Eagles OL Darian Kinnard won his third consecutive Super Bowl
The Chiefs weren't able to three-peat, but one of their former players was.
Eagles offensive lineman Darian Kinnard won his third consecutive Super Bowl ring.
Kinnard played in none of the three Super Bowls as he was inactive for two, including Sunday's game, and on the practice squad for the other. But he still took part in the celebrations and won the rings.
The Chiefs made Kinnard a fifth-round pick in 2022. He played in one game as a rookie and then spent 2023 on the Chiefs' practice squad, seeing no action.
He signed a futures contract with the Eagles last January and played two games with one start — the Week 18 win over the Giants — this season. The Eagles made Kinnard inactive for 14 regular-season games and all four postseason games.
Former Pro Bowl linebacker Ken Norton Jr. also won three consecutive Super Bowls, winning back-to-back to with the Cowboys in 1992 and 1993 and then going to the 49ers, where he won a third consecutive. Kinnard, though, won his three in a row in his first three seasons. Norton's career began in 1988.
Kinnard told Paul Schwartz of The New York Post that he keeps his Super Bowl rings in a safety deposit box.
'I guess I can say I'm kind of spoiled when it comes to that,' Kinnard told Schwartz.

Chiefs cut two players as corresponding moves
The Chiefs cut tight end Kevin Foelsch and offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr. on Friday, according to the NFL's transactions report. They were corresponding moves after the Chiefs signed tight end Geor'Quarius Spivey and offensive lineman Joey Lombard, agreements that previously were reported. Both Spivey and Lombard were tryout players at the team's minicamp. Advertisement The Chiefs signed Foelsch, who was cut by the Texans on April 21. Anchrum, 26, joined Houston last November, signing with the team's practice squad. He did not appear in a game for Houston last season but returned on a futures contract. The Rams made Anchrum a seventh-round pick in 2020, and he has appeared in 31 career games with one start. He was on the Rams' roster in Super Bowl LIV. Anchrum also has spent time with the Seahawks and Saints. Foelsch signed nine days ago. The Eagles cut him from their practice squad near the end of last season. Foelsch played collegiately at New Haven, a Division II school, and had 16 touchdown receptions. He signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and also spent time with the Jets.

Josh Allen: MVP is an honor, but I didn't win a Super Bowl ring and that is the only goal
Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player for the 2024 season, but he still hasn't achieved the one thing he really wants in his career. Allen says that until he has a Super Bowl ring, his résumé has a hole in it. 'You know, it is such a great honor, and I do appreciate being honored for my work,' Allen told Liam McKeone of 'But at the same time, I still didn't win a Super Bowl. Didn't win a ring, and that is the only goal. It's the only focus that I've ever had going into this league.' Allen said to the extent that the MVP matters to him, it's mostly because a quarterback isn't going to get the MVP award unless his team had a good regular season. 'The one positive, I will say, about winning an MVP means that your team is in a good position,' Allen said. 'You're making the playoffs, you're playing well and you're doing whatever you can to help your team win football games. But at the end of the day, you got to make the playoffs and then you got to win three, maybe four games. And that's what we need to do. And we're going to continue to work as hard as we can and myself included. What can we do to find a way over that hump? So that's the only goal going forward.' The Bills have had a lot of regular-season success with Allen and have made the playoffs six years in a row. But Allen has yet to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl, and that's the one accomplishment that he's focused on heading into 2025.
