs that she felt the 'hotel nights' were 'the only reason you have me around and pay for the house.' Earlier in the trial, Combs' longtime ex-girlfriend Ventura alleged that over the course of 11 years, Combs used violence and threats of blackmail to coerce her into 'freak-offs,' drug-fueled sex parties with male escorts that lasted days at a time. Combs is pleading not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. If convicted, he faces a possible life sentence in prison.
