CeeDee Lamb 2025 Fantasy Football Snapshot
Lamb lost momentum early as Prescott's injury and his own shoulder issue impacted his 2024 production.
Prescott's return plus George Pickens' arrival should open up the offense.
Lamb is poised for another WR1 finish in a pass-heavy Dallas attack, making him a first-round fantasy lock.

2024: Coming off a breakout year with 1,745 receiving yards and a dozen touchdowns plus another 113 yards and two scores as a runner, Lamb set the bar high for his 2024 campaign. Any hopes of an encore quickly went down the drain as the Cowboys' offense got off to a sluggish start and Lamb went six weeks without a 100-yard performance through the air. He finally erupted for 146 yards and two scores in Week 8, but Dak Prescott went down for the year with a hamstring issue the next week, sending Lamb's season packing. Lamb gutted things out through a shoulder injury until the final two weeks, which he mercifully took off.
What's changed: Lamb wasn't dreadful with Rush under center, but his 21.3 PPR average in Prescott starts last year speaks for itself. Assuming Prescott plays a full year, a rebound is all but certain. That is even with George Pickens joining the team via a trade with the Steelers. Pickens dominated targets in Pittsburgh but should still settle in as the WR2 in Dallas.
2025 Outlook: The Cowboys are set up to pass early and often in 2025. Prescott is the league's highest-paid quarterback and Lamb is the third-highest-paid wideout. Dallas traded for a real No. 2 receiver and spent next to nothing on their backfield during the offseason. It's a similar setup to 2023 when Lamb ranked second in the league in receiving yards and Prescott hit third on the charts in passing yards. Lamb is a no-brainer first-round pick in fantasy drafts.

Volunteers needed for 2026 FIFA World Cup in North Texas

If you've ever dreamed of being part of the World Cup, now's your chance. Applications to volunteer for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North Texas are now open. World Cup Organizing Committee Co-Chairs Dan Hunt and Nina Vaca are excited for what the 2026 games will bring. Nine matches will be played in North Texas with more than 700,000 tickets available. "The economic impact that the 2026 World Cup will bring to the North Texas region, not just to Dallas, $1.5 to $2.1 billion," Vaca said. To make it all happen, FIFA needs more than 6,000 volunteers for the events in the Dallas area. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, speak English, and commit to a minimum of eight shifts that will range from 6 to 8 hours each. "I was a volunteer in 1994," Hunt said. "I was actually a ball kid. For the Spain game against, Korea and so again, South Korea, and it was an unbelievable experience to get to do that." If you're interested in volunteering, you can apply on the FIFA website. You'll also need to attend an in-person tryout or group recruitment event, pass a background check and complete training. Volunteer selections are expected to be made between December and March. Locally, the World Cup is also estimated to create thousands of jobs. "This is an incredible opportunity to grow our businesses and to scale and leave that economic footprint all over the North Texas region," Vaca said.

Luka Doncic Breaks His Silence On New Lakers Contract

Luka Doncic Breaks His Silence On New Lakers Contract originally appeared on The Spun. The Los Angeles Lakers wasted no time signing Luka Doncic to an extension this offseason. On Saturday, the first day the franchise was able to offer him one, the Lakers signed the Slovenian-born superstar to a three-year, $165 million contract per ESPN's Shams Charania — with the third year being a player option. The way Los Angeles structured the deal it will make Luka eligible to sign for a massive four years, $323 million in the summer of 2027 after missing out on the supermax in Dallas. Or, by declining the option, he could sign for an even bigger five-year contract worth around $418 million at age 29. The past few months have been busy ones for Doncic who has seemingly transformed his body heading in the 2025-26 season as he looks to retake his spot as a top 2-3 player in the NBA. Taking to social media earlier today, the five-time All-Star announced the signing of his new deal to remain with the Purple & Gold. "I just signed my extension with the Lakers," Luka shared. "Excited to keep working to bring championships to LA and make Laker Nation proud. Grateful to the Lakers, my teammates and all the fans who've shown so much love since day one. This is just the beginning. 💜💛" Doncic now becomes the centerpiece of the Lakers' future with LeBron James likely heading for retirement before the decade closes out — and the organization couldn't have found a better player to hand the keys to. Since arriving in the NBA at 19, Doncic has averaged less than 27 points per game just once — and that was in his Rookie of the Year campaign with the Mavs. Additionally in his seven professional seasons stateside, he's already racked up more first-team All-NBAs than Steph Curry, Chris Paul and Kawhi Leonard — all of whom he's much younger than and all of whom will one day reside in the Naismith Hall of Fame. In his recent interview with Men's Health, Doncic shouted out Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant as inspirations for getting into tip-top shape. "Just visually, I would say my whole body looks better," Luka said. "... Every summer I try my best to work on different things. Obviously, I'm very competitive. This summer was just a little bit different, you know. It kind of motivated me to be even better." "This year, with my team, I think we did a huge step," he concluded. "But this is just the start, you know. I need to keep going. Can't stop."Luka Doncic Breaks His Silence On New Lakers Contract first appeared on The Spun on Aug 2, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Aug 2, 2025, where it first appeared.

Ashton Jeanty fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions

Rotoworld Staff, Ashton Jeanty 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: An under-the-radar high school talent due to his father's military career, Jeanty (5'8/211) was lightly recruited out of his Frisco, Texas high school after only one year of starting duties, but quickly blew up in Boise. He was already a nationwide sensation by his true sophomore season in 2023, but it was his 2024 that sent his draft stock stratospheric. With the caveat that he played in three more games than the legendary Barry Sanders, Jeanty's 2,601 yards rushing were second all time only to Sanders' 2,628 in 1988. What's changed: Obviously a breakaway threat any time he touches the ball, Jeanty boasts otherworldly contact balance. He is ridiculously agile for his thick frame. An underrated pass catcher, Jeanty averaged 3.4 yards per route run in 2023 before the Broncos realized they didn't need to bother targeting him in 2024. Just hand him the ball. 2025 Outlook: The Raiders don't appear to be overthinking this one, though Raheem Mostert could handle some third downs to begin the season. If that helps Jeanty best make the transition from the Mountain West to the big leagues, so be it. A special prospect with a stranglehold on early downs, Jeanty is worthy of his lofty summer ADP.
