Yellowstone star, 54, marries weather presenter fiancée, 34, in Vatican wedding
The actor, known for his roles in films including Sweet Home Alabama and Ford v Ferrari, and weather presenter Brianna Ruffalo announced on Friday that they had said their vows at the official residence of the Pope in Rome, Italy.
Brianna, who works for ABC7 in Los Angeles, captioned an Instagram carousel from their special day: 'Mr and Mrs Incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together inside the heart of the Catholic Church and holy city.'
She shared a selection of snaps from their ceremony inside one of the chapels, which showed Josh planting a kiss on her inside the church and photos of them posing outside the famous St Peter's Basilica.
'I love you! Easily one of the greatest days of my life. I am so so grateful,' Josh wrote in the comments section as others rushed to share their congratulations, including Brianna's ABC7 colleagues.
He also shared photos on his account as he thanked people for who helped 'make the dream of wedding in the Vatican come true'.
'Congratulations my friend. This is the good stuff,' commented White Lotus star Walton Goggins while Oscar and Emmy-winning actress Alison Janney shared her good wishes and House of Cards' Michael Kelly added: 'Perfect!!! Congratulations yall!!!'
Brianna gave a hint at what it entails to get married in the holy location – something only open to Catholic couples – in a follow-up post on Saturday evening, where she shared a gorgeous portrait of her and her husband posing on a balcony outside together in their wedding finery, heads together.
'We are grateful to the many people who helped us get to this moment in the Catholic Church,' she began. 'I am so thankful for Father Winters at the parish I grew up in, and Sister Angelica at the archdiocese of Los Angeles – as well as several others within the archdiocese.
'We also absolutely couldn't have done this without our stellar wedding planning team who coordinated with the Vatican. Thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and easy.'
Upon announcing their engagement last July, the American Psycho actor – who has recently delighted fans by portraying the young version of Kevin Costner's character John Dutton on smash-hit cowboy show Yellowstone – shared that he was 'grateful and thrilled' that Brianna had agreed to be his wife after he popped the question during a romantic Italian holiday.
The happy couple, who had been together for almost two years, shared their news on Instagram, with a tearful Brianna laughing as she showed off her diamond ring while musicians played Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love.
Josh captioned his post: 'For the last 2 years in every way and every day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole.
'I am so grateful and thrilled she said 'Yes'. I WAY love you Brianna. Thank you to our families and all the people and places that made this come true. I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky.'
Meanwhile, Brianna said that accepting Josh's proposal was the 'easiest and best question' she'd ever answered.
She wrote on her own page: 'Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life… and we knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we've never experienced – on every level. This was the easiest and best question I've ever answered. So, here's to forever with my love, my best friend. I can't wait to keep living this life with you.'
Josh was previously married to ex-wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, with whom he shares 13-year-old son Noah.
The former couple were engaged six weeks after meeting in 2011, marrying in 2012 and then divorcing in 2014. More Trending
He previously joked that Brianna is 'fully' on the side of Patrick Dempsey's character Andrew Hennings in his classic 2002 rom-com Sweet Home Alabama.
The movie sees Reese Witherspoon's Melanie Smooter leave her fiancé Andrew for Josh's character Jake Perry at the end of the film.
He told Entertainment Tonight: 'In [Brianna's] mind, she's like, 'But you're the guy that kind of ruined their relationship!'
'The funny thing is once she said that, all these people have come up to me and been like, 'Yeah, I was Team Patrick too.''

The London singer-songwriter, 35, and the Worcester actress, 43, had their work combined by budget airline Jet2 years ago for an advertisement campaign. Sylvanian Drama, launched by Irish content creator Thea Von Engelbrechten, is being sued by Japanese company Epoch. It is now being reported that Sylvanian Drama, which has 2.5 million followers on TikTok and 1 million on Instagram, is being sued for copyright infringement, trademark infringement and unfair competition. Why is the lawsuit only being reported now? Epoch's lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on April 7, initially went unnoticed but drew attention last week when some outlets reported on the situation. It came after reporters noticed months of silence from the account. The lawsuit, first reported by The Irish Independent, added that the site also uses a copyrighted image as Sylvanian Drama's social media profile picture. CCTV captures moment toy-loving boy crawls into claw machine The company claims that Thea Von Engelbrechten has been 'doubling her efforts to exploit Epoch's copyrights and trademarks for her own commercial gain' despite the company's attempts to work the issue out amicably. Sylvanian Families, also known as Calico Critters in the United States and Canada, are felt dolls in the shape of cute, anthropomorphized animals. They were first released in Japan in 1985. How did Sylvanian Drama become so popular? The creatures range from bunnies and kittens to squirrels and more, all with wide, black eyes and tiny clothing. The videos on Sylvanian Drama, all of which feature Calico Critters, often rack up millions of views each. Von Engelbrechten began posting Sylvanian Drama videos in 2021, when she was a 19-year-old multimedia student at Dublin City University. She told The Tab in a 2023 interview that her videos were meant to parody shows like 'Gossip Girl' and 'Pretty Little Liars.' 'I'm always surprised that I'm not already canceled for the stuff that I do,' she said. 'I don't mean any harm and also … a lot of the issues that I joke about are problems in my own life. 'There's a lot of stuff about weight and dieting and people struggling with that, and that's all just me joking about myself. So I'm not making fun of anyone.' Inspiration for content As reported by the BBC, the court document states that in an interview with influencer marketing company Fohr, Von Engelbrechten said her inspiration for the storylines came from "cringey TV shows and early 2000s comedy". She added: "I'm also really inspired by my cats because they are extremely sassy and self-obsessed and can be so cute, but they also have no morals when it comes to killing other animals. 'I try to embody that with the Sylvanians." Asked why she thought her videos were so popular she told Fohr: "Maybe it's because it's coming from the voice of a 22-year-old who struggles with the same things as [they do]. 'I have a lot of storylines about insecure people, diet culture, toxic men, and sustainability, which I think other girls my age are also thinking a lot about." Do you have a Sylvanian Families toy worth up to £500 in your house? Anyone who grew up in the 80s will remember the cute Sylvanian Families toys - and some could now fetch you a pretty penny on eBay. The furry animals come in neat family sets (mum and dad, son and daughter), all with old-fashioned outfits, jobs and homes. The cute characters were first introduced in the UK back in 1985, after being designed by Japanese firm Epoch. And it seems like the older and rarer your models, the more they might now be worth online. Last year, a collector sold a rare Japanese doll from 2003 for a whopping £500 - almost five times its auction start price of £99. Another vintage Sylvanian teddy bear from the 1980s sold for £456. A date has been set for August 14 for a pre-trial conference. This is when legal teams from both sides will meet to explore settlement options or prepare the case for trial. Von Engelbrechten and Epoch have yet to respond to press requests for comment.

Amanda Holden has been married to her husband, Chris Hughes, for 14 years, and the star has now shared the one thing she has to do a few times a year to prove he's still part of her family Television star Amanda Holden has revealed she performs one particular ritual twice annually to demonstrate that husband Chris Hughes actually exists. Amanda, 54, has been married to Chris, 51, for 22 years, yet insists that despite the decades together, their union still feels incredibly fresh. When the Times asked whether she preferred a novel or Netflix, she confessed that it all hinges on the season. She elaborated: "I have the biggest pile of books I'm taking on holiday, and I'm even more excited about reading them than I am about seeing long-lost friends. "But in winter I'm up to my eyeballs in Netflix and Amazon Prime and Apple TV+. I love The Morning Show and Bad Sisters. The Handmaid's Tale is hands-down the best thing I've ever seen."
