Natalie Merchant just announced she's hitting the road this November for a 15-concert tour that will send her and longtime collaborator Erik Della Penna (who penned the music and lyrics for Broadway's Tony-nominated 'Dead Outlaw') all over the Northeast.
While out and about, the duo is slated to make a trio of stops in New York.

First, they'll headline at Tarrytown's Tarrytown Music Hall on Sunday, Nov. 2. After that, the twosome hit Hudson's Hudson Hall on Saturday, Nov. 15 and NYC's New York Society for Ethical Culture Concert Hall on Monday, Nov. 24.
These intimate acoustic shows will be made up of 'songs and stories' according to Merchant's Instagram tour announcement post.
'Erik and I love playing our duo shows,' Merchant said. 'We can be so stealth and spontaneous when it's just the two of us. We read each other so well after all these years.'
While we're not sure what songs Merchant will take to the stage at these intimate, acoustic concerts, Set List FM reports that she performed 18 songs at a July 2024 gig in Nashville including her delicious '90s hit 'Kind & Generous.'

'Dead Outlaw' on Broadway
Nominated for seven Tonys — including Best New Musical, Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Andrew Durand, Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Julia Knitel and Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Jeb Brown — 'Dead Outlaw' tells the unbelievable true story of Elmer McCurdy, a train robber whose body, after being shot dead in a shootout, was preserved and became a sideshow attraction as a carnival exhibit, a wax museum display, and a movie prop for decades.
In the New York Post's review of the show, critic Johnny Oleksinski spotlit the show's score saying the music 'stitches together rockabilly, campfire songs, lounge music and folk into an eerie Americana soundscape that's punchy and unsettling.'
If you'd like to see 'Dead Outlaw' at the Longacre Theatre, you can find tickets here.

Natalie Merchant new music
In 2023, Merchant released her first album in six years.
'Keep Your Courage,' comprised of ten tracks, demonstrates the singer's evolution as a vocalist. Her voice is deeper, more assured, more contemplative and more mature than ever before.
If you're a fan of Merchant's earlier work, this record may seem like a departure but after multiple listens, you'll hear the playful tone and wistful lyrics within the music that make Merchant such a singular artist.

For our money, we suggest starting with the spellbinding 'Sister Tilly' which surprised us with a tempo change halfway through — it's almost like a singer-songwriter dropping a beat.
We're also quite fond of the quietly bombastic 'Hunting The Wren' as well.
You can hear the 54-minute record in its entirety here.

Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull's Priceless Exchange Before Chicago Sky Game
Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull's Priceless Exchange Before Chicago Sky Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Indiana Fever are on their way to Chicago to play against the Chicago Sky on Saturday at the United Center. Advertisement On Friday evening, the Fever's official Instagram account shared a reel showing players walking to the team's coach bus while answering a fun question: which teammate would they want to sit next to for the three-hour road trip from Indianapolis to Chicago? The video ended with answers from guards Lexie Hull and Caitlin Clark, who walked to the bus together. "Obviously..." Clark said with a smile while putting her arm around Hull's shoulder. Hull laughed and smiled, then said "awwww" in response. "Easy answer," the Iowa alum added. "We're obviously about to go sit right next to each other." Hull commented on the reel minutes after it was posted, "bestie!!! @caitlinclark22," and Clark responded twenty minutes later with "@lexiehulll 🩷we actually love each other everyone." Though they often throw shade at each other on social media, such as the 23-year-old making fun of Hull's favorite weird food combo, it's all out of love. The duo have been close friends since Clark joined the Fever in 2024, and have a great chemistry and friendship on and off the court. Meghan Markle Shares Photos from Disneyland with Prince Harry and Kids Archie, 6, and Lili, 4: ‘Pure Joy'
Princess Lilibet celebrated her fourth birthday at Disneyland Meghan Markle shared an Instagram video of Prince Harry along with Lili and son Archie smiling during their family trip 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!' she captioned the postMeghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating their daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor's fourth birthday at the happiest place on earth! On Friday, June 6, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a sweet video of herself, the Duke of Sussex, 40, and Prince Archie, 6, exploring Disneyland. 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!,' Meghan captioned the Instagram post, set to Peggy Lee's 'It's a Good Day.' The video began with Lili wearing a sparkly blue baseball cap and a colorful sleeveless dress while holding her mom's hand as she led the way through the California theme park. Next was dad Harry following closely behind as the princess met a Disney Princess, before the family of four was photographed going up a log ride at Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Meghan looked back, flashing a huge smile while wearing Minnie Mouse ears as they prepared for the drop that faced them on the water ride. Other stops on their outing included a ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant and a trip to see Star Wars troopers. Meghan posted photos of their food, which included corn dogs and pickle slices, but, of course, no birthday can be complete without a birthday cake! As the video continued, there was a photo of a Little Mermaid-themed cake with Princess Ariel and her undersea friend Sebastian. Additional highlights included a carousel ride with the siblings sitting together, roller coasters and walks throughout the park, which is currently celebrating its 70th anniversary. Meghan added hearts over Lilibet and Archie's faces, as the mother of two has been adamant about keeping their faces out of the public eye for privacy reasons. "Our kids are young,' Meghan told CBS News Sunday Morning in August 2024. 'They're 3 and 5. They're amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them. And so, as we can see what's happening in the online space, we know that there's a lot of work to be done there, and we're just happy to be able to be a part of change for good."
