Jess Glynne finally meets Jet2 voiceover artist taking over our summer

Metro21-07-2025
Jess Glynne and Zoe Lister – the two people behind the viral TikTok sound of the summer – have finally met in person for the first time.
The London singer-songwriter, 35, and the Worcester actress, 43, had their work combined by budget airline Jet2 years ago for an advertisement campaign.
Jess' 2015 UK number one song Hold My Hand has been the signature tune for Jet2 adverts – and onboard Jet2 flights – for many years now.
Former Hollyoaks actress Zoe was later hired by the airline to produce the now-famous 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday' voiceover on a number of their TV spots.
The sound clip of the Jet2 Hold My Hand mash-up has spread all over TikTok and beyond during the heatwave-hit British summer of 2025, becoming a viral sensation.
To celebrate, Capital Breakfast with Jordan North got Jess and Zoe in a room together for the very first time on Monday morning, with the pair joining in on the meme fun.

In a video posted to Instagram, host Jordan initially found it hard to contain his excitement, screeching at the top of his lungs that Jess and Zoe's meeting was 'finally happening'.
'It's happening! It's happening!' he screamed as Zoe entered the studio and gave Jess a massive hug, while there were calls for everybody to 'calm down' off-camera.
Co-host Chris Stark asked Jess: 'You know what's coming, right? We've got to chat about it. Of course, talking about Hold My Hand… You always hear that song whenever you go on a plane.
'Then it's in the advert. And then, for reasons no one really understands, this summer, it just exploded on TikTok. Has it surprised you how massive this has all gone?
Jess replied that she was grateful for the renewed interest in the song: 'Yeah, it's a massive surprise 100%. It's the most amazing thing to see though.'
Jess then performed her own version of Zoe's famous voiceover, reading the full script out in the studio: 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday. And right now, you can save £50 per person. That's £200 off for a family of four.'
Her rendition was greeted with massive cheers in the studio, including from Zoe herself, who laughed along to Jess' impression of her.
Zoe then gave an impromptu live performance of her famous voiceover while Hold My Hand played in the background, once again being received by loud cheering from the hosts. More Trending
Hold My Hand spent three weeks at number one in 2015 and spent 51 weeks in total on the UK charts, eventually being certified 3x Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry.
Zoe starred as Zoe Carpenter on Hollyoaks between 2006 and 2010, also appearing on Big Brother's Little Brother and T4 On the Beach around the same time.
In the 2010s, she turned towards theatre – she was celebrated for her performance as Lady Macbeth during a 2012 run of the William Shakespeare play.
Jet2 started using her voiceover in 2019 – four years after she married musician Rob Castell.

Jess Rowe is left 'speechless' after discussing this X-rated act with Australia's biggest porn star

Jess Rowe was lost for words on Wednesday when she interviewed Australia's biggest porn star. The Aussie journalist and author, 55, sat down with Angela White to chat about the porn industry on her LiSTNR podcast The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show. However, Jess was 'speechless' when Angela, 40, revealed the extensive behind the scenes work which goes into creating an anal sex video. Angela said she has to be careful about what she eats prior to a scene involving her derriere, and also has to clean out her rectum by undergoing an enema. 'My goodness,' Jess remarked, flabbergasted by the amount of work Angela did to prepare for such a scene. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She added: 'I don't think I've ever had someone say to me, "I have to prepare my body for an anal scene."' Angela further revealed hygienic practices such as shaving, douching and washing weren't the only preparations she made prior to a scene. The porn star also had to tick off admin tasks beforehand, such as researching marketing trends and filling out a boundaries checklist with her on-screen sexual partner. 'I'm almost speechless,' Jess said. 'I'm not often speechless, but in terms of this conversation, because it sort of opens my eyes to things and you're very passionate about opening our eyes to looking at porn differently.' Angela also recently left Beau Ryan blushing after talking about all things sex with the rugby star on air. Beau, who is married to Kara Orrell, was joined by the adult actress on Triple M Breakfast with Beau, Cat and Woodsy, where they discussed what goes on in the bedroom. Beau raised eyebrows after asking Angela for advice when it comes to a certain sexual act. 'Foreplay... Can foreplay go on too long?' he asked. 'Because I know someone—I won't say who it is out of the three of us—who's a real big foreplay person. Maybe me... 'How long should you spend on foreplay? Is it something that you enjoy? Do you think it's worth it?' Angela, who is Adult Video News' first three-time female performer of the year winner, responded simply, saying: 'I love foreplay.' 'What about just foreplay and no sex sometimes?' he asked. 'Oh I love that... A little edging. Yeah, I absolutely love that,' she confessed.

All the signs Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty had split as they announce shock separation after 12 years of marriage

After 12 years of marriage, Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty announced they were separating on Tuesday. But while the shock announcement was a surprise to fans, there were subtle signs that the former couple were on the rocks. Confirming their split in a joint statement, they said: 'We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. 'We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.' Cat and Patrick first met in 2002 while they hosted BBC talent show Fame Academy, however sparks didn't fly between the couple until 10 years later. After being friends for years, their friendship turned to romance thanks to his major gesture when he flew all the way from Belfast to Los Angeles for brunch with Cat. One of the signs that their relationship wasn't rock solid, was that Cat notably did not attend Patrick's mother Mary's funeral back in March. It was reported that she stayed home in order to support their two young children, Milo, nine, and James, seven, who were suffering the loss of their grandmother. Patrick, 54, looked bereft as he carried Mary's coffin through his home village, where he was joined by close family and friends at the Church of the Sacred Heart. A spokesperson for Cat told Daily Mail at the time: 'Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day.' Patrick's mother, who was in her 80s, passed away at her home in the village of Dundrum on Saturday. A death notice said Mary 'will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her entire family circle, neighbours and friends.' And the couple's social media was another telling sign of their impending split. While he may be less active than Cat, Patrick's last post about her was back in February 2024 when she landed the This Morning job. He wrote at the time: 'I didn't know what a morning person actually was until I met this woman. She gets up every day with a smile on her face. A 5.30am, whistling in the shower, smile on her face. Then downs two coffees, and gives you the look. The "what the f*€K's wrong with you, let's do this" look. 'It's not a pretend smile. And it's not just some mornings. It's every morning. Which is bloody difficult cos she's married to me. I should also mention she likes a chat. To anyone. About anything. Anywhere. 'If there's anyone in the world made for a show called @thismorning, it's this human. Strap yourself in @benshephardofficial And welcome to my world. We couldn't be prouder of you @catdeeley Go get 'em Mama ! ❤️.' Meanwhile Patrick hasn't featured on Cat's Instagram since the same day as his gushing This Morning tribute when she reposted it, despite the fact that she shares social media posts on a more than weekly basis. Another sign of trouble between the pair was a lack of public appearances in the last year. Pictures showed the pair enjoying a summer holiday to St Tropez last August, where they looked in high spirits. But their last red carpet appearance together was as far back as September 18, 2023, when they attended the Ballywalter London premiere at The May Fair Hotel. And a month before they looked loved-up at the launch of fragrance brand e11even founded by Cat and Amanda Grossman. This came just two months after they attended the Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) Awards together in May 2023. Back in 2024 Patrick opened up about the tricky times the couple had faced balancing their careers as both juggle parenting and hosting TV shows. Prior to her job at This Morning, Cat was the host of So You Think You Can Dance over in the US. Speaking about a period during Christmas 2023, Patrick told The Times: 'There was a moment after Christmas that was tricky. 'She had to fly to Atlanta for seven weeks. There was a wee bit of a juggle there. But I think with all these things, as long as you have a routine, it doesn't take as much fizz out of you as some people think.' Discussing how things have changed since her move to This Morning he added: 'Because Cat's doing her stuff in the morning, she would normally be back just after lunchtime. And we've got the start of the week and the weekends together, so it's not "Hi/bye".' The former couple are estimated to be worth approximately £11million with Cat believed to be on around £600,000 per year to host This Morning. Patrick, on the other hand, was given a three-year, £216,000 contract to host 30 episodes of the Late Late Show, after he took over from Ryan Tubridy. Meanwhile last year Cat stunned ITV viewers when she made a shock bedroom confession on This Morning. She and her co-host Ben Shephard were discussing whether separate rooms are the key to a happy marriage alongside Linda Lusardi and married couple Emma and Kevin - who choose to sleep in separate bedrooms. Speaking about her own bedroom arrangements, Cat revealed her sleeping situation with Patrick. She explained: 'It's one of those things that because of our schedule here [This Morning], from Monday to Thursday I sleep in the guest bedroom and the rest of the time I'm back. 'Because otherwise I get up at 5am and I want to fall asleep earlier.' Previously talking about how they got together Patrick told the Daily Mail: 'Well there had always been a spark between us, but either she was with someone or I was, and then she moved to LA, so opportunities for something to develop were limited. 'Unless someone was stupid enough to get on a plane, nothing would have happened. 'Cat was in LA and I was in Northern Ireland, so I texted her to wish her a happy birthday. 'When she said she was having a birthday lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, I said I'd be there. She told me to go to sleep as I was drunk. 'That was 2am. I got up at 5am, went to Belfast airport for 6am, got the 7.15am flight to Heathrow, landed at 8.30am, took off again at 9.40am and arrived in LA at 1.15pm. 'I was at the Beverly Hills Hotel by 2.15pm. When I walked in, Cat looked at me and said: "Oh, you're good!"' They married in a secret, intimate ceremony in Rome in 2012 with their close family and friends present. A wedding photo showed the pair looking blissfully happy as they enjoy a celebratory drink at their wedding reception. The couple lived in California for over 14 years as she presented So You Think You Can Dance but they put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $4.9 million (£3.8 million). They moved back to North London in 2020, prior to Cat securing her job at This Morning amid fears of gun violence following an incident in which Patrick had to hide from a gunman in a Los Angeles mall.
