A former X Factor contestant has reportedly parted ways with her spouse of eight years amidst her Glastonbury Festival debut. Lucie Jones and Ethan Boroian are said to have ended their marriage.
The pair, who initially crossed paths during their 2009 X Factor auditions, have apparently decided to separate. Reports suggest that the couple are discreetly navigating through a divorce, with Lucie having unfollowed her husband on social platforms.

Sources indicate that over time, the two have drifted apart. An insider remarked that they were "young when they married" and now Lucie's priorities have shifted.

A source disclosed to The Sun: "She has been busy focusing on pursuing her career on the West End stage and travelling the globe, they're moving on with their lives. Lucie's in a really good place and has already moved on and met someone else and has loved performing at Glastonbury."
They further commented: "Ethan is no longer in showbusiness and their lives were headed in different directions," reports the Mirror.

Lucie's performance at Glastonbury marked her first appearance at the iconic Worthy Farm event. Prior to the festival, she teased "cool surprises" for what she described as a "huge celebration of music and theatre" gearing up for a thrilling three-day stint.
Overjoyed by the invitation to perform, she shared her excitement with the Mirror before her performances, giving a hint of what festival-goers could anticipate from her shows.
She remarked: "When I was there last year, I was like, 'why is there no musical theatre here?' I was just walking around and I was thinking, these people would love a bit of defying gravity.

"I think a lot of people think of musical theatre as like jazz hands and tap dance. But that just isn't the style that I do. It's going to be super upbeat and you're going to know every song. There's a bit of that in musical theatre, of course, but it's a whole world of other stuff as well."

She also hinted at exciting collaborations for her upcoming performances. "There's a couple of friends that I've got that are playing at Glastonbury who, quite possibly will be joining me, or I'll be joining them during their set," she revealed.

"I'm really excited about one or two of them. It's going to be super cool and they're not necessarily musical theatre acts."
Lucie, who once flew the flag for the UK at Eurovision, has since acknowledged how the X Factor dramatically transformed her career. The talent show has been a launchpad for several artists, including Joe McElderry, with whom Lucie remains good friends.
"I'm going to Ibiza tomorrow and I'm going to see Joe McElderry," she disclosed.

Prince Andrew 'summons maids to pick up his used tissues' as he's 'horrible' to staff

Prince Andrew is said to be 'horrible' to staff and even drops used tissues on the floor before summoning maids to pick them up, according to a new book and documentary. Prince Andrew has been accused of regularly mistreating staff members, even going as far as dropping used tissues on the floor and expecting maids to pick them up. These allegations have surfaced according to comments made in a new book. ‌ The explosive revelations about the disgraced Duke of York's behaviour come from Andrew Lownie's new book, The Rise and Fall Of The House of York, which describes Prince Andrew as being "horrible" to his staff. ‌ These claims are further explored in a new Channel 5 documentary, Andrew and Fergie: The Duke and Duchess of Excess, where royal biographer Lownie shares more details, as reported in the Mirror. ‌ " Andrew was particularly horrible to staff; he doesn't seem to see them as normal people," Lownie stated. "He treats them as basically subordinates to be bossed around. I think he's very narcissistic and everything is about him." The author continued: "He'll summon his protection officer to pick up his golf balls after he's teed them down the fairway, he will summon maids from four floors down to open the curtains. He will drop tissues he's used on the floor and expect people to pick that up." The 90-minute documentary, which aired on Saturday, delves into the lives of Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, exploring their relationship, controversial ties to Jeffrey Epstein and luxury lifestyles. The documentary noted: "Andrew has not commented on the new claims about his behaviour towards staff." Andrew withdrew from public engagements in 2019 following the outcry surrounding his association with Epstein after his Newsnight appearance. ‌ He no longer serves as a working royal but has still been seen at family occasions. Earlier this year, he accompanied the King and other senior royals for their annual Easter Sunday worship at St George's Chapel in Windsor. It has previously been claimed that Andrew requested a staff member be relocated because he "disliked a mole on the man's face". Royal writer Tom Quinn made the claim in the Times, stating: "It's true that some royals can display acts of ill temper. "One former servant recalled how Prince Andrew insisted on a member of staff being transferred because he disliked a mole on the man's face." ‌ The author continued: "Speaking of Andrew, that another former servant asked for a man to be 'moved to other duties for wearing a nylon tie.'". Andrew has previously been labelled as "very difficult" to work alongside, with some staff members even reportedly attempting to "avoid" the ex-working royal. ‌ Former royal butler Paul Burrell revealed in the documentary The Palace: What the Royal Servants Saw: "People tried to avoid Prince Andrew because he was very difficult. Prince Andrew was always bombastic, shouty, and always swore, and that's something that you don't expect from a royal." In response to Lownie's explosive new book, pals of Andrew have dismissed the allegations as "inaccurate". A friend confided in the Daily Beast: "It would be totally inaccurate to say they are devastated or heartbroken by the book, or any of this c***. "There are absolutely no new revelations-it's just a rehash of things already said brought together in one place. The family used to wonder when this would ever end; now they know it never will. It's just, the tide comes in and the tide goes out."

Strictly Come Dancing 'cocaine scandal' being investigated by police in new update

The Metropolitan Police has confirmed they are investigating drug related offences following an inquiry into hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing before the series launch Police have said they are investigating drug allegations on Strictly Come Dancing. This weekend, it was reported that the BBC called in the cops after lawyers began an inquiry into the hit dance competition. It followed an inquiry into the show amid claims two of its stars had used cocaine. Strictly has been marred by controversies over the past few years, with the latest coming just weeks before its return to screens. Earlier this month, the BBC enlisted the services of top legal firm Pinsent Masons to investigate recent drug accusations. Former participants, professional dancers and crew members have been invited to speak with solicitors to voice any issues they might have had. Now, the Metropolitan Police have issued a statement to the Mirror as they said: "On Tuesday 12 August, the Metropolitan Police received an allegation about drug-related offences. "Police are assessing the information, and further enquiries are taking place to establish whether there is evidence of a criminal offence being committed. We won't be commenting further at this time.' A source said: 'It's a significant new development in the BBC's recent string of crises that they have now got the police involved in investigating allegations surrounding Strictly. "This is a very dramatic turn of events. Despite all the show and its team have been through over recent months, it's hugely controversial that you've now got Scotland Yard detectives probing Strictly. They added to The Sun: 'This is their biggest prime-time family entertainment show, so it's not a good look for the BBC.' It is believed this is the first time the BBC has been in contact with the police over allegations linked to the show. When approached by the Mirror yesterday, the BBC said they wouldn't comment on any police investigation. A BBC spokesperson said earlier this month: 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further.' Earlier this month, the BBC reportedly enlisted the services of a top legal firm to investigate accusations of cocaine use by two stars, with reports suggesting their substance abuse was an open secret on the show. According to The Sun, one of the allegations involves a Strictly star who allegedly commented on another individual's dilated pupils, hinting at drug intoxication. They said: "Have you seen their pupils... they're off their face". Since then, it was reported that bosses have offered those stars the chance of rehab. It was also claimed there could be random drug tests added to the upcoming tours, which are known to include after-parties. The Mirror has contacted the BBC for comment.

This morning we revealed cops were now involved but did not state the nature and detail of the allegations they were investigating. The corporation had already launched an inquiry into its flagship Saturday night family show amid claims two of its stars had used cocaine. Our latest shock revelation comes as the BBC prepares to launch Strictly's 23rd series next month - after officially announcing the line-up of celebrities including reality TV star Dani Dyer. In relation to the drugs allegations, the BBC said a fortnight ago: 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. 'We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns.
