Brad Pitt 'cuts ties with two of his kids' after bitter divorce from Angelina
Brad Pitt is reportedly cut ties with two of the children he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. The 61-year-old Fight Club actor and Angelina, 50, tied the knot it 2014 after a whirlwind romance that started on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith back in 2005.
The pair, once considered a golden couple of Hollywood, parted ways in 2016, sparking a high-profile split that saw Angelina file for divorce in the same year. A series of bitter disputes over custody and business interests followed, some of which remain unresolved - despite them finalising their split this year.
The ex-couple's legal wrangles have included battles over their six children and the division of their shared assets, such as their Château Miraval winery located in France - dubbed the battle of rosé.
Brad and Angelina share a brood of six: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 16. However, Brad has a strained relationship with Pax, who once called him a 'world-class a**hole'.
After Pax was pictured stumbling out of the Chateau Marmont with pals last month, a source close to Brad claimed the actor was no longer concerned with "what Pax does or doesn't do".
"Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable," they added. He is seemingly ready to cut ties with one more child while holding out hope for the remaining children.
Shiloh, 19, legally changed her surname last year when she turned 18 to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, dropping the 'Pitt'. Meanwhile, at least three of the other four kids have informally dropped Brad's surname.
Many of the children seem to have a strained relationship with Brad as their other son, Maddox, was allegedly involved in a physical confrontation with the actor on a private jet in 2016.
When asked about his relationship with his dad, he told In Touch Weekly in 2019: "Whatever happens, happens."
The source went on to tell MailOnline that Brad blames Angelia for the fractured relationship with their kids, but another source claimed the Fight Club star "continues to play the victim". The Mirror have reached out to reps of Brad and Angelina for comment.
Brad recently made a very rare comment about the closure of his divorce proceedings. He said "I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
In a candid GQ interview, Brad touched upon the relentless media attention he's faced, remarking: "It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way."
When Brad and Angelina's divorce was finalised, her lawyer released a statement saying: "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.'
Lawyer James Simon added to the Associated Press: "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago.'

Piers Morgan releases statement about Jake Paul and ‘staged' career after boxer hires lawyer to fight ‘fix' claims
Paul's manager has warned against defamation in recent weeks 'SLUG IT OUT' Piers Morgan releases statement about Jake Paul and 'staged' career after boxer hires lawyer to fight 'fix' claims Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) PIERS MORGAN has clarified his comments that Jake Paul's boxing career has been "staged" following news that Paul is taking legal action to fight claims his fights are fixed. Paul, 28, has reportedly taken legal steps to defend his reputation after persistent claims that his fights are rigged. Spiro, who has represented the likes of Elon Musk, Jay-Z and Alec Baldwin, said in a statement: "I've been retained by Mr. Paul to pursue legal redress for the damages he has suffered. "If someone uses their public soapbox to harm him and the sport with lies, there will be consequences." Jake Paul has come under criticism for his boxing career to date and received a slew of claims of "rigged" and "fixed" fights following his unanimous decision win over former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in June. Among those critics was Piers Morgan, who himself used the phrase "boring staged bull***t" to describe Paul's boxing career. Now Morgan has taken to X to release a statement clarifying those comments. He wrote: "I posted a few weeks ago that Jake Paul's boxing career has been 'boring staged bullsh*t.' "What I meant is that his fights have been predominantly against older, past-their-prime opponents, which may be lucrative for both sides, and may have entertainment value. 4 Paul came under fire following his unanimous decision victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in June Credit: Getty "But don't reveal how he stacks up against currently ranked boxers and therefore are not a good look for the sport. "I did not intend to suggest that the outcome was predetermined and certainly didn't mean to suggest anything illegal. Former world champ fears for Jake Paul's health amid Anthony Joshua fight talks "But if reports are correct that Jake is now in negotiations to fight Anthony Joshua, that would obviously be a seriously credible bout against one of the best heavyweights in the world. "Jake is welcome to come on Uncensored to discuss this, and verbally slug it out with me, anytime." Paul's manager and co-founder of MVP promotions, Nakisa Bidarian, previously warned that comments labelling Paul's fight as rigged are defamatory and would be met with legal backlash. Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, he said: "When you definitively state that Jake is putting on staged or rigged fights, that's just defamation, and you're causing substantial damage to his business, to MVP's business, and something that's 100 per cent not true." Adding: "We're having to have conversations with our partners that are just unjustifiable. Our legal representation is looking at multiple individuals to go after."

Freddie Mercury's secret daughter breaks silence with confession ahead of tell-all book
The Queen frontman Freddie Mercury's secret daughter has opened up for the first time as a new book about him fathering her in the 1970s is set to be released in September Freddie Mercury's secret daughter has opened up about the Queen frontman for the first time as a biography about him fathering her is set to release next month. According to evidence gathered by the icon's most prolific biographer Lesley-Ann Jones, he had a child with a close pal's wife in the 1970s and the bombshell claims will be revealed in the new biography. The investigation by Lesley states that Freddie kept private journals and notebooks in which he recorded his life story and innermost thoughts, and documented his relationship with his daughter over a period of 14 years. It comes as the biography has already received backlash ahead of its release. The woman, who is known as B, has claimed that she was raised by another family but had always known that the performer was her father, revealing he visited her often before his untimely death in 1991. Reportedly only the Queen members, Freddie's family and his long term partner Mary Austin were aware of his secret love child. Before Love, Freddie is published next month, B has spoken about her late dad for the first time. She confessed to MailOnline: 'I didn't want to share my dad with the whole world. After his death, I had to learn to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations of him, and with the feeling that my Dad now belonged to everyone. 'I cried and mourned my Dad, while fans all around the world mourned Freddie. When you are 15 years old it's not easy." The book will feature excerpts from Freddie's private journals and notebooks that B personally handed to Lesley-Ann. According to B, this will be the first and only time that Freddie's true life story will have been told by his own flesh and blood. Lesley-Ann learned about the personal documents when B tracked her down and contacted her. The two women developed a friendship over several years, which culminated in B granting Lesley-Ann permission to share the contents of the journals, as well as her own memories of Freddie in the biography. The British author has revealed that being raised by her step-dad, B knew from toddler age that Freddie was her father. In her family home, the singer even had a room in their house, in order to spend as much quality time with her as possible. While the legend was on tour around the world with his band Queen or penning new tracks in the recording studio, Freddie made sure he would call B everyday. As well as the book, Channel 5 have also commissioned Freddie Mercury: A Secret Daughter, which will air as a 90-minute special and coincide with the book's release. The feature will explore the 'warm and loving relationship' the Bohemian Rhapsody singer had with his alleged secret daughter, as well as delve into his early childhood in Zanzibar and incredible life as a rock star. Freddie died at the age of 45 back in 1991, with his cause of death being from bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS.

Where Ma Larkin from the Darling Buds of May cast is now - iconic villain and film star
The original Ma Larkin from The Darling Buds of May is a seasoned actress who has starred in many hit shows and films - this is what she's up to now and where you'll definitely recognise her from The Darling Buds of May was a hit British comedy drama which aired in the early nineties and catapulted one of its stars, Catherine Zeta-Jones, to Hollywood fame. The series followed the life and adventures of the Larkins in rural 1950s Kent. The cosy family unit was made up of Ma and Pop Larkin and their six children - the eldest being the beautiful siren Mariette - played by Zeta-Jones. The series was remade, with The Larkins airing in 2021 along with a new cast headed by Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan as the loveable parents with a penchant for the good life. Here's where the original Ma Larkin, played by actress Pam Ferris is now. It comes after Sir Michael Palin says he is preparing for the end of his life in sad update. As Florence Daisy 'Ma' Larkin, Pam Ferris' character was bubbly, motherly and loved nothing more than feeding her children and extended family with her home cooked meals and baked treats. Her relationship with Pop, played by legendary actor David Jason, was extremely affectionate and very cheeky. Despite his never-ending flirtations with other women in the idyllic village where they lived, Ma remained unfazed and confident of his love for her. Their stunning eldest child Mariette ends up marrying the rather geeky tax inspector Cedric "Charley" Charlton, played by Philip Franks. Catherine, of course, went on to great success in America where she married actor Michael Douglas and starred in many blockbuster films and on stage in Chicago. Pam has spoken about their relationship since the Darling Buds and revealed it was somewhat damaged when she was held up before a huge event Catherine asked her to. "Many years ago, I was invited to the premiere of one of her films - I think it was Zorro - but my car got stuck in terrible traffic," she told MailOnline. "It was a royal premiere and you're not allowed to be late, so I had to miss it. I've effectively been sending apology messages for nearly 15 years." The German born Welsh star, who is now 77 made the role of Ma Larkin her own but she's played many other, starkly different, famous characters. Film fans will recognise her as the terrifying force of nature that was Miss Trunchbull in the screen adaptation of Road Dahl's Matilda. She also portrayed the equally unlikable and cruel Aunt Marge in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. She starred as Mrs Bevan in the Christmas films Nativity! And Nativity 2 and as Mrs Faulkner in Tolkien in 2019. On the small screen Pam took on the role of Peggy Snow in Where The Heart Is, which followed the lives of district nurses in Yorkshire. It also featured a young Sarah Lancashire, who would go on to achieve huge success on TV in Coronation Street and Happy Valley. Pam was nominated three times for Most Popular Actress at the National Television Awards for playing Peggy. One of Pam's most notable television characters was as Laura Thyme in Rosemary & Thyme. The detective series, which ran for three seasons from 2003 to 2006, followed two gardeners as they solved murders and mysteries and also starred Felicity Kendall as Rosemary Boxer. For four years, from 2012, Pam appeared in the long-running hit drama Call The Midwife, in which she played Sister Evangelina. Her character suffered two strokes and was written out of the series after Pam decided she could no longer commit to the commuting for the role. As well as small guest roles in series such as Casualty, The Bill and Midsomer Murders, the talented actress has appeared in plenty of period dramas. She starred in Middlemarch, Our Mutual Friend and Jane Eyre, among others. She has also had a successful career on stage with stand out performances in Cymbeline, Notes on Falling Leaves and The Entertainer. These days Pam enjoys a much quieter life at home in Elham, Kent, where she lives with her husband, fellow actor Roger Frost. The couple don't share children and she once told the Guardian she didn't regret choosing her career over a family. "I was obsessed with work in my youth," she said in 2012. "It's why I didn't get married until I was 38 and the reason I didn't have kids. Not having children isn't a sadness in my life, though. I know I wouldn't have been a half-bad mother, but that's what happened. There's no regretting it." Although Pam hasn't starred in anything new for a few years, she did pop up recently in one of TV's most loved shows, Gavin & Stacey. She first appeared as Smithy's narcoleptic mum Cath in 2009. Memorable moments from her two previous performances included accidentally flashing Nessa on a video call and rambling on about her medical condition. Along with Sheridan Smith, Pam made a cameo in the last ever episode of the show on Christmas Day 2024 during Smithy's wedding.
