Hina Khan Reunites With OG Komolika Urvashi Dholakia In Fun Reel
Ekta Kapoor shared a fun reel featuring Urvashi Dholakia, the original Komolika, and Hina Khan, who played Komolika in the Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot.
Television czarina Ekta Kapoor is quite active on Instagram, and often shares fun reels on Instagram. This time around, she had a special surprise for fans! She left fans delighted as she brought together two 'Komolikas' from Kasautii Zindagii Kay -beloved television stars Hina Khan and Urvashi Dholakia- for an interesting reel! Both actresses have portrayed the character of Komolika at different times in the show's history- Urvashi Dholakia in the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Hina Khan in the reboot (Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2).
On Sunday, Ekta Kapoor shared a reel on her Instagram, which shows her saying, 'Ek nahi, do Komolika!" Hina Khan and Urvashi Dholakia then appear in the reel together, while the iconic villainous Komolika background music played, adding a fun and dramatic touch to the reel. Sharing the video, Ekta Kapoor wrote, 'Ek reeel ke price mein do do ! Directed by (badly), @4umehra." Check it out below!
Reacting to the video, Shalini Passi commented, 'Hehehe," while Urvashi Dholakia dropped red heart emojis. '@urvashidholakia nostalgiaaaa!" read one comment on the post, while another comment read, 'Naagin 7 toh pata nahi kab aaega KZK 3 le aao 1 Nayi Komolika dekhne ko mil jaayegi."
Urvashi Dholakia's Komolika is among the most iconic villains on Indian television. Hina Khan recently revealed that when she was offered to play Komolika in Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, she was apprehensive about taking the mantle forward from Urvashi.
While speaking with SCREEN, Hina said, 'Playing Komolika was not a conscious choice. Ekta Kapoor was the one who pumped me up and pushed me to do it. I was not at all confident to play an antagonist, that too Komolika. The iconic Urvashi Dholakia killed it, so in my head, it was just impossible to play the character any better."
'I thought I would fail with the character, so I didn't want to get into it because I had already played such a big character on Indian television. I didn't want people to unnecessarily hate me for the character. But Ekta was very confident; she said you are my Komolika and that she could not have thought of anybody else playing the character," she mentioned.

The new captain for team India in Tests, Shubman Gill too, made headlines with a sensational batting display, scoring 269 and 161 across the two innings — a rare feat that made him only the second batter, after Australia's Allan Border, in the history of International cricket, to register 150-plus scores in both innings of a Test match. Samantha Ruth Prabhu Sets The Night Ablaze In Fiery Saree And Corset Glam By Kresha Bajaj
Last Updated: Samantha Ruth Prabhu redefines evening elegance in a fiery Kresha Bajaj saree paired with sculpted glam and soft waves 'Last evening… ♥️" with just two words, Samantha Ruth Prabhu set Instagram ablaze. But it was her captivating look that did all the talking. Draped in a stunning saffron-orange saree by Kresha Bajaj, the actor delivered a fashion moment that blended contemporary sensuality with timeless Indian grace. The saree itself was a beautifully fluid silhouette, reimagined with bold textures and clever styling. The soft chiffon fabric flowed effortlessly, featuring cascading fringes along the pallu and hemline. But the true showstopper was the intricately embroidered corset blouse, a structured masterpiece adorned with bold florals in maroon, black, and muted metallics, perfectly cinched to enhance her form. The beadwork and floral thread embroidery lent the piece a couture finish, with statement fabric buttons running down the centre like a vintage detail brought into 2025. The colour palette of rust-red and burgundy, offset by Samantha's glowing complexion, created a regal yet fierce mood. The styling struck a perfect balance, the saree was neither overly traditional nor trying too hard to be edgy. It was poised, feminine, and unabashedly bold. Her makeup, like the ensemble, played up balance and contrast. With softly sculpted cheekbones, muted nude lips, and perfectly shaped brows, Samantha opted for a minimalist approach, allowing her expressive eyes to take centre stage. A subtle brown smokey eye with winged liner added intensity, while glowing, dewy skin kept the look fresh and radiant. The makeup enhanced her natural beauty without overpowering the look, embodying that 'soft glam" aesthetic that feels both red-carpet ready and editorial. Her hair, styled in flowing, soft curls swept to one side, added to the old-Hollywood-meets-modern-India vibe. The voluminous waves framed her face with a romantic softness, offsetting the structured blouse beautifully. Minimal jewellery just dainty hoops and a single bracelet kept the attention on the saree and her confident presence. Set against a European-style corridor and natural golden light, Samantha looked like she had stepped out of a modern-day fairytale. Whether she was owning the frame solo or caught candidly mid-laugh, the entire look radiated poise, power, and personality.
