El Paso Police: 4 arrested for stealing Porsche cars in Central El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Four men were recently arrested and are facing several charges, including theft of property and criminal trespass, after stealing four Porsche vehicles valued at nearly $1 million on Wednesday, March 12, in Central El Paso, El Paso Police said.
The following men were arrested and charged as follows, according to EPPD:
Corey Dana Reed: Age 37; charged with theft of property; $300,000 bond.
Juan Reynaldo Ochoa: Age 43; charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass; total bond of $8,500.
Milton Castilleja: Age 36; charged with theft of property, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of prohibited sub/item in correctional facility; total bond of $106,000.
Luis Miguel Ubieta: Age 42; charged with possession of a controlled substance; $2,500 bond.
On Wednesday, the EPPD's Auto Theft Task Force was notified of a burglary in Central El Paso, during which four Porsche 911 cars, valued at nearly $1 million, were stolen, the department said.
EPPD said all four vehicles were recovered within six hours of the theft, and the offenders were arrested and taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing, EPPD said.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at the Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St. The Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages Las Cruces residents of all ages to have lunch with the Community Outreach Team at an area splash pad. Participants can visit with team members, discuss police matters and share their concerns about public safety while their kids cool off in the splash pad, according to the City of Las Cruces. Other Lunchbox Lemonade events will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays: June 26, Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave. July 10, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St. July 24, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St. Aug. 7, Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave. Aug. 21, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Las Cruces Police have released photos of a vehicle believed to have been driven by the suspect involved in the shooting that killed a 14-year-old boy earlier this week. As we've previously reported, the shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Monday, June 2, near the intersection of Solano Drive and Spruce Avenue, where 14-year-old Alejandro Roman died as a result of an alleged road rage incident. Las Cruces Police: 14-year-old dead after alleged road rage shooting According to Las Cruces Police, the suspect is believed to be a male who was driving a white Honda Odyssey or a similar vehicle, such as a minivan or sport utility vehicle. Las Cruces Police said they have obtained the images of the suspect vehicle and are releasing them in hopes of someone recognizing the vehicle or the person who was driving the vehicle on the evening of the shooting. Anyone who has information on who might be responsible for the deadly shooting is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795. According to Las Cruces Police, Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces-Doña Ana County is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest. To be eligible for the Crime Stoppers reward, tips must be sent to Crime Stoppers. Information can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A total of 17 individuals with outstanding criminal warrants were arrested during the second operation under the Joint Warrant Initiative on Wednesday, June 4, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPCSO) said in a news release. 21 wanted suspects arrested in joint warrant round-up The following individuals were arrested during the warrant round-up, according to EPCSO: EPCSO said this latest operation was carried out in partnership with the offices of Constable Frank Almada, Precinct 1; Constable Hector Bernal, Precinct 3; Constable Javier Garcia, Precinct 6; and Constable Angie Summers, Precinct 7. 'Our priority is holding individuals with outstanding warrants accountable,' Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said. 'I'm grateful for the continued dedication of the team at the Sheriff's Office, and I appreciate the Constables who joined us in making this second operation a success.' EPCSO said the Joint Warrant Initiative was launched last month as a coordinated approach to reduce the number of outstanding criminal warrants across El Paso County.
