As the month of Ramadan approaches, we used to be worried due to the rise in prices and their crazy jumps.
I hope this year will be different after the Prime Minister announced prices control and a social protection package.
I hope that the social package and the plans to control the prices of products will be announced. Traders exploit the month of Ramadan, the month of goodness, feeding, worship, eating, prayers, and gathering around soap operas, to raise the prices.
We know that every increase in the salaries is accompanied by madness in prices and exploitation by traders, so the citizen does not feel it. Therefore, I hope that there will be monitoring by consumer protection authority and by the anti-monopoly agency. Measures must be taken against those who try to exploit people during the holy month and we should boycott greedy merchants so the protection programs achieve their expected results, especially since the Ministry of Supply launched 'Welcome Ramadan' markets with 30% discounts, offering all the goods and products that the citizen needs.
Despite the good news, the question still raised about the details of the expected social protection package, and whether it will include all segments of society, including employees, pensioners, and beneficiaries of the 'Solidarity and Dignity' and 'Decent Life' programs.
Well, social solidarity in Egypt is clear during the blessed month, when Mawaid el-Rahman, or charity iftars, Ramadan bags, and boxes are spread, along with convoys of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work that are launched again in North Sinai under the slogan 'One Hand.' . These are comprehensive convoys that provide Ramadan boxes, health care, and financial support, and they tour all governorates of Egypt.
These efforts show the spirit of love and compassion experienced by the Egyptians, and demonstrate the state of faith that drives young people to go out to the streets before sunset to break the fast of the people. This is a case that allows goodness to reach every low-income home.
Oh God, make it a month of goodness, blessing, joy and happiness for all Egyptians.

The nations on Trump's travel ban list The White House announced that Trump has issued an executive order banning the entry of citizens from a number of countries into the United States of America, citing national security concerns. A statement from the White House read: 'The executive order imposes full restrictions on the entry of citizens from 12 countries proven to have deficiencies in their screening and vetting procedures, which poses a significant risk to the United States.' It clarified that 'the countries covered by this full ban are Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.' 7 high-risk nations The statement added that 'the executive order also imposes partial restrictions on the entry of citizens from 7 other countries deemed high-risk, namely: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.' The White House clarified that 'the decision includes exceptions for lawful permanent residents of the United States, current visa holders, certain special visa categories, and individuals whose entry is deemed necessary to serve U.S. national interests.' Combating terrorism The statement affirmed that these restrictions aim to 'enhance international cooperation in security, enforce U.S. immigration laws, and achieve foreign policy objectives, including combating terrorism.' The statement quoted Trump as saying: 'We will reinstate what is known as the travel ban, which some have called the 'Trump travel ban,' and keep radical Islamist terrorists out of our country, a decision upheld by the Supreme Court.'

The Ministry of Interior has launched a comprehensive security plan aimed at safeguarding public safety and ensuring that citizens can enjoy the holiday without disruptions. Special focus has been placed on areas that traditionally attract large crowds during Eid, such as public parks, cinemas, and shopping centers. From the early hours of the morning, a significant security presence has been deployed across main streets and public squares. Police officers have been stationed in large numbers to maintain order, ease traffic flow, and prevent any disturbances to the public peace. In anticipation of increased footfall along the Nile banks and riverboats, the Water Police have stepped up patrols and inspections to enforce safety protocols.
