Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is putting out the call — everyone on the squad is vital to the tasks at hand and all will be needed for the team to achieve its ultimate goals.
'Everyone is important. That's always a cliché you say before the season when everyone is fit. But we've seen that we've got a few injured players, so it's really true that everyone is important. Everyone gets their minutes and everyone has to work hard and be professional so that they're there at the decisive moment,' Kimmich told Martin Volkmar of ranSport (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). 'Just like Stani [Josip Stanišić] did [against Augsburg]. He played in an unfamiliar left-back position, played a very, very good game and that's exactly what we need. We don't just need eleven players who can decide games, we need the whole squad right now. Especially because we have a lot of injuries. And we have to be able to rely on each other.'

Bild (via @iMiaSanMia) indicated that Kimmich and the rest of the squad should be bolstered with Leon Goretzka and Harry Kane both deemed ready for action. Goretzka tweaked his back vs. St. Pauli, while Kane said that he sprained his ankle vs. FC Augsburg:
Harry Kane (ankle knock) and Leon Goretzka (back problems) trained with the team today and should both be ready to start against Inter on Tuesday. Kingsley Coman has yet to resume training and is a doubt for Tuesday.
When asked what to expect against Inter Milan, Kimmich said that he was not so sure.
'Difficult to say. I haven't watched Inter that much this season. I think they traditionally defend very well; you can see that in the Champions League, where they've only conceded two goals. It will be tough. Augsburg hadn't conceded many goals in recent games, but we still scored three. St. Pauli also conceded very few goals; we scored three. We know we can score against any defense in the world,' said Kimmich.

Arsenal player makes Champions League Team of the Season
Declan Rice has been named in the Champions League Team of the Season for 2024/25, after Arsenal's run to the semi-finals of the competition. Photo byThe official UEFA Champions League social media pages have announced their 2024/25 Champions League Team of the Season, as selected by UEFA's Technical Observer Group. Advertisement The team is primarily composed of Paris Saint-Germain players, following their 5-0 win in the final of the competition against Inter Milan last week. But a few players from other clubs have been selected, including Arsenal's Declan Rice. The other three non-PSG players are Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni, who made the final, and Barcelona's Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, who were eliminated in the semi-final. UEFA Champions League Team of the Season for 2024/25 Rice made 13 appearances for Arsenal in this season's Champions League, only missing a League Phase game against Inter Milan through injury. The midfielder was used as a substitute for the final League Phase game against Girona, but he started the other 12 matches, scoring four goals and assisting two more. Advertisement The 26-year-old's most notable moment was the 12-minute spell in which he scored two free-kicks against Real Madrid, and those goals only underlined a couple of outstanding displays in that quarter-final tie. Photo byIt was ultimately a shame that Rice was unable to play the same role for the home leg of the semi-finals against eventual champions PSG, with Thomas Partey's suspension forcing Mikel Arteta to adapt and drop the England international deeper. Arsenal ended up falling short 3-1 on aggregate, but if they hope for another long run in the Champions League next season, Rice will surely play a major role again.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to join Real Madrid early as Liverpool accept £10m deal
Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to complete an early move to Real Madrid after Liverpool accepted a £10million fee for the right-back. Alexander-Arnold was expected to move to the Spanish giants following the expiry of his Reds contract at the end of June, but Madrid have paid an eight-figure fee to expedite the transfer ahead of the Club World Cup. Advertisement Xabi Alonso, Madrid's new head coach, wanted the player in his squad for their first match of the newly expanded tournament against Al Hilal in Miami on June 18. Alexander-Arnold will officially become a Madrid player on the first summer transfer window opens on June 1. Real Madrid have confirmed that Alexander-Arnold has signed a six-year contract with the club, which will begin on June 1, and his debut will come in the Club World Cup. Alexander-Arnold's move brings to an end a 20-year association with Liverpool. The England international confirmed his impending exit earlier in May, issuing a statement which read: 'After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, now is the time for me to confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the season. Advertisement 'This is easily the hardest decision I've ever made in my life. I know many of you have wondered why or been frustrated that I haven't spoken about this yet, but it was always my intention to keep my full focus on the team's best interests, which was securing No.20.' Alexander-Arnold joined Liverpool's academy at the age of six and has gone on to make more than 350 appearances for the club. He leaves the Reds with a complete set of trophies to his name, having won two Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2019, to go with an FA Cup, a League Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
