Jimmy Butler shares Batman themed post on IG after Warriors Game 3 win over Rockets
Jimmy Butler didn't waste much time chiming in on Instagram following the Golden State Warriors' win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night in Game 3 at Chase Center. While Butler was sidelined on Saturday due to a pelvic contusion, the star forward praised his team on Instagram, especially Steph Curry, aka "Batman."
After calling Curry Batman following Golden State's win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in tournament, Butler made another Caped Crusader reference on Saturday night.
Following the Warriors' 104-93 win in Game 3, Butler shared a photo of the iconic "bat signal." Yet, instead of the Batman logo, Curry's Curry Brand signature logo was in the signal.
Along with praising Curry and the Warriors, Butler jokingly took another shot at his teammate, Buddy Hield. In the caption, Butler said, "thanks batman and team. excluding buddy."
Since joining the Warriors, Butler and Hield have had a hilarious back and forth. Butler recently complained about Hield dribbling the ball while Hield called Butler's triple-double from the regular season, "fake."
Buter suffered a pelvis injury after a hard fall to the floor in the first quarter of Wednesday's Game 2 in Houston. Butler was ruled out of Saturday's game with a left pelvic contusion. The veteran wing will get Sunday off before the Warriors return to Chase Center to host the Rockets for Game 4 on Monday.

Jessica Pegula blasts ‘delusional' bettors after revealing death threats she received after French Open exit

American tennis star Jessica Pegula shared a taste of the heinous comments she's received on social media following her shocking exit from the French Open in a series of Instagram Stories she posted on her account on Wednesday. Pegula, daughter of billionaire Bills and Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula and ranked No. 3 in the world in tennis, called out the bettors she said sent her the disturbing and abusive comments, which ranged from wishing her firstborn child be a stillbirth to wishing death to her. Pegula lost the French Open in the fourth round to wild card Lois Boisson, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Susan Mullane-Imagn Images 'These [bettors] are insane and delusional,' Pegula wrote on her Instagram Story. 'And I don't allow dms and try to remember when to shut my comments off during tournament weeks but they always find a way to my timeline. This stuff has never really bothered me much but does any other sport deal with this to our level? I'd love to know because it seems to be [predominantly] tennis?? It's so disturbing.' Before the comment, Pegula shared a handful of images highlighting the bonkers messages she's received from people on her page. Advertisement In one image, it showed several comments that included calling her a 'trash can' and another that told her to 'just quit playing tennis and enjoy your father's money! You are literally the most useless top 10 player ever.' 'Can't wait until Karma spends the block back on you. Hopefully your first born child will be a still birth,' one disturbed comment read. Another person made a crass comment about her deceased dog, telling Pegula, 'Tucker is better off without this loser.' Absolutely crazy,' she wrote. 8 Jessica Pegula posted to her Instagram story some of the messages she received after her French Open exit. jpegula/Instagram 8 Jessica Pegula posted to her Instagram story some of the messages she received after her French Open exit. jpegula/Instagram 8 Jessica Pegula posted to her Instagram story some of the messages she received after her French Open exit. jpegula/Instagram 'I've seen stories of comments/threats/stalking making headlines in other sports… well news flash I can guarantee it's 100 times worse. These comments are nonstop for us. Win or lose – it's whatever they bet on.' Sadly, the abuse has become such a part of the tennis star's life that when the NHL had alerted her to threats to her, she was barely phased by them. Advertisement 'My response was 'oh that's it? I get those all the time' that is so messed up that that is my response. Normalizing death threats!' she added. Threats to athletes have become an increasingly visible topic recently, and Houston Police revealed earlier this week that an overseas sports bettor had been the culprit of death threats made toward Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. and his family.

Romeo Beckham splits from girlfriend Kim Turnbull after 7 months amid family feud

Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull have gone their separate ways, as family tensions within the Beckham clan continue to simmer. The 22-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham had dated Turnbull, 26, for seven months before their romance turned sour. The couple ultimately parted ways in May, just three weeks after a lavish 50th birthday celebration for Romeo's father, David Beckham — an event that seemed to underscore lingering tensions within the family. 5 Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull have called it quits as tensions continue to rumble within the Beckham family. GC Images 'Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together, but at that age, things don't always last forever, and they decided to split up,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues. It's a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy, but it wasn't to be.' Insiders claim that the split had nothing to do with Romeo's rumored feud with brother Brooklyn. 'David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola (Peltz) and Brooklyn because that simply isn't the case,' they said. 5 The 22-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham had dated Turnbull, 26, for seven months before their romance turned 180 Studios 5 Insiders claim that the split had nothing to do with Romeo's rumored feud with brother Brooklyn, 26. Instagram/victoriabeckham 'The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too, there is lots of traveling for both of them at having a relationship at this time isn't all that conducive to their lives.' The duo were first linked in November 2024 when Romeo featured Turnbull in an Instagram post following a trip to the Big Apple. It was soon reported that Romeo's older brother, Brooklyn, took issue with Turnbull after the relationship was confirmed, driving a wedge between the two brothers. 5 Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, have noticeably kept their distance from family events in recent weeks. Instagram/@nicolaannepeltzbeckham However, sources had immediately debunked that theory to Page Six at the time. Additionally, a source close to Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz told Page Six that the couple 'didn't know Romeo and Kim split' because none of them has spoken 'in months.' Brooklyn and Peltz have noticeably kept their distance from family events in recent weeks. The aspiring chef and his wife, 30, failed to show up for David's 50th birthday bash in London in May — fueling rumors of an ongoing family rift. 5 Rumors suggest that Peltz and Brooklyn's mother, Victoria, are embroiled in a feud of their own. nicolaannepeltzbeckham/Instagram Victoria, sons Romeo, Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13, were all present at David's star-studded bash at a London restaurant. Brooklyn was also notably absent from Victoria's fashion show in Paris in March, which had Romeo, Cruz and Harper all in attendance.

Caitlin Clark Sends 6-Word Message After Two Straight Missed Games

Caitlin Clark Sends 6-Word Message After Two Straight Missed Games originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky are hosting the Indiana Fever at United Center on Saturday, June 7. Getting a week between games, Chicago last played on May 31 against the Dallas Wings. Defeating Dallas in consecutive games, Chicago picked up its first two wins of the season before heading into this matchup against Indiana. Advertisement Before the 2025 WNBA season began, the Sky announced this game against the Fever had been moved from Wintrust Arena to United Center. This decision was made before the unfortunate news that Caitlin Clark had been sidelined for multiple weeks with a quad injury that will force her to miss the rematch against Chicago. Chicago and Indiana faced off in their respective season openers, with the Fever securing a dominant 93-58 victory. Clark recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5).Grace Smith/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images While she has missed Indiana's last two games, Clark has made her presence felt on the bench. This includes a road game against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, which means Clark is currently cleared to travel with the team despite not suiting up. If this stays the same, she will presumably be in attendance for Saturday's game in Chicago. Advertisement Ahead of that matchup, several Clark photos were shared by photographer Bri Lewerke on Instagram. Clark issued a six-word response to the photos. "You are unreal w the camera," she wrote. As previously mentioned, it is reasonable to assume Clark will again be a fixture on Indiana's bench when the team travels to Chicago this weekend. The Fever do have one more game before that contest, which is a rematch with Washington at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday.
