Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel responded, though her remarks were largely inaudible due to the commotion.
Utkarsh Verma (SP, Khiri) sought clarity on fertiliser supply in Uttar Pradesh, directing his query to Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.
Harsimrat Kaur Badal (SAD, Bathinda) also flagged the shortage of DAP fertiliser in Punjab.
Other members, including Harish Balyogi (TDP, Amalapuram), Janardan Singh Sigriwal, and Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu (TDP, Narsaraopet), attempted to engage with the Minister of Ayush, Pratap Rao Ganpat Rao Jadav, on health-related concerns.
Despite these efforts, the escalating pandemonium forced Speaker Birla to adjourn the House till noon, marking yet another day of disrupted proceedings in the Monsoon Session.

The BJP in West Bengal will organise Durga Puja at the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) in Kolkata this year. The 'khunti puja' (worship of the pole that marks the beginning of pandal construction) was held on Sunday, with several BJP leaders in attendance, including party state president Samik Bhattacharya, cultural cell chief Rudranil Ghosh, and former MP Rupa Ganguly. While the event is officially being organised by the 'West Bengal Cultural Manch,' its close ties to the BJP are evident, with key party figures leading the arrangements. Speaking at the khunti puja, state president Samik Bhattacharya stressed the cultural and apolitical nature of the festival and said, 'Maa Durga is inseparable from the Hindu Bengali diaspora.' He highlighted Bengal's historical tradition of communal harmony during festivals, citing examples of Muslims participating in Durga Puja. He mentioned about a 300-year-old puja in Basirhat where a Muslim family, which has been living there for generations actively participates in the puja. 'In Bengal, Muharram processions and Durga Puja immersion must take place in the same lane at the same time peacefully,' he said, invoking a message of unity. On being selected as the new president of the West Bengal BJP, Bhattacharya had made similar statements regarding Durga Puja and Muharram BJP's revival of Durga Puja at EZCC is seen as strategic outreach to tap into Bengali voters' cultural and religious sentiments ahead of 2026 polls, strategy that was last employed before the 2021 Assembly elections. This year's Puja marks a revival of a tradition that was initiated by the BJP in 2020, when the party had organised a grand puja at the EZCC, which was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The puja was held again in 2021, but enthusiasm reportedly waned after the BJP's electoral defeat. According to tradition, a puja, once started, must be performed for at least three consecutive years. Following this custom, the Durga Puja at EZCC was held for three consecutive years, concluding in 2022. A day after heavy rain brought parts of the Capital to a standstill, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday accused the BJP-led government of destroying documents to shield former chief secretary Naresh Kumar in a 'drain desilting scam'. The Delhi BJP, however, dismissed the allegations as a 'political stunt.' Citing an RTI reply, Delhi AAP chief Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed Chief Secretary Dharmendra's office denied receiving his complaint on the matter, despite copies being available with the reporters and on social media. 'This is a direct criminal offence…When I wrote this letter last year, I held a press conference and posted it on social media. The BJP government is now saying they have no record of it. This is an attempt to hide corruption, shield Naresh Kumar, and destroy evidence,' Bharadwaj alleged at a press conference. The AAP leader criticised the BJP-led government for failing to resolve the Capital's waterlogging woes. 'Seven people died in one incident when a wall collapsed during rain yesterday. In another heart-wrenching case, a two-and-a-half-year-old drowned in an open sewer outside his house on Raksha Bandhan,' he said. The AAP leader said that the Delhi High Court had ordered a third-party independent audit of desilting works, but claimed the audit had not been carried out despite repeated reminders to the Chief Secretary and letters to the Union Home Ministry. 'When I filed an RTI on July 21 seeking file notings, correspondence, and directions related to my June 13, 2024 complaint, the Chief Secretary's office replied on July 29 that no such letter had been received. This is proof that documents are being destroyed,' Bharadwaj said. In response, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said that the Kejriwal government had a poor record on desilting. 'Before accusing us, Saurabh Bharadwaj should clarify whether it's not true that between 2015 and 2018, due to the Kejriwal government's failure to carry out desilting, an NGO had to approach the Delhi High Court demanding an audit,' Sachdeva said. He alleged that 'scams' in the name of desilting were committed annually between 2015 and 2024 during AAP rule, and 'under the protection' of the AAP government, involving officials from the Public Works Department, Flood Control Department, and Delhi Jal Board, along with local MLAs. Sachdeva also questioned Bharadwaj's claim about the missing letter. 'The reality of the Kejriwal government was that they would tweet about writing letters to the central government or the LG, but conveniently 'forget' to send them through official channels. Possibly, Bharadwaj did the same — because government offices do not lose letters,' he said.

By-elections: YSRCP alleges police bias
A YSRCP delegation has submitted a memorandum to the Director General of Police (DGP), seeking urgent measures against 'rampant police misconduct' during the ZPTC by-elections in Pulivendula and Ontimitta in Kadapa district. The team, led by MLCs Lella Appi Reddy and Ramesh Yadav, along with Vijayawada Mayor R. Bhagyalakshmi, former Minister M. Nagarjuna, and former MLA M. Vishnu, alleged that the police had been functioning as proxies for the ruling coalition. The delegation alleged that the officers had been filing false cases, making illegal detentions, and protecting TDP activists accused of attacking YSRCP cadre The leaders said that their attempts to secure an appointment with the DGP failed, forcing them to hand over the memorandum to the staff at the Mangalagiri office. 'Law and order has collapsed. Police in 'yellow shirts' are working to secure TDP victories rather than uphold the Constitution,' charged Mr. Appi Reddy. He claimed that polling centre shifts and voter intimidation were being orchestrated to tilt the polls. Mr. Ramesh Yadav accused the force of shedding its neutrality, saying the police insignia now symbolised allegiance to the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP. Mr. Nagarjuna alleged that the TDP regime had diluted the constitutional spirit, recalling incidents of violence since the nomination stage. He accused the police of ignoring complaints, mocking victims, and filing counter cases under the SC/ST Act against YSRCP leaders. He held Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu responsible for 'State-sponsored anarchy.'
