Trainer Joseph Murphy said the unlikely win was the culmination of his life's work and there were emotional scenes in the winner's enclosure afterwards.
But the superstar filly will need a new jockey for her intended run in the Irish Oaks after Carroll was hit with a big ban.
He has been whacked with a two-week suspension and fined £5,800 for using his whip twice above the limit of six in the mile race.

A source told the publication: "One of the most terrifying things has been the suggestion that her lies could get their kids could be taken away - it's left them shaken to the core." The source also said: "This isn't just someone making empty threats. "According to other victims, this individual has allegedly set fires, made bomb threats, and has even threatened to blow up children at their schools. While a source previously told The Sun: 'It's been absolutely terrible for Chris and Camilla. Strictly star calls in cops and almost quit show after crazed female stalker made 'disgusting threats' 'He met this woman twice, very briefly, during work events and then she started telling all sorts of awful lies about him. 'He was never alone with her and they barely spoke so he's got no idea why she targeted him. 'The stuff she was coming up with was farcical. She then started calling companies Chris and Camilla were working with to tell them these made up lies. "She is intent on trying to ruin Chris and Camilla's life. Her other victims are said to have struggled professionally, financially, and mentally. 'Chris warned police the minute his children were put into danger. "This woman posted their address online and made really nasty threats against him and his family.' Those close to Chris - who is set to star in this year's Strictly - said the BBC are aware of the ongoing issues and are supporting him. A friend said: 'Chris almost turned down Strictly because of what this woman has been putting him and his family through. 'She's made some disgusting threats. It has been awful for them. 'Chris and Camilla have been told by the police they're not alone. This woman has form for what she's been doing to them and has done it to other people too. 'Chris and Camilla are just the latest victims in a string of lives she's tried to destroy. 'He only went ahead with Strictly for his son Wilding. 'He told his dad: 'I want mummy to laugh at your dancing'. So Chris bit the bullet and went for it. 'He was honest with the BBC from the start and they've been amazing. 'They are supporting him and are aware of everything that is going on.'

Moment foul-mouthed Jet2 passenger is arrested on flight after squaring up to holidaymakers who cheer him off plane
SHOCKING footage has captured the moment a rowdy passenger was arrested by cops after a flight was diverted to a popular UK airport. The Jet2 flight, which took off from Leeds Bradford at 6.41pm last night, was heading for the Spanish hotspot of Alicante when it had to make a dramatic U-turn just 100 miles in. 5 Chaotic footage shows a rowdy passenger on a plane Credit: Yappapp 5 But the yob was arrested by police as the plane was forced to turn back Credit: Yappapp 5 Another clip taken through a window of the plane showed the man talking to three officers on the tarmac as one appeared to search him Credit: Yappapp The plane was flying above Leicester when a 'disruptive incident' erupted onboard involving a foul-mouthed passenger. Stunned travellers were left fuming as the flight - carrying up to 188 passengers - was delayed by around four hours after the Boeing 737 was forced to return back to Leeds Airport. Footage from onboard shows a 30-year-old man dressed in an orange T-shirt and jeans, smirking and taunting fellow passengers in the aisle. He is then seen shouting: 'Put your phone down and fight one on one.' One passenger had jumped out of their seat, while others could be heard trying to calm the situation, warning the man he'd get kicked off. The yob responded by sticking out his tongue and pounding his chest before going on a foul-mouthed rant. Another traveller tried to reason with fellow holidaymakers: 'Don't rise to it. Let him get chucked off.' Moments later, cheers erupted as uniformed cops stormed the plane at Leeds Bradford. Laughter and jeers rang out as passengers spotted officers boarding, with one saying: 'Look behind ya, lad! Look behind ya, big boy! You w****r!' The troublemaker's cocky grin was wiped clean as he spotted police heading his way. He briefly squared up to another man onboard before passengers began yelling: 'Arrest him now!' Shock moment 'drunk' pilot who 'reeked of booze' is escorted by cops from cockpit moments before takeoff The whole plane broke into applause as he was finally hauled off, with one person shouting: 'In a bit, lad!' Footage from outside the aircraft shows him being spoken to by three officers on the tarmac, with one appearing to search him. Cops confirmed to The Sun that the man was charged with entering an aircraft while drunk. He was bailed to appear before Leeds magistrates on Monday, 8 September. The passenger has also received a six-month flying ban, Jet2 confirmed. The plane was forced to stay on the ground until it eventually took off again at around 11pm, more than four hours after its scheduled departure time. A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told The Sun: "A 30-year-old man from Doncaster has been charged with entering an aircraft while drunk. "He has been bailed to appear before Leeds magistrates on Monday, 8 September." A Jet2 spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a disruptive passenger has received a six-month flying ban with us, following their appalling behaviour which led to flight LS491 from Leeds Bradford to Alicante having to return to Leeds Bradford so that police could offload them. "As a family friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive passenger behaviour." 5 The man was arrested by police after the aircraft returns to Leeds Airport Credit: Yappapp
