Gemma Collins admits wedding plans are on hold again as she makes blunt admission
Gemma Collins certainly believes she can outdo Amazon boss Jeff Bezos' lavish ceremony, dubbed the celebrity wedding of the decade, and has chosen a very unique theme for her big day. However, the TOWIE icon bluntly admitted she hasn't laid down any plans despite her four-year engagement.
"After Jeff Bezos' wedding, I've sure as hell got to try and top that one, haven't I?" she exclusively told us. The reality TV star, 44, is in the midst of wedding planning, but admitted things aren't fully going to plan.
So much so, Gemma confessed she is even considering leaving it all to the last minute as she can't nail down exactly what she wants. It comes after Vogue Williams quits drinking after blacking out drunk at lavish showbiz wedding.
Her excitement at walking down the aisle hasn't dwindled, however, as she marks four years since her second engagement to fiancé Rami Hawash, whom she met in 2011.
Speaking of her plans so far, Gemma said: "It's going really well, but if I'm honest, I haven't actually done anything about it yet because I've had just the craziest of times recently. It's been nonstop. But I'm sure Jedward are gonna get up and sing.
"I've not decided where it's gonna be. I am very last-minute, so I'll probably decide two weeks before." While she hasn't set a date, Gemma says next year will be when she finally says her 'I dos'. "Absolutely it will be 2026. I spoke to my astrologer and that is the year to get married," she said.
Revealing more about her big day, including her very unique theme, the reality TV star admitted: 'I'd like it very mythical, actually. I'd like fairies. I'm obsessed with Maleficent, you know the movie? So I'd like a woodland setting. Very boho but magical."
However, Gemma has a lot of work to do as she added: "I haven't pulled my finger out and done one bloody single thing. So I'm literally at the very, very beginning. All I know is I want it mythical with mythical creatures."
Despite not having a guest list sorted, Gemma knows she'll have her best pals, Jedward, on hand to celebrate with her and has even been given a special role.
"They will be singing," she revealed. "They'll definitely have a major role in the big day. They could be mythical creatures. I love them to death, the boys."
Gemma recently teased her Instagram followers that she could recreate her viral Dancing On Ice fall, by getting married on ice."I've always been an oversharer. I love to spill the coffee. Everyone loved it," she said.
However, it turned out Gemma was simply having fun and seeing how much her fans would believe as she took on the task of oversharing for Sky. She said: "It's gonna be so much fun when people finally realise that I'm not getting married on ice."
