Housefull 5 is Akshay's second major attempt at relying on franchises to steady his career. The first attempt, OMG 2, proved to be a rare hit for him, and it featured Akshay in an extended cameo. The first song from the film, 'Laal Pari,' became a big hit online. The song's music video has accumulated over 60 million views on YouTube, reinstating Yo Yo Honey Singh's stature as a hit-maker.
