Following Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3, a major controversy erupted over his unprofessional behaviour. While co-star and producer Akshay Kumar has sued the actor for taking the advance payment of Rs 11 lakh and leaving the film midway, Rawal returned the fee with 15 per cent interest and accused him of not delivering the screenplay of the movie.

'Mujhe lagta hai ki kar lena chahiye unko film, baithke baat karein, matter solve karein kyunki fans bohut miss karenge Paresh ji ko film mein, maza nahi aayega na waisa unke bina. To baat karke solve karlena chahiye, meri nazar mein to yahi sahi hai (I feel that they should do the film, sit and talk, solve the matter, because fans will miss Paresh ji a lot. It will not be fun without him. So they should talk and solve the matter),' said Johny while talking to Zoom.
Johny also shared how he was approached for the movie and said, 'Mujhe bhi Hera Pheri ki dhamki aa chuki hai, ki aap booked ho (Even I've received the Hera Pheri warning – that I'm already booked).'
Akshay Kumar spoke about his feud with Paresh Rawal at the Housefull 5 trailer launch and shared, 'Jo bhi kuch hai I don't think this is a place where I will talk about it because it is a very serious matter. It is a matter which is going to be handled by the court so I don't think I am going to speak about it here.'
Speaking to the same publication, Suniel Shetty also seconded Johny's opinion and said, 'A film becomes iconic when the audience remembers the characters. This is not Suniel, Akshay, and Paresh; it was Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao. Nobody can replace those 3 characters, and even when Kartik was considered for the movie, he was never going to replace Raju; it was for a different role altogether.'

'Chhaava' director Laxman Utekar tells 'Chale Jao Beshak, koi zabardasti nahi hai,' as he reacts to Anurag Kashyap's statement about leaving Bollywood: 'Aap wahin atke huye ho'
A while ago, Anurag Kashyap had said in an interview that he wants to leave Bollywood and Bombay as he's fed up of it. He had criticised the industry for making the same kind of movies and not wanting to experiment. He had also slammed OTT platforms for the same. Earlier, in an interview with The Hindu, he said, "I've left Mumbai. I want to stay away from film people. The industry has become too toxic. Everyone is chasing unrealistic targets, trying to make the next Rs 500 or Rs 800 crore film. The creative atmosphere is gone.' Now 'Chhaava' director Laxman Utekar has reacted to Kashyap's statement. When asked about it in an interview, he told Mama's Couch, "Chale jao chod kar, beshak chale jao, koi zabadasti nahi kar raha hai. See, ye industry aisi hai ki you have to be mentally and creatively happy, then only we can make a great… agar aapka mann nahi hai yahan rehne ka toh aap great film kaise banaoge? Aap chale jao, isse acha (Leave if you want to, nobody is forcing you to stay. You can only make movies if you are creatively happy, and there's no point in forcing yourself if you can't put your heart in it). ' He further said that Kashyap is wrong in saying that the audience has no sensibility. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Esse novo alarme com câmera é quase gratuito em Campanha (consulte o preço) Alarmes Saiba Mais Undo He added, "Woh galat bol rahe hai jab woh kehte hai ki audience ko sensibilities nahi hai unki film accept karne ki… balki unki sensibility nahi hai audience ka taste accept karne ki. Aaj 700-800 crore tak business kar rahi hai films… how can you say cinema is dying? Aap collection toh dekho Baahubali ka, RRR ka, Pushpa ka—1200 crore tak ka collection tha. Ya phir in fact Chhaava ka. Sensibility aapki change honi chahiye kyunki aap wahin par aatke huye ho (How can you say cinema is dying when movies are doing business of over Rs 1000 crore? You should change your sensibilities instead of telling the audience to change themselves).' Laxman said that film-makers will have to evolve with time as the audience is constantly evolving. "Aaj audience ke paas apne phone mein duniya bhar ka cinema hai. They are more updated than you. They know what to watch and what not to. And after every three years, cinema is changing. cinematography is changing, editing is changing, storytelling, costume… everything is changing. As a filmmaker, you have to change. You can't be stuck in the past and say the audience doesn't have sensibility. You have to change," he said. The director also criticised some film-makers who just make movies for a certain kind of audience from Bandra to Juhu. He said, "Unko pata hi nahi hai logon ko kya dekhna hai… kyunki woh rehte hai aise Juhu-Bandra jaise posh areas mein. Wahan rehna bura nahi hai, main bhi chahta hoon wahan rahun. Inn logon ka holiday hota hai London, New York, Dubai mein… unko Bandra ke aage Parel, Thane, Chembur jaise areas pata hi nahi. They don't even know these areas exist. Jab aap apna desh ghume hi nahi ho… aap apne desh ko jaante hi nahi ho… aap apne brands mein busy ho… toh unko kaise pata chalega ki log kya dekhna chahte hai (These people have no idea that there is a world beyond Juhu and Bandra. They need to open their eyes and travel around the country. Instead, they are busy with their brands).' NewJeans To Pay Hefty Fine For Taking Up Activities Without ADOR's Permission
Last Updated: The court gave the ruling to keep the contract between the agency and NJZ as it is, and to prevent the group from signing separate advertisement contracts. South Korean girl group NJZ (formerly NewJeans) has locked horns with ADOR since November last year over its contract with the agency. In a new update regarding the ongoing legal battle between both parties, a South Korean court has ruled that the quintet, comprising Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, cannot take part in any independent activities without the permission of ADOR or court orders. On Friday, May 30, Koreaboo reported that the 52nd Civil Affairs Department of the Seoul Central District Court partially approved ADOR's request for an injunction. This was done to keep the contract between the agency and NJZ as it is, and to prevent the group from signing separate advertisement contracts. As per the ruling, the quintet would require ADOR's permission until the court decides whether the contract between them stands valid or not. This decision also means that each of the five members of NJZ is not allowed to take up any projects independently or through any third parties, including music or advertisements, until a final ruling is made about their contract dispute with ADOR. If any of the members break this rule, they could be fined a huge amount. They would need to pay 1 billion KRW (approx. $730,000 or Rs 6.24 crore) to ADOR per violation. NJZ would also be required to pay the legal fees per application if they ever violate the judgment. 'The debtor, NJZ, must not engage in entertainment activities independently or through a third party without ADOR's prior approval or consent until the first trial verdict on the contract's validity is announced," said the court. The new approval comes over two months after the Seoul Central District Court, on March 21, accepted the injunction made by ADOR, giving them the liberty to prevent the quintet from carrying out independent activities. The judgment on the injunction was also expanded to prohibit the five members from engaging in any entertainment activities, such as writing, composing, and singing independently. Moreover, when the quintet challenged the judgment, the court rejected their objection in April. Besides the injunctions, the legal battle between NJZ and ADOR continues. Last year, when the girl group announced its sudden departure from the agency, ADOR initiated legal proceedings to confirm the validity of its contract. The next court hearing, where both sides will present their arguments, is set to take place on June 5. First Published:
