Stephen A Smith says he would divorce Serena Williams for Super Bowl halftime show cameo
Making an appearance for that song sparked some debate on social media, especially considering Lamar's song is a diss track toward the rapper Drake, whom Williams dated in 2011.
Many believed it was no coincidence Williams' time to shine was during this track, and ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith thinks the same.
It's why, during his Monday edition of "First Take," he told his colleagues he would divorce her if he was her husband.
"If I'm married and my wife is going to join trolling her ex, go back to his a--, 'cause clearly you don't belong with me," Smith said on the show, which led to some laughter from his colleagues.
"What you worried about him for and you're with me? Bye. Bye."
Williams is married to Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, and they share two daughters together.
Smith's co-host Ryan Clark responded, "If you were with Serena Williams, you're going to be a kept man anyways. Don't start that."
Lamar and Drake have quite the beef with each other, though only one of them saw Grammys won for their diss tracks.
"Not Like Us" won Song of the Year, which also won Record of the Year, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Music Video.
It's also worth noting Lamar was joined by SZA during the performance as well, and she confirmed dating Drake after he rapped about it on the track, "Mr. Right Now," with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin.
Whether it's trolling or not, Williams and Lamar do share a connection with their childhood, having grown up in Compton, California.
Legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson was also seen during the performance as "Uncle Sam," as Lamar switched songs throughout.

During a recent segment on ESPN, Clark spoke about the Browns' recent decision to name Flacco the starter for the 2025 NFL season. Clark started gushing about how Flacco has managed to continuously get work in the NFL despite having semi-retired several years ago. He then declared that Flacco's return to the NFL is "the greatest resurrection since Jesus Christ," which as you might imagine didn't sit well with some. "I'm gonna tell you what, man," Clark said. "Joe Flacco must have the faith of a mustard seed, right? Because this is the greatest resurrection since Jesus the Christ. Like, at some point, Joe Flacco was thinking about getting into TV, right? Joe Flacco didn't have a job. And then, now, you not only coming back and starting for the Cleveland Browns late in the 2023 season, but they came back around to you and you're now the day one starter for a franchise that just two years ago was in the playoffs." The reaction has been pretty nasty Fans were already pretty exhausted of Clark's hyperbolic analysis and were even less amused when he decided to compare an NFL quarterback to the legendary Christian figure. Little League World Series player calls out Shohei Ohtani as 'not really humble' after encounter
Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani might be a global baseball icon, but not in the eyes of one Little League World Series player. Australia's Monica Arcuri revealed an interaction with Ohtani that led her to believe he is "not really humble." Arcuri was featured on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" KidsCast during the New York Mets-Seattle Mariners game Sunday in Williamsport, Pa., the host city of the Little League World Series. During her interview, the Brisbane native described attending a Los Angeles Angels game in Anaheim in 2023. During that game, Ohtani — then still a member of the Angels — homered off Toronto Blue Jays starter Yusei Kikuchi. "He hit a home run into an area where the fans couldn't go, and then this guy got the ball and gave it to my brother," Arcuri explained on the broadcast. "So, the next day we went to the VIP box at the front, and I asked for [Ohtani's] signature, but all he gave me was a side-eye and not a nice glance. "So, after that, I've never liked him ever since. He's not really humble. Not my style." That season was Ohtani's last in an Angels uniform before the Dodgers swooped in with a then-record 10-year, $700 million contract, though $680 million of it was deferred. Ohtani's first season with the Dodgers ended with an NL MVP Award and a World Series ring after defeating the New York Yankees in five games in the "Fall Classic." However, Ohtani has faced off-the-field controversies since last season. First, his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, was imprisoned for stealing nearly $17 million from the Japanese star to pay off gambling debts. Ohtani publicly addressed the scandal in late March before the start of his inaugural Dodgers season, saying he had never placed a sports bet and that Mizuhara's story about paying off his $4.5 million gambling debt was fabricated. More recently, Ohtani and his agent, Nez Balelo, made headlines after being sued by a Hawaii real estate investor and broker for allegedly causing their firing from a $240 million luxury housing development. Meanwhile, it appears Arcuri enjoyed her time in Williamsport despite Australia being eliminated from the international bracket after a 12-0 loss to Canada on Sunday. Australia opened with a 7-2 loss to Panama before bouncing back with a 5-3 win over Europe-Africa on Saturday to avoid early elimination. Arucir became the 24th girl to play in the Little League Baseball World Series, and the 11th to record a hit.
