Natalie Merchant just announced she's hitting the road this November for a 15-concert tour that will send her and longtime collaborator Erik Della Penna (who penned the music and lyrics for Broadway's Tony-nominated 'Dead Outlaw') all over the Northeast.
While out and about, the duo is slated to make a trio of stops in New York.

First, they'll headline at Tarrytown's Tarrytown Music Hall on Sunday, Nov. 2. After that, the twosome hit Hudson's Hudson Hall on Saturday, Nov. 15 and NYC's New York Society for Ethical Culture Concert Hall on Monday, Nov. 24.
These intimate acoustic shows will be made up of 'songs and stories' according to Merchant's Instagram tour announcement post.
'Erik and I love playing our duo shows,' Merchant said. 'We can be so stealth and spontaneous when it's just the two of us. We read each other so well after all these years.'
While we're not sure what songs Merchant will take to the stage at these intimate, acoustic concerts, Set List FM reports that she performed 18 songs at a July 2024 gig in Nashville including her delicious '90s hit 'Kind & Generous.'

'Dead Outlaw' on Broadway
Nominated for seven Tonys — including Best New Musical, Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Andrew Durand, Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Julia Knitel and Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Jeb Brown — 'Dead Outlaw' tells the unbelievable true story of Elmer McCurdy, a train robber whose body, after being shot dead in a shootout, was preserved and became a sideshow attraction as a carnival exhibit, a wax museum display, and a movie prop for decades.
In the New York Post's review of the show, critic Johnny Oleksinski spotlit the show's score saying the music 'stitches together rockabilly, campfire songs, lounge music and folk into an eerie Americana soundscape that's punchy and unsettling.'

Abdulla BelJafla, creative director of Gafla, who shared his insight with Vogue Arabia, said the main diamond in the center is an oval-cut, which maximizes its brilliance. 'A perfectly proportioned oval (with a 1.30–1.50 length-to-width ratio) offers symmetry on the hand,' he told the magazine. 'While many ovals exhibit the subtle 'bow-tie effect,' this piece appears to have exceptional light dispersion, minimizing it entirely.' How many estimated carats are there? Rodríguez's oval-cut diamond ring is approximately 37 carats in total, according to jewelry experts. The center oval stone weighs about 35 carats, Tobias Kormind, the managing director of 77 Diamonds in London, told People. He believes the center stone is flanked by oval stones on the sides, about one carat each, set in platinum. 'If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality in the D-F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, its value could easily exceed around $2 million," Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, told People. Meanwhile, Kormind estimates that Rodríguez is carrying around a $5 million ring on her finger. The King of the Atlantis nearly lost his life in the water. Jason Momoa appeared on the 'Smartless' podcast Monday and recounted the time he almost drowned off the coast of Maui 18 years ago. 'I was doing this paddle, we went in at Jaws,' the 'Aquaman' star, 46, said, referring to the island's biggest surf break. 'We paddled like 13 miles down the coast.
