MCVITIES has rolled out a new flavour of Jaffa Cakes and shoppers are divided.
Over the years, the brand has launched plenty of alternatives to the classic orange, but this one has been accused of taking the biscuit.

Jaffa Cakes have a brand new flavour and it's caused a stir
Jaffa Cakes have jumped on the Hot Honey trend and have unveiled the first-ever 'swicy' flavour.
In case you are yet to become acquainted with the latest culinary slang, the term swicy is used to describe foods that are sweet and spicy.
The new flavour combines the sweetness of honey with a chilli kick, which is sandwiched between the signature crackly dark chocolate and the famous sponge cake.
The controversial hot cakes are exclusively on sale at Asda stores nationwide for £1.50 for a box of 10.
They will be rolled out to other retailers from the end of July.
Over on Facebook, the Hot Honey snacks have caused a stir, and some fans have bees in their bonnets.
"I love Hot Honey and I love Jaffa Cakes but I think this will be a miss," one wrote.
"Not a chance mate," added another.
One person raised a good question: "They will do everything but not a white chocolate Jaffa Cake."
But not everyone was against the latest addition.

"I am definitely intrigued," a Facebook user wrote.
"Oh might have to try these," agreed a second, while another echoed: "That sounds like an acquired taste."
On Dansway Gifts and Bargain UK's Facebook post, followers tagged friends to share the news.
Some added heart-eye emojis to the comment section.

"As the only cake in the biscuit aisle, it makes sense that our newest flavour brings an unexpected twist.
"We're super excited to introduce Hot Honey Flavour to the Jaffa Cakes family - tapping into the viral 'swicy' trend with a perfectly balanced sweet-meets-heat flavour.'
Last year, the brand unveiled another unusual flavour based on retro childhood sweets.
The Cola Bottle flavour was the first ever non-fruit flavour since the first Jaffa Cake was made in 1927.
It had a similar response from snackers, who either loved or hated them.
McVities has also rolled out raspberry and cherry flavours - which have both gone down well with customers.

This includes gardens and parks jam-packed with free drop-in activities and playful experiences. Some venues will have mini stages, others will have meadow mazes. Families will also be able to build dens, experiment in craft corners, learn circus skills, visit pirate lairs, experience sensory spaces and burrow in cost reading nooks. Summer of Play activities are included within admission and there's no need to book. Tom Freshwater, head of visitor programming at The National Trust has picked out some of the top events on this summer. Summer of Play at Seaton Delaval Hall, Northumberland Seaton Delaval may have been one of the architect Sir John Vanbrugh's smallest country houses, but it was home to the larger-than-life Delaval family. Tom explained: "Known as the 'Gay Delavals' due to their high spirited and flamboyant lifestyle, an invitation to one of their parties was the hottest ticket in town. "In an age notorious for extremes of behaviour, they stood apart as the most notorious of all Georgian partygoers and pranksters. "Like a party from the Delavals' Georgian heyday, expect the unexpected with pop up Summer of Play activities throughout the summer." The pretty pink UK castle that is loved by Disney and Britney Spears There will be drop-in circus activities, experts with mini circus performances and demonstrations and a recycled junk orchestra. In addition, children can head to the Delaval Playdium play area with multi-level stages, pulleys and leavers which allow 'productions' to be brought to life. Tom added: "See who's competitive in hobby horse races, or delve into a chest full of sports kit and ball games, plus table tennis and badminton and traditional games like tower block building or four-in-a-row." Also, every Friday in the Community Kitchen Garden, there will be the chance to harvest and get crafty with nature - or curl up in the sheltered story corner, with Young Gardeners. 5 Activities include crafting, outdoor games and book nooks Credit: ©National Trust Images/James Dobson Summer of Play at Chirk Castle, Wrexham Steeped in 700 years of history and nestled in the atmospheric Welsh Marches, Chirk Castle is a magnificent 13th Century Medieval fortress that later became a family home for over 400 years. Tom shared: "With far-reaching views over the Cheshire and Shropshire plains, 480 acres of working farmland and 4.5 acres of award-winning gardens, Chirk's estate makes for a stunning backdrop to the perfect summer adventure. "And of course, no visit would be complete without an exploration of the Medieval castle itself, with stunning gardens, preserved dungeons and state rooms fit for a king." "Each zone is packed with interactive activities designed to spark imagination and encourage active play," Tom added. "From den building and designing your own obstacle course to relaxing in the mindfulness zone and engaging in imaginative play, there's hands-on fun for everyone. "Finish your adventure by climbing the straw bale lookout posts to admire your creative efforts from above." Summer of Play at Hanbury Hall, Worcesterhsire Hanbury Hall is a country retreat in the heart of Worcestershire. Coleen and Wayne Rooney have had some rollercoaster times in their marriage - but as they prepare to celebrate their 12-year anniversary, a source claims they've 'never been stronger' Wayne and Coleen Rooney were photographed looking more down in the dumps than loved-up on a pre-anniversary dinner date last week – but a source tells new they couldn't be happier. They found themselves at the centre of another storm recently when a video published on X led to speculation about Wayne returning to his wayward ways. The heavily-edited clip was filmed in the Devon apartment Wayne lived in during his short-lived tenure as Plymouth Argyle manager, and showed a tracksuit-clad man, believed to be Wayne, letting a woman inside the front door. However, Wayne wasn't prepared to ignore the accusations, and released a statement on Instagram defending himself against the rumours and denying any wrongdoing. Over the years, even Coleen, who shares sons Kai, 15, Klay, 12, Kit, nine, and Cass, seven, with Wayne, has admitted there were some who doubted she would – or should – get over her public heartache. In their bombshell Rooney documentary that aired in 2022, she tackled the topic of their lowest moments head on, and confessed she'd learnt to block out other people's opinions.
