Farah Khan's cook Dilip says ‘Vijay Mallya toh chor hai' as he flirts with Payal Gaming in latest vlog, asks her how much she earns

Indian Express10 hours ago

Farah Khan and her cook, Dilip, paid a visit to the S8UL Gamers' collective in Navi Mumbai, and shot a new vlog at their facility. Immediately upon arriving, they were greeted by a garage full of fancy cars and bikes. Dilip hopped onto a Kawasaki, and admired a yellow Porsche. Before entering the house, Farah remarked, 'These gamers are making more money than us.' The S8UL Gamers collective comprises of several professional streamers, who operate from under one roof. The co-founder of the collective, Goldy, was also a part of the vlog. But the attention went to Payal Gaming, who runs India's biggest gaming channel with 4.3 million subscribers.
Dilip kept flirting with her in an extended scripted gag, and insisted that he wants to become a gamer as well. 'How much money do you make?' he asked her. 'Do you want to be a gamer?' she replied, offering to teach him. Dilip asked several of her colleagues about their earnings as well, while Farah was shocked to see an entire walk-in closet filled with sneakers. 'I'm earning brownie points from my son by doing this. How much money are you people making…' she said, as she held her head in her hands. 'Bhai hum kya hi kama rahe hain, yeh bachche dekho kitna kama ke daal rahe hain sab,' she told Dilip.

The task involved both Dilip and Farah forming teams and cooking noodles in 10 minutes. During the task, Dilip was given a challenge. He was told that if he fails the challenge, he'd have to add extra chili in his noodles. 'What is the full form of BGMI?' one of the gamers asked Dilip, who misheard and replied, 'Vijay Mallya toh chor hai.' The answer seemed unscripted, because everyone was shocked. Farah walked out of the kitchen, once again with her head in her hands, and laughed by herself in living room. 'What did you think I said?' the gamer asked Dilip.
The gamers' fans flooded the comments section, and remarked at the unlikely collaboration. 'Loved the crossover. Never imagined someone from Bollywood will recognize gaming and will reach our own s8ul house. The more you dig the more will love it, hope you will gain more interest in gaming,' one of the gamers wrote. Farah's YouTube channel has taken off, and currently has over 1.6 million subscribers. Meanwhile, Vijay Mallya recently gave an interview for the first time in nearly a decade, as he appeared on Raj Shamani's podcast to clear his name. He has been accused of financial fraud, and is currently a fugitive in the UK.

Swifties blamed for Travis Kelce interview leak as Bussin' With The Boys crew relives ‘hacked' moment

The Bussin' With The Boys podcast team faced a major setback when their unreleased interview with Travis Kelce was leaked online (Getty Images) In a surprising and chaotic turn of events, the Bussin' With The Boys podcast crew recently opened up about a behind-the-scenes disaster involving their unreleased interview with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce . According to the show's editors, a leak of the unlisted YouTube interview caused panic within the team—and they believe Taylor Swift's passionate fanbase may have been behind it. Travis Kelce interview clips mysteriously leak before release, sending podcast team into panic On a recent episode of Back of the Bus, a spinoff of Bussin' With The Boys, crew member Mitch recalled the shocking moment when footage from their yet-to-be-published Travis Kelce interview surfaced online. 'He was so big that we kind of got hacked. We weren't recording with Travis at the time. Clips started hitting Twitter, 10-minute clips,' Mitch recounted. 'You look at me, and you were like, 'Did you post the episode?' I'm like no.' Mitch had uploaded the interview as an unlisted video on YouTube—a common practice for internal sharing before a video officially goes live. However, even unlisted videos can be viewed if someone obtains the direct URL. Somehow, Swifties—Taylor Swift's notoriously tech-savvy and devoted fandom—appeared to have found it. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like One of the Most Successful Investors of All Time, Warren Buffett, Recommends: 5 Books for Turning... When Swift started dating Kelce nearly two years ago, their attention naturally extended to every detail of his public appearances and media engagements. In this case, their deep-dive internet sleuthing may have inadvertently compromised a podcast team's entire rollout strategy. Despite the chaos, the Bussin' team had nothing but praise for Kelce and his team, even giving a shout out to the New Heights podcast, which Kelce co-hosts with his brother Jason. They specifically acknowledged their respect for New Heights' social media producer, Jake Chatzky—known online as Jets Jake—for how he handles their digital content. 'Aaru', ICCW's new music video, strings together Tamil Nadu's river heritage

These days, rivers in the State are remembered more for floods than for the life they once nurtured. 'Aaru-Rivers of Tamil Nadu', a new music video, seeks to gently remind us of the State's water wealth — by simply calling each river by name, and stringing them together in a soulful tribute. Launched by the International Centre for Clean Water (ICCW), a not-for-profit initiative of IIT-Madras, the seven-minute song sung by father-daughter duos aims at creating awareness on rivers, and seeks collaboration with various stakeholders on rejuvenation of rivers. Conceived, composed, and produced by Kanniks Kannikeswaran, IIT-Madras Alumnus who pioneered the Indian American choral movement, the song's lyrics have woven in names of at least 125 rivers in the State. 'This is the third video produced by ICCW since 2021. The idea is to encourage youngsters to learn the names of the rivers, rekindle reverence, and induce people to pay attention to waterways,' said E. Nandakumar, Chief Executive Officer, ICCW. While the first music video was on the rivers of India, the second one, released in 2022, depicted the significance of monsoons and rainwater harvesting. Music and arts were chosen as the media to convey powerful messages about rivers and the need for conservation. This time, the song, which is available on ICCW's YouTube channel, featured father-daughter duos — veteran singers Unnikrishnan and Uttara; Srinivas and Sharanya. 'In the first video, we had chosen mother-son duos to symbolise the generational transition in celebrating our rivers and passing on the responsibility to restore them,' Mr. Nandakumar said. Noting that the idea for the project took root during an IIT-M reunion in 2020, Mr. Kannikeswaran based in Cincinnati, USA, said: 'It was humbling to know that there are more than 125 rivers in the State during my research. Each of them powerful, but some lost their functionality over the years. I have tuned it in the Tamil folk style, blending in flavours of ragas like Senchurutti. I used alliterations and rhyming words such as 'Pongum Porunai' and 'Kongu Bhavani' to make the lyrics flow with the tune.' There are plans to bring out more such videos on rivers in other States, including Gujarat, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and integrate the region's folk and classical raga traditions, he added. ICCW looks to collaborate with other educational institutions for the project.

YouTube pilots vernacular thumbnails to complement dubbing tools

YouTube is introducing a new feature that can help creators expand their global reach by tailoring their thumbnails for international audiences, according to a Business Insider report. According to a company spokesperson, the platform will soon allow select creators to upload different thumbnails for each dubbed version of their videos, enhancing the ability to localise content based on the viewer's language. The feature is expected to roll out in the coming days and will initially be available only to creators who already have access to YouTube's multi-language audio dubbing tools. YouTube has been gradually expanding these tools, which use AI to enable creators to dub their videos into other languages. The platform began testing this technology with a limited group of creators as early as 2023. 'We're always testing more ways for creators to reach new audiences,' the spokesperson told Business Insider. 'In this case, a handful of creators are able to localise their thumbnails for videos with multiple language audio tracks.' This new capability builds on YouTube's broader strategy to break language barriers and maximise content visibility worldwide. The platform has seen growing interest in dubbing among major content creators, including global YouTube star MrBeast , who has publicly embraced AI-powered dubbing as a tool to reach millions of non-English speaking viewers. By allowing localised thumbnails, YouTube not only ensures that video titles and audio match a viewer's language preferences, but also makes the visual experience more culturally relevant—potentially increasing click-through rates and engagement in diverse regions. Live Events This feature reflects YouTube's ongoing investment in global creator tools, further positioning the platform as a leader in cross-language content distribution.
