Fans of Favorite Day Gourmet New York-Style Cheesecake are in for a rude awakening as Dessert Holdings, LLC has recalled the popular treat due to a mislabeling issue. According to a press release shared on March 19, the recall was initiated upon the discovery of pecans in the fan-favorite cheesecake while tree nuts of any kind were not disclosed on the label.
A customer complaint regarding the mislabeling is what initially triggered the recall, however, no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported in conjunction with this matter. As per the press release, the recalled Favorite Day Gourmet New York-Style Cheesecake was sold at Target stores in California, Florida, Iowa, Ohio and Texas between the dates of February 14 and March 7, 2025.

While product images have been provided here for convenience, customers who believe they may have the cheesecake in question in their possession can look out for lot code 25028A1 000039133 and UPC 0 85239 09690 1, each of which can be found on the side of the packages plastic clamshell. And as for the rest of Favorite Day's line of tasty bakery treats, the brand confirms that no other items have been impacted by the recall.

If you or someone else in your household has a pecan or tree nut allergy or sensitivity, it is recommended that you not consume the product as it can lead to serious health risks and allergic reactions. If the recalled cheesecake is in your possession, and you do have nut allergies or sensitivities, you can either throw it away entirely or return it to Target for a full refund.
On the other hand, if you do not have a pecan or tree nut allergy or sensitivity, you are cleared for takeoff. Feel free to dig in and enjoy so long as nuts of any kind won't ruin your cheesecake experience. The presence of nuts only triggered the recall due to their absence on the label of ingredients, and they are totally still safe to eat as a result.

Those with further questions or concerns regarding the recall can reach out to Target Guest Relations at (800) 444-0680 or Dessert Holdings at (720) 766-9060 or marketing@dessertholdings.com. It is here where you can get the information you need, or simply request a refund so should you not be able to make it to a physical Target storefront.

If You Wanna Feel Like An Adult, Get These 26 Products

A jar of the TikTok-famous Pink Stuff that single-handedly made an entire generation of young adults obsessed with cleaning. You can use it on cars, on grout, on cookware, on glass, on stovetops, on name it, you can probably use Pink Stuff on it. So, if your new apartment has a suspiciously stained bathroom sink, you absolutely can and should clean it. A ChomChom pet hair remover because when you were a kid, you didn't even realize your beloved, shaggy pup was leaving a trail of fluff wherever they went, but as an adult — it's all you can see. 😵‍💫 But don't fret, this little gadget will keep your couches, clothes, and carpets fur free. It picks up hair way better than any lint roller, and it's not going to scare your pets like a vacuum would. A set of Paris Hilton coupe glasses that'll actually feel like an upgrade from your undergrad years. It's time to stop pregaming out of the bottle or with plastic cups — you deserve actual luxury (even if your budget has basically been the same since you were in college). Plus, some wine drops to potentially help with those pesky headaches that seem to crop up every time you have a glass now. I mean, a pulsing head from drinking is basically a rite of passage into adulthood, but you shouldn't have to suffer through them just to enjoy a little sip. An as-seen-on Shark Tank grocery bag carrier that'll help you unload all those Target bags in just one trip. One minute you're a child being enlisted by your parent to help bring groceries in, and the next thing you know, you're the parent, and all of your kids are refusing to help. Thanks, guys. 🙄 A bottle of Wet n Forget Shower Cleaner to keep your bathroom from looking like it belongs in a frat house. Here's the good news, though — using this cleaner actually requires you to put in the same level of effort as a Sigma Chi brother would put into his last relationship. That's right: none at all! Just drench your tub, wait 8–12 hours, and rinse. No scrubbing, no trying. A pack of compression socks, because circulation regulation is no joke, especially as you get older. Compression socks can help promote healthy blood flow and can be part of an effective pain management routine. If you work a job where you stand for most of the day (servers, nurses, and teachers — I'm looking at you), you might want to give these a try. Oh, and pregnant reviewers are *loving* these for leg and feet swelling. An earth-shattering, conversation-starting card game because it's time our party games are as sophisticated as us. And, unlike Uno, We're Not Really Strangers will build relationships — not destroy them. This game is packed with questions that'll search your heart and bare your soul. A durable, plastic frame for all your loose posters hung up with Scotch tape. C'mon, now — this is not your college dorm. Have some decorum and use a frame. Even if your budget isn't quite ready for professionally framed art, you can still elevate your wall-hangings with this affordable beauty. A Tree of Life retinol serum that it's probably time to start using if you remember the blue, opaque Scooby Doo gummy. This serum could help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots with regular use. This particular formula is infused with hyaluronic acid and absorbs super quickly, so you can immediately layer it under your favorite moisturizer before bed for maximum benefits. Plus some Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen you'll want to use daily (and diligently 😉) especially if you use retinol, which can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. This product has SPF 40, boasts a nongreasy feel, and can be used as a makeup primer. An Oxo can opener, because if it's your first time buying one, you might as well get the best version. It's stainless steel and is built to last — and it has oversized, comfortable handles (with cushioning!!) that are designed to have a non-slip grip, even when they're wet. And a smooth-edge can opener so no matter where you are, you can finally drink your beers topless. Wait, hold on — I meant that the can could be topless anywhere. You *might* have to keep your shirt on. Sorry for the mix-up... 😔 A Squatty Potty to help you get in an optimal pooping position and move those stubborn turds along. Why does aging come with the free gift of constipation? Like, why couldn't the added bonus of getting older be an expensive cheese wheel or something? And some Gas-X, as if constipation wasn't enough — you're bloated now, too. These handy little tablets break down painful, existing gas trapped inside you and make it WAYYY easier to pass (which is why you might initially toot and burp a bunch after taking it). And, because you're an adult with your own Amazon account, you can buy these online and save yourself from making eye contact with a cashier while buying many, many packs of these. Some foaming garbage disposal packets that'll help keep your sink looking (and smelling) fresh. If you've recently acquired your first disposal-having sink, heed my words: Yes, you absolutely do need to clean it. This is a great option, especially if you have the responsibilities of an adult but the gross-smell tolerance of a petulant child. All you need to do is run a bit of hot water, throw the packet in, and turn on the disposal. Boom. Clean. A knee pillow you'll need if you've noticed that side-sleeping is beginning to get a This pillow can help with the hip and knee pain associated with side-sleeping, and provide some *amazing* pressure-relieving support. A set of reusable Loop earplugs that'll help muffle any sleep-disturbing noises because for some reason, aging has made you the reigning monarch of Light Sleeperdom. Each pair comes with four sets of silicone ear tips in different sizes, so you can pick the best fit and enjoy a quiet rest that's actually comfortable, too. Plus some Loop Experience earplugs for concerts, crowds, and otherwise noisy venues. Whether you've already dealt with noise-induced hearing loss or are just trying to help out future you, these are designed to protect your hearing from damage while still letting you, well, experience the world around you. Getting older means paying a little bit more attention to your health, but it doesn't mean you have to give up having fun. A keyboard calendar so reminiscent of the agendas that schools used to give us in middle school that you'll actually use it — just for pure nostalgia's sake. Plus, this planner comes blank, so you can literally just use it whenever — no need to wait until the first of the month to start! A set of detergent drip-catchers that'll finally cure the adulting ailment of laundry soap spills on your floor. Yes, there actually is a solution to this annoying problem. A drain snaking kit with a reusable handle and five disposable yes, you should absolutely be cleaning your drains. If your bathtub has been pooling forever, you probably have a gnarly clog — and you don't have to just deal with your feet getting pruned every time you take a shower. Just stick a snake down there — you might just be able to pull out a wig's worth of hair. Some sweat-wicking bra liners, because gravity might have done its thing on your tatas over the years, and now your underboobs sweat like a cold drink on a hot day. These magical inventions can help with that uncomfortable, moist feeling — and the rashes that come with it. A Baseboard Buddy that'll allow you to clean those little dust-magnets *without* hurting your back and your knees. The handy, flexible design makes it so you can clean baseboards and crown moulding without bending or straining. Plus, the dusting pads are reusable and machine washable. Some Catrice "Instant Awake" under-eye brightener because sometimes, as we get older, we just can't seem to get enough sleep. This can help conceal dark circles with a more natural finish than a traditional 'color correcting' concealer. It's lightweight, buildable, and formulated with hyaluronic acid and shea butter for a seamless, skin-like finish. And a porcelain butter dish, because nothing says "I'm a functioning adult with my life together" like having a designated container for one of your kitchen's most-loved dairy products. Fake it 'til you make it, right?

Pastor Sees Boycott of Target Stores as New Civil Rights Fight

Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant is midway through a fervent sermon at his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church outside of Atlanta. Thousands of his flock are on their feet in the stadium-sized chapel as he strides back and forth across the stage in a light blue suit, his voice rising and falling. He alternates between conversation and condemnation, shifting between references to Shakespeare and Alcoholics Anonymous. 'Something's gotta break!' He repeats the challenge over and over, admonishing worshipers to break the habits that lead to debt, broken marriages, drugs or drinking. Then he turns to perhaps his biggest battle, an uphill, four-month-old fight to get Black consumers to break their habit of shopping at Target.

36 Space-Saving Products For Small Apartment Living

A set of adjustable mug organizers so you can confidently open your cupboard knowing an avalanche of mugs isn't about to fall on you. They'll not only double your space, but also prevent chips and scratches, too. A magnetic stove shelf on which you can stack your go-to spices, oils, and kitschy salt and pepper shakers. It's also a convenient place to dry out a turkey wishbone if your family is into that tradition. A circular lift-top table if your living room also happens to be your home office and dining room. Plus, the hidden storage keeps your small space nice and clutter-free free, which happens to trick our lil' lizard brains into thinking the room is bigger than it is. Or a sofa tray should you literally not have room for a coffee table! Some Wonder Hangers — point blank, period. They'll ~triple~ your closet space so you can snatch every trending piece you come across on TikTok. A flat outlet plug that can be placed behind furniture so you can utilize every dang outlet in your home. Do you only have a single outlet in your living room, and it happens to be on the only wall that fits your couch? Well, that's no longer a problem!! A foldable nonslip sink cover if you have zeroooo vanity space to work with. This lil' tray gives you a sturdy surface without blocking your faucet, so if you're doing makeup and need to wet your Beautyblender, you don't have to rearrange everything. A self-expanding shower curtain that gives you way more room, prevents dreaded curtain cling, and doesn't require a curved rod! It's so easy to set up, you don't even need rings. A set of two cabinet shelf organizers so you can elevate your mug collection and make room for more, because look, you *will* be buying at least one next time you go to Target. A hanging laundry hamper that takes up zero floor space. Just get it, because let's be real — when you hop in the shower, you throw your clothes in a pile on the bathroom floor and they stay there until you know you have company coming over lol. A slim profile pull-and-rotate cabinet organizer with space for both short and tall pantry items like spices, baking soda, tomato paste — you name it. A baseball hat organizer that'll keep your caps in one central location without taking up much space at all. Even better, the DomeDock will keep them in tip-top shape as you won't accidentally step on them or throw your platform boots on top of them the next time you quickly toss stuff in your closet. A macramé fruit hammock so your bananas, apples, and oranges can enjoy their last days on Earth in comfort and *you* can enjoy your one square foot of counterspace without produce all over the place. An expandable, two-tier organizer, because every time you put a cleaning product back in the cabinet under your kitchen sink, you have approx. one millisecond to slam the door shut before everything tumbles out. With this, you can open the door any dang time you want just to admire how well organized you are. A pair of rustproof shower caddy bathroom shelves if buying new body wash is your favorite form of self-care and you're quickly running out of room for your treasures. A hidden coffee pod tray that mounts right under your cabinet if you're the type of minimalist who likes to keep nothing (and I mean NOTHING) on your counters. Some hanging vacuum bags so your winter coats don't take up your entire closet. They're also waterproof and dustproof, so you don't have to worry about dry cleaning anything when you rotate between seasonal pieces. A shoe cabinet narrow enough to fit in tight mudrooms, entry halls, and foyers. At minimum, it holds six pairs of sneakers, slip-ons, or sandals — that way, they're not strewn all over the floor, ripe for tripping. A cutlery organizer that was smartly designed to save a buttload of space. Sick of fishing around a jam-packed drawer in the search for your favorite fork? Give it a cozy, reliable place to call home. A large over-the-sink rack if you could use some extra room for dish soap, sponges, and all of the cups you finally collected from various household surfaces. A set of drawer organizers that can take your dresser from the chaos that is a TJ Maxx sale section to the enviable order that is The Container Store. 😍 An above-the-outlet shelf where you can tuck away electric toothbrushes, razors, soap, and whatever else won't fit around your sink. A modern pedestal table with *just* enough room for your daily mocha latte. It really is the perfect size because once you're finished, you won't have room to let cups pile up — you'll have to take care of them right away. A height-adjustable solid oak table you can use as a coffee table *and* a dinner table. All it takes is a quick flick of the legs to transform it!! A combined floor lamp and end table if you're 1.) Trying to save space or 2.) Just absolutely enamored (like any sensible adult) with multitasking pieces. A broom/tool organizer because no matter how carefully you tuck your Swiffer/broom/stick vacuum in that gap between your fridge and wall, they never fail to fall over and scare the bejeezus out of you. A bamboo burner cover ready to transform any teensy-tiny kitchen and give you 20 to 30 more inches of counter space! That might not sound like a whole lot, but my fellow NYC dwellers know it's nothing to sneeze at. A three-tier corner shelf you can arrange in whatever fashion fits your space best. That way, you can utilize the extra inches between your countertops and cabinets and give random bits and bobs a place to call home. A compact double-chaise sectional if you're working with limited space but don't want to skimp on leg room. Plus, the ottomans lift up to reveal hidden storage! A C-shaped table you can wheel around wherever is convenient, so you don't have to dedicate any specific floor space to your WFH setup. A floating bedside drawer that gives you a spot to put a drink (cause the last time you put it on the floor, you promptly kicked it over...) and a drawer where you can store your Kindle/TV remote/other things you frequently reach for. A wall-mounted pot hanger where you can suspend your entire collection in plain view. If cabinet space is scarce, this is an easy way to add extra storage. An easel-style TV stand if — space concerns aside — your style is *so* minimalist, you'd actually prefer to keep your living room media-console-less anyways. A set of versatile magnetic hooks, because shoving your oven mitts in your tiniest kitchen drawer has resulted in many fights to free them. Instead, just hang them up on the side of your fridge! A wall-mounted table you can use as a desk, for extra counter space in your kitchen, as a place to fold laundry, or as a dinner table. And once you're done, it folds down, taking up next to no space, so you don't have to shimmy around it all awkwardly. An acrylic bookshelf that basically disappears into your space, only to show off whatever you put on it.
