Coolie Day 6 India Box Office Estimates: Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj's movie drops further on Tuesday; Grosses Rs 9.50 crore
Coolie Adds Rs 9.50 Crore Gross In India On 1st Tuesday; Cume Reaches Rs 250 Crore
On its first Tuesday, Coolie ended up putting a single digit number for the first time in its run. The actioner only grossed Rs 9.50 crore, dropping almost 30 percent from an already low Monday. The total of the movie, now is at just a little under Rs 250 crore. With these kind of drops, the movie won't be able to do much more than Rs 300 crore in India. If the film got its desired word of mouth, no number would have really been small enough for it. We could have fancied even Rs 450 crore in India and Rs 700 crore worldwide. Now, the revised global target is to somehow reach Rs 500 crore but that won't be easy, seeing the drops.
The Day Wise India Gross Collections Of Coolie Are As Under
Coolie will still end up as one of the top 5 or top 6 highest grossing Kollywood movies of all time at the worldwide box office. It may always be looked at as a lost opportunity, but that doesn't mean that the movie is not a hit. It is very much a hit if the irrational buy prices are kept on the side.

Coolie box office collection day 6: Rajinikanth's Coolie, one of the biggest films of the year, hit the screens on August 14 and opened to a thunderous response in India despite receiving mixed reviews. It then stayed strong over the weekend, exceeding expectations. The action drama continued its run on August 19 and raked a decent amount despite a drop in collections. Coolie shines on Tuesday despite a drop Rajinikanth is in the limelight because of his latest film Coolie, which has emerged as a money spinner at the box office. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, it earned Rs 9.5 crore (nett) in India on the sixth day. This is lower than the 12 crore it made on August 18. It, however, is still a respectable figure for a weekday. On Monday, Coolie had an overall occupancy of 25.56% in Tamil. The morning shows saw an occupancy of 18.44%. The figure rose to 22.79% in the afternoon. Coolie further picked up steam during the evening (29.88%) and night (31.13%) shows. It witnessed its best occupancy in Chennai (38.50%) and Trichy (38.25%). Coolie, however, was not able to work its charm in Kochi (12.5%) and Trivandrum (6%). Here is the day-wise breakdown for the film: Day 1: Rs 65 crore Day 2: Rs 54.75 crore Day 3: Rs 39.5 crore Day 4: Rs 35.25 crore Day 5: Rs 12 crore Day 6: Rs 9.5 crore The film's total collection stands at Rs 216 crore. Coolie review: How's the word-of-mouth? Coolie received mixed reviews, with critics lauding Rajinikanth's performance but panning the screenplay. Variety stated that the film has its imperfections but works thanks to its 'aesthetic'. 'Coolie is, on its face, a ridiculous, often impenetrable story. However, its aesthetic triumphs outweigh its imperfections, thanks to some of the most dazzling and thematically turbo-charged on-screen bloodshed you're likely to see this year,' read a part of the review. The average word-of-mouth, however, did not affect Coolie too much in the opening weekend as Rajinikanth's star power proved to be enough to helo it shine at the box office. About Coolie Coolie is an action drama directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film centres on Deva, a former coolie, who decides to protect his friend's 'daughter' after his death. The flick stars Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, and Upendra. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director. It is standalone story with no connection to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which includes Kaithi and Vikram. or more news and updates from the world of OTT, and celebrities from Bollywood and Hollywood, keep reading Indiatimes Entertainment.

350 Helicopter Trips Later: Abandoned Island Is Now The World's Most Exclusive Party Spot
Last Updated: A derelict fort on Thorne Island in Wales was transformed into a luxury party venue by an ex-software engineer. It's now up for sale for £3 million after five years of restoration Once a lonely island with nothing more than a crumbling Napoleonic fort, Thorne Island has now been transformed into a lavish party destination reminiscent of a James Bond film, all thanks to the vision and persistence of a former software engineer, Mike Connor. A Bold Investment In 2017, Mike spotted the remote island on a YouTube video. At the time, the only structure was a derelict fort once used for military defence. Captivated by its potential, he purchased Thorne Island for just £55,500 (approximately Rs 6.53 crore). Rather than leaving it as a private retreat, Mike set out to completely renovate the site, investing over £2 million (approx. Rs 23.52 crore) to revive the structure. Now, after five years of dedication and transformation, the island is back on the market, this time for £3 million (around Rs 35.25 crore). A Five-Year Labour Of Love Transforming the crumbling fortress into a high-end private venue took five years, during which Mike poured in both time and money. The island, once deserted and fortified, is now equipped to host up to 800 guests, offering a 24-hour immersive experience for those seeking total seclusion with luxury. Mike's solution? An impressive 350 helicopter trips in just two days, ferrying everything needed to complete the renovation. Inside The Revamped Fort The fort is now almost unrecognisable. Inside, it features bright and spacious rooms, wood-burning stoves, spiral staircases, mezzanine bedrooms, and modern bathroom facilities. The property includes: An Exclusive Arrival Experience There is no conventional access to Thorne Island. Guests arrive either by boat or helicopter, echoing the mystery and glamour of an Agatha Christie novel or a Bond movie. Once there, they're free to party without neighbours, curfews, or noise restrictions. Up For Sale: A One-Of-A-Kind Opportunity Now listed for £3 million (Rs 35.25 crore), the property has estate agents excited about its unmatched features, location, and potential. A rare blend of history, exclusivity, and modern luxury, Thorne Island stands as a testament to how far vision — and a bit of madness — can go.
