Sarah Silverman shares answer to burning question about 'White Lotus' Season 3
Comedian Sarah Silverman got all of her burning questions about the recent "White Lotus" season answered directly from the source.
Silverman, 54, appeared on the morning talk show "Live with Kelly and Mark" on May 28 to discuss her career, including her new Netflix comedy special "PostMortem."
The conversation shifted to the Emmy-award-winning HBO series when cohost Kelly Ripa reminded Silverman that she starred alongside "White Lotus" creator Mike White in "School of Rock" back in 2003.
"I love pointing out to people that Ned Schneebly is the guy who writes all of the White Lotuses," Silverman told Ripa and cohost Mark Consuelos.
Despite encouraging words from Ripa and Consuelos about a possible future "White Lotus" cameo appearance, Silverman said she is doubtful White would ever put her in the show, though telling the audience that she would "love" it and that she'd be "amazing."

'White Lotus' creator answers Sarah Silverman's burning question
Silverman said she "loathes" reaching out to White about the show, but she did so anyway.
"I did text him after (Season 3)," Silverman said. "I emailed him and I said, 'What's up with Leslie? How come we didn't find out why Parker Posey iced Leslie Bibb? Why did she pretend not to know her? I go, is it something that you didn't get to, and it got cut out, or like what's the answer?'"
Silverman was referring to an uncomfortable interaction between Victoria Ratliff (Parker Posey) and Kate (Leslie Bibb), who were two hotel guests in the show's third season, People reported.
Kate, who was vacationing with her childhood best friends, insists that she knew Victoria and that they had a mutual friend. Victoria, on vacation with her family, appeared not to be interested in entertaining the discussion further and iced her out, according to People.
The answer to Silverman's question was infinitely less complicated than she had thought.
"No, no," White told her. "I was just showing that she was a (expletive)."

Awkward moment seen in 'White Lotus' Season 3 wasn't that serious
Jason Isaacs, who played Timothy Ratliff, offered a similar explanation, saying in an April 11 episode of the "I've Never Said This Before" podcast that Victoria knew exactly who Kate was but that she did not want to be bothered by a stranger while on holiday.
"They're not used to other people being in their business,' Isaacs said. 'So, the fact that somebody from another table comes and gets in Victoria's face, she just doesn't want to be chatting to people by the pool. She doesn't want other people to be around.'
Despite fan speculation and dissection about the women's hypothetical history, Isaacs insists it wasn't that serious.
"That's all it was," the actor said. 'Just, 'I don't want these trashy people being in my life. I don't really want other people to talk to.'"

PEOPLE can exclusively premiere the first look at Love Island USA season 7, which sees host Ariana Madix return to the Fiji villa along with 10 brand-new singles Huda Mustafa, Olandria Carthen, Belle-A Walker, Yulissa Escobar, Chelley Bissainthe, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Taylor Williams, Austin Shepard, Ace Green and Jeremiah Brown will kick off the new season of the hit Peacock dating show In the first look at the premiere episode, which airs June 3 at 9 p.m. ET, things get juicy between the islanders right off the batThe wait is finally over: Love Island USA is back! Season 7 of the hit Peacock series premieres tonight, June 3, and PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the first look at the Islanders' dramatic first night in the villa. The season will kick off with 10 total Islanders, five guys and five girls. Peacock announced the cast on May 29: Huda Mustafa, Olandria Carthen, Belle-A Walker, Yulissa Escobar and Chelley Bissainthe will be the first five girls in the Fiji villa, and are joined by Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Taylor Williams, Austin Shepard, Ace Green and Jeremiah Brown. In the first look teaser, the ladies are the first to arrive at the villa, and they pop a bottle of bubbly right away to get the good vibes going. Host Ariana Madix is next to arrive, and she asks if the girls are "ready to find your man," but Belle-A makes it clear she wants to "have a little fun too." Nicolas and Ace are the first boys to arrive, followed by cowboy Taylor, and then pool boy Austin and Jeremiah. "This can't be real life," Chelley says as the girls' excitement kicks in. Of course, there's a twist right off the bat. "This year, things are going to be a little bit different," Ariana teases. "Time to let your lips do the talking." Before coupling up, the Islanders get the chance to lock lips with any of the boys they've got their eye on, and some feelings are starting to form already. "I am not trying to be delusional," Olandria says. "But I am liking what I'm seeing so far." The kissing doesn't stop with night one, though. The following day, after five initial couples have been formed, Ariana returns to give the group a "chance to make a play for the person you maybe have a thing for, but haven't kissed yet." As one islander puts it, there's some "freak ass s--- going on" already in the Fiji villa. In the cast announcement released last week, all 10 Islanders shared more about themselves. Jeremiah described himself as an "emotional type of guy," as he admitted, "I really don't care if I cry in front of you." Ace called himself a "short king" who has "no problem talking to taller ladies," but will draw the line at being "little spoon." Pool boy Austin touted how "damn good" he looks "while cleaning a pool," and then came cowboy Taylor, who said he's looking for a "city girl" with a "big booty." Finally, daredevil Nicolas said he's "I'm down for anything" and "huge into extreme sports." As for the girls, Chelley admitted that she is going to judge her fellow Islanders based on their Zodiac signs, and Olandria said that "college football" is her "life." Belle-A was excited to share that she loves working in her family's coffee shop, and Huda declared herself ready to find her "lifelong partner." The final girl, Yulissa, revealed that she just got out of a "nine-year relationship," but she was "glad he broke my heart, because look at me here." Daniella Karagach Compares Robert Irwin to This Previous 'DWTS' Contestant Who 'Won Everyone's Hearts' (Exclusive)
Daniella Karagach has big hopes for Robert Irwin on this season of Dancing with the Stars The pro tells PEOPLE she's "sure he's going to be in the finals," and that he's going to have some major help as people are going to "fall in love with him" She also compares Irwin, 21, to another young celebrity contestant from last season who she says was "America's sweetheart"Robert Irwin is going to steal the people's hearts on Dancing with the Stars this season. At least, that's what Daniella Karagach is predicting. The 21-year-old Aussie, who was the first celebrity contestant confirmed for DWTS season 34, is "very sweet," Karagach tells PEOPLE, so much so that he reminds her of another young sweetheart contestant from last season. "I think he's great. I think he's exactly like Stephen [Nedoroscik]," she says. "He's America's sweetheart. People loved Stephen — he just won everyone's hearts, [he's] so, so kind. And I feel like Robert gives that same energy." Calling Irwin "very family-oriented" and "humble," Karagach, 32, says he's "just a good guy," which is why he reminded her of Nedoroscik, 26. "I think people are going to fall in love with him," she says of Irwin, who she predicts will make it to the championships this season. "He's going to do [well]. I mean, I'm sure he's going to be in the finals," she says. What gives her such faith in the conservationist? "I just feel like personality and popularity plays such a big part, so even if you're not the best dancer, I feel like if you're popular enough and people support you, you'll go really far," she says. Robert is following in his older sister Bindi's footsteps six years later as he joins this season of DWTS. Bindi competed with Derek Hough in 2015 and took home the mirrorball trophy, but Robert told PEOPLE there's "no sibling rivalry" between them. "It's actually really nice. She has just said, 'Go into this and make it your own.' She said it's going to be a completely different experience." "I'm definitely going to be leaning on her a lot, as I have throughout my entire life, to be honest,' he said. 'I think loss brings a family together like nothing else, and for us, for Bindi and myself, we've always had each other's backs through everything, and this is going to be no different. I feel very lucky that I've got her in my corner.' He also recalled cheering his older sister on in the ballroom as a "little 11-year-old kid with my little blonde bowl cut" when she competed a decade ago. 'Now Bindi is going to be there supporting me, and she'll have a lot more dance wisdom than 11-year-old Robert," he said. "I didn't have much to bring to the table, but she does. She's done it. She's won it!" Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Other than Robert, influencer Alix Earle is the only other confirmed celebrity contestant for season 34. Read the original article on People

Arnold Schwarzenegger reacts to son Patrick's 'White Lotus' nudity: 'This is crazy'
Arnold Schwarzenegger reacts to son Patrick's 'White Lotus' nudity: 'This is crazy' Show Caption Hide Caption 'White Lotus' Season 3 trailer: Rich people and death in Thailand The trailer for HBO's "The White Lotus" Season 3 brings viewers to tropical Thailand and death is in the air. For Arnold and Patrick Schwarzenegger, the apple doesn't fall from the tree, especially in the fruit-bearing department. "The White Lotus" star, 31, and his movie icon father, 77, sat down for a candid joint interview on Variety's "Actors on Actors" series, released on June 3, during which they discussed Patrick's bold breakout role as Saxon Ratliff. A party-loving pool cretin, Ratliff is the poster boy for misguided masculinity on the HBO series' third season. "Saxon leads with his penis; quite literally, that's how he walks," said Patrick of his character's carnal confidence in a February interview with USA TODAY. This also included a scene in which the actor performed in full-frontal nudity. "I couldn't believe (it). I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there,'" Arnold told Patrick on "Actors on Actors." "And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. ... What is going on here? This is crazy." Patrick Schwarzenegger interview: 'White Lotus' breakout star on show, dad Arnold Despite his parental shock, Arnold, who's had his fair share of risqué roles, later reflected on the parallel between his and Patrick's daring career moves. "I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in 'Conan (the Barbarian)'andin '(The) Terminator' and in all of those films, so don't complain about it," Arnold said. "It was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps that closely." The former California governor also gave Patrick props on his acting chops: "Your acting surprised the hell out of me. Not that I didn't know that you're good. ... But it was just unbelievable, the kind of stuff that you did in the show." Patrick Schwarzenegger addresses 'frustrating' nepotism claims The father-son duo attended the Los Angeles premiere of "The White Lotus" Season 3 in February, after which Arnold gave his son a cheeky shoutout on social media. "What a show!" Arnold wrote in a Feb. 11 Instagram post. "I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say — the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
