There is no doubt that Shah Rukh Khan is truly the Romance King of Bollywood. When he opens his arms, there are millions who fall weak. His love saga continues to touch the hearts of fans even today. But who amongst his co-stars is it that the Pathaan star finds 'extremely attractive'? Well, it is none other than his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star Katrina Kaif.
What did Shah Rukh Khan say about Katrina Kaif?
We came across an old interview of Shah Rukh Khan where he could not stop praising Katrina Kaif. Talking to Bollywood Hungama's Faridoon, King Khan went on and on about the Bang Bang actress's beauty, and we don't blame him.
While speaking about her, SRK said, 'Katrina, on the other hand, stands for everything gentle. She is so beautiful, she is extremely attractive. I find her really one of the most beautiful people I have met in my entire life. And then she has such a gentle heart. She is always fickle-minded about things and not because she can't think straight, but she looks at every point of view. She assesses and figures out what others are feeling. I like the gentleness of Katrina.'
These two have showcased an electrifying chemistry in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and we bet fans can still watch it only to witness that again.
Shah Rukh Khan's work front
Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Atlee's Jawan, where he played a double role. After that, he made a brief cameo appearance in Salman Khan's Tiger 3. Now, he has one of the most exciting films in his kitty. The actor is currently shooting for King, where he will share the screen space with his daughter, Suhana Khan, for the first time. Abhishek Bachchan will also star in a pivotal role in the film.
As we have already reported, SRK is playing an assassin in the movie, who will also mentor Suhana Khan's character. On the other hand, Abhishek is playing the main antagonist. Bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment on a lavish budget, Shah Rukh Khan is overseeing every aspect of King to make it a grand spectacle for the fans.
Besides the already mentioned names, King features a stellar cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Saurabh Shukla, and others.

‘Ahaan Panday would fully deserve Rs 100 crore,' says ‘Gupt' director Rajiv Rai as he opens up on fees of stars, says actors should charge money based on their box office returns

The rising cost of entourage of stars and the exorbitant fees of actors has been a topic of discussion for a while now, especially because the industry has been suffering since Covid. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Now film-maker , known for making Kajol, starrer 'Gupt', 'Tridev', 'Mohra' has weighed in on the matter. Rai didn't mince words in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, where he took aim at the growing trend of exorbitant actor salaries in Bollywood, a system he believes is propped up by corporate producers chasing glamour instead of substance. He said, "Money has become too important here now. Nobody cares about the script." 'I would blame the producers because they are willing to pay. An actor can even quote Rs 1,000 crore. It's basic demand and supply. Since there's more money in the market now, everyone's chasing glamour over substance,' Rai remarked, pointing to a shift in industry priorities. He criticised major studios for putting blind faith in star power, often at the cost of strong storytelling. 'They think audiences will show up just because a certain actor is in the film. But glamour doesn't sell alone. They don't even bother to look closely at the script,' he added. He highlighted the disconnect between stardom and actual ticket sales and said, 'There might be lakhs of fans gathered outside a star's home, but these same people won't buy tickets to see their film. They're not loyal. They won't open their wallet unless the content connects.' According to Rai, the only fair way to determine an actor's worth is to tie it directly to performance at the box office. 'Here's how I calculate an actor's fee: whatever I pay them, they must recover for me on Day 1. If I want to be generous, I'll give them three days. If I've paid Rs 100 crore to an actor, then the film must make that back within three days of release. That's when they truly deserve the money.' Thus, he quipped that a newcomer would fully deserve Rs 100 crore, if he could bring that kind of return on opening. 'So, when someone comes to me and asks for ₹10 crore, I simply say: I'll give you my first day's collection,' he said.

Many big films are going to hit the theatres in August. The film that is being awaited the most is Hrithik Roshan's War 2. Its first part came in the year 2019, which proved to be a blockbuster. This time, the YRF spy universe has gone much wilder. In the film, Junior NTR will be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan, with whom there will be a tight competition. But, before its release, the record of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan was broken by Hrithik Roshan. How much fees has Hrithik Roshan charged? Recently, the fees of the 'War 2' star cast were revealed. Junior NTR, who played the villain in front of Hrithik Roshan, has won the race. According to Bollywood Hungama's report, Hrithik has got Rs 50 crores for the film, while the South actor has got Rs 70 crores. Kiara Advani is charging Rs 15 crores. How much is War 2's budget? The new report revealed that 'War 2' is the most expensive film in this universe. It has been made with a budget higher than the Tiger-Pathan films. The last film of the YRF Spy Universe was 'Tiger 3', which was made with a budget of 350 crores. But Hrithik Roshan has broken this big record. This film has been made for Rs 400 crores. However, the budget of the first part of this film was only around 170 crores. At the same time, the budget of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan' is said to be around 240 crores. 2025's biggest clash- War 2 vs Coolie The film, which is releasing on August 14, will clash with Coolie, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Which is Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's film and there is a lot of buzz about it. The film features stellar actors like Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan and Pooja Hegde. The trailer of 'War 2', which came out recently, has not received a very good response, due to its choppy VFX and the same old storyline.

Ahaan Panday deserves Rs 100 crore as his fees, says Gupt director Rajiv Rai: ‘An actor must recover his fees in first 3 days of the film's release'

The conversation around star fees has taken center stage in Bollywood yet again. As members of the industry raise concerns about ballooning actor salaries, filmmaker Rajiv Rai, best known for Kajol-starrer Gupt, has weighed in on the topic, placing the blame squarely on producers for encouraging this trend. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rai offered a sharp critique of how corporate production houses and producers have created a market where actors can command astronomical amounts without any direct accountability. 'I would blame the producers because they are willing to pay. An actor can even quote Rs 1,000 crore. It's basic demand and supply. Since there's more money in the market now, everyone's chasing glamour over substance,' Rai said. He added that major studios often bet on star power rather than content. 'They think audiences will show up just because a certain actor is in the film. But glamour doesn't sell alone. They don't even bother to look closely at the script.' Rajiv Rai illustrated his point with a striking analogy. He said, 'There might be lakhs of fans gathered outside a star's home, but these same people won't buy tickets to see their film. They're not loyal. They won't open their wallet unless the content connects.' The veteran filmmaker strongly believes that a star's salary should be directly tied to the film's box office performance. 'Here's how I calculate an actor's fee: whatever I pay them, they must recover for me on Day 1. If I want to be generous, I'll give them three days. If I've paid Rs 100 crore to an actor, then the film must make that back within three days of release. That's when they truly deserve the money.' 'So, when someone comes to me and asks for ₹10 crore, I simply say: I'll give you my first day's collection.' Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's film Saiyaara is enjoying a stellar box office run. It opened with Rs 21.5 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 26 crore on Day 2 and Rs 35.75 crore on Day 3, bringing the total India net collection to Rs 83 crore in its opening weekend. The film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide within just three days, and in ten days, Saiyaara had amassed Rs 250 crore in India alone.
