However, you don't need to dip into your savings and splurge on a Dyson fan.
Shark has slashed the price on its FlexBreeze TableMate cordless fan which has been dubbed "better than Dyson".
The compact fan has been reduced from £149.99 to just £99.
It is a perfect transportable size, measuring 40cm tall and 35cm wide.
It weighs only 3kg and has a handy carry handle that makes it easy to take with you anywhere you need.
In addition, the fan is equipped for unpredictable British weather and humid conditions as it is waterproof and UV resistant.
Despite its humble size, it packs a lot of power with five different speeds in addition to oscillation.
According to Shark, the fan's breeze can be felt from 20 meters away.
At the lowest speed setting, you can keep your bedroom cool overnight, as the FlexBreeze can run continuously for up to 24 hours.
It also won't disturb your sleep as customers pointed out that it makes no noise and praised how "silent" it is.

Shoppers are raving about the Shark product on Amazon giving it a 4.5 star rating.
One person wrote: "Bought just in time for the latest hot spell. Kept me cool in the home office, kept me cool in the evening, and kept me cool overnight.
"The fan has a battery charger, this means it will run for up to 24 hrs on single fan speed. Overnight a godsend, ran from 10pm till 6:45am on fan 2 and moving 45 degrees. Quiet as a mouse."
Another added: "This fan is ingenious. How much money we all have wasted looking for a fan that was supposed to be silent. This pretty much concludes that quest. This fan is all I ever wanted."

Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS...
Keep out of the heat if you can.
