Neighbours has confirmed the conclusion of Aaron Brennnan's (Matt Wilson) love triangle story.
The Ramsay Street legend has been torn between two men for weeks now, with his friends and family each having their own favourite.
Quite the predicament!
First there was real estate agent Rhett Norman (Liam Maguire), who first caught Aaron's eye when they were training for the charity Boylesque performance at The Waterhole.
Sparks flew, but it became apparent that there was something holding the couple back. Aaron decided that it was too soon after husband David Tanaka's (Takaya Honda) death for him to start dating again, and he called time on their brief romance.
After crossing paths on multiple occasions, and a number of enjoyable dates, Rhett moved on with a new fella.
Enter Colton Keys (Jakob Ambrose), a mysterious newbie that was holidaying in Hamilton Island at the same resort as Aaron.
The two immediately hit it off, but Aaron decided to lead a double life by using a pseudonym and choosing not to disclose his past.
After the two slept together, Colton picked up a wallet off the floor and found a picture of the Brennan-Tanaka clan.
He was furious, and ordered Aaron to keep his distance for the rest of the trip. However, the idea of something more serious was clearly playing on his mind and he moved to Erinsborough to take up a temporary manager's position at the Eirini Rising retirement complex.
Over the last month, Aaron has explored a casual relationship with them both, and almost ruined things when he accused both a newly-single Rhett and Colton of getting with one another!
The atmosphere was frosty (which is unusual for Melbourne), but things soon thawed out. Last week, Rhett dealt a troubling ultimatum.
He had decided that the time had come for Aaron to choose, and hoped that his commitment would lie with him.
As the above video shows, Rhett arrived at No. 24 for his decision. The pair agreed that they were at the same stage in life as single fathers, and they should stop denying the overwhelming connection between them both.
'So this is it!'
After spending the night together, Aaron went to break the bad news to a disappointed Colton. The two parted ways with a kiss, just as Rhett strolled in.
Uh-oh.
In today's instalment, Rhett was unconvinced when Aaron pleads his innocence, and became adamant that they're not on the same page after all. More Trending
Colton could see how much the men clearly cared for one another, and decided to play Cupid. After laying their cards on the table, Aaron and Rhett were finally united – and this could just be their happily ever after.
Metro understands that Matt Wilson will be departing his role after 10 years later in the summer.
Could Aaron and Rhett leave for pastures new together?

Last One Laughing UK season 2 cast announced with one iconic comedian returning

What do you call a TV show where comedians try to make each other laugh? A smash hit for Amazon! Okay, I'll admit that one's not going to win me an Edinburgh Comedy Award, but I'm not here to make you laugh, I'm here to let you know the latest on Last One Laughing. Yes, after months of speculation, Amazon Prime Video has finally announced which comedians will be trying to tease a titter out of their friends and colleagues in Last One Laughing season 2. At the Edinburgh TV festival, it was revealed that next year's all-star line-up includes Alan Carr, Amy Gledhill, David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Romesh Ranganathan, Sam Campbell and Gbemisola Ikumelo. Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty are also back to make sure the comedians stick to the rules and eliminate anyone who dares to let out the slightest snigger. However, what's really interesting is that a fan favourite from the first season is set to return. The reigning LOL UK champion, Bob Mortimer, is back. What's Bob doing in the Last One Laughing house again? Well, he's here to defend his title, of course! The first season of Last One Laughing UK was a mega hit for Amazon when it was released in March this year. The show – which sees ten professional comedians trying to make each other laugh without laughing themselves – broke several records for the streaming service. According to Barb, the first three episodes were watched by more than 6 million people and quickly topped Prime Video's UK top 10 chart, even overtaking megahits like Reacher. Our deputy TV editor shares his thoughts on which comedian is most likely to walk away the winner with some odd footballing/sports metaphor thrown in for fun… Alan Carr – Too big a name, so will be a prime target for the others. I can see him being one of the first out. Bob Mortimer – Sorry, Bob, I don't think you're going to win twice. I'm predicting a mid-table finish for the reigning champ. Romesh Ranganathan – On paper, Romesh seems like he could go all the way, but his high profile means he's going to be a target. Likely out by episodes 5-6. Sam Campbell – A finalist in the making, Sam's turn on Taskmaster proved he's got the deadpan charm to go all the way. Diane Morgan – A dark horse, Diane's very funny and good at keeping herself composed. Another potential finalist. David Mitchell – I predict David will find himself in trouble early doors; he's too well known for his composure, so the other comedians will be gunning for him. If he doesn't crack in eps one to three, expect to see him make it to the final four. Maisie Adam – I could never doubt a fellow Northener. She's going to the final 4, no doubt. Mel Giedroyc – Mel, the majority of the Metro ents desk thinks you're the first one out, and I hate to bow to peer pressure, but they're probably right. Amy Gledhill – A relative newcomer, Amy's won Best Show at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, so you'd be a fool to underestimate her. Gbemisola Ikumelo – They don't give Baftas to just anyone, and the Famalam star is sure to give the other comedians a run for their money. A late finish for sure. It's perhaps unsurprising then that Amazon quickly commissioned a second season, especially when you consider fan reaction. On X, viewers couldn't stop praising Last One Laughing. @danrgardine wrote: 'I wouldn't last 2 minutes on Last One Laughing UK. It's hilarious!!' @alanturnerr agreed, writing: 'Last One laughing UK is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Haven't laughed at TV like this in years.' More Trending @danielinton meanwhile added: 'I am literally crying with laughter.' Last One Laughing is based on a Japanese TV show called Documental, which first landed on Amazon in 2016. Since then, the format has been adapted for multiple countries, including Ireland, Australia, Mexico, and, of course, the UK. Former Strictly Come Dancing boss issues defiant defence of scandal-hit show

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A former Strictly Come Dancing boss has defended the series amid its numerous scandals and ongoing backlash. Moira Ross, a highly experienced executive producer and show runner, has worked on a number of major reality series such as The Voice UK as well as Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer in the US. In 2010, she was responsible for relaunching Strictly on the BBC, reigniting the show's popularity to its highest ever viewing figures and seeing it go on to become a multi-award winner. However, speaking ahead of the release of her latest Apple TV project KPOPPED – a competition which pits music icons against K-pop idols – the producer has hit back against rumours that shows such as Strictly could be facing cancellation due to lower viewing figures. In recent years, the BBC series has been plagued by a series of controversies, including when two former professionals, Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima, were removed after behavioural accusations from former partners were revealed. Following that, Welsh opera singer Wynne Evans, 53, was sensationally dumped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour over inappropriate comments. Most recently, police confirmed an investigation into Strictly after claims two of its stars used cocaine. This came after a longtime worker said they were offered drugs by a star on the show. But, asked what she made of claims that the show may not have a future, Moira vehemently argued: 'I think they're all coming from the same place. 'They're all coming from big hearted, wonderful entertainment, and we need that and we're always going to be enjoying that. 'Look how successful Glastonbury is, Strictly is still monumentally successful. 'We love to be entertained, music's a common language. I don't think we're ever going to get sick of huge, wonderful, aspirational entertainment shows. We just want more and more of them.' Moira's latest show KPOPPED sees the likes of the Spice Girls, Boy George, Kesha and Vanilla Ice reimagine their hit songs in collaboration with K-pop stars before they compete in battle performances judged by an audience in Seoul. Starring PSY and Megan Thee Stallion, the eight-episode series sees two worlds – the East and West – combine. Asked where the inspiration for the show came from, Moira said: 'The idea was to explore a brand new sort of music genre, a music show that hasn't been attempted before. 'Something aspirational and celebrational, and something that takes us away from those traditional music shows that are quite wonderful, but it's time for it's for a new a new spin on things.' Discussing her hope for viewers, she also added: 'I would like people to find absolute joy in it. 'I'd love them to want to know even more about K pop and take their next holidays in Korea. I'd love that. I'd think, 'We've done something great here.' 'But really, it's just a proper celebration of cultural crossovers. And if we can enjoy that, then we've done our job.' KPOPPED premieres exclusively on Apple TV Plus on Friday August 29. Got a story? Netflix fans ‘already hooked' on new Suranne Jones thriller as all episodes drop

Suranne Jones has stepped into Keir Starmer's shoes as the British Prime Minister in Netflix's new thriller Hostage. The new five-part drama – which dropped on Netflix today ahead of the long weekend – sees the 46-year-old star as PM Abigail Dalton, battling the opposition at the dispatch box in Parliament or in front of the press corps on Downing Street. That is, until her private life is suddenly upended. Abigail's husband Alex (Bashy) is in French Guiana on a Doctors Without Borders project when his group is kidnapped by a masked gang. The ransom request they send to Abigail says she must resign from office by the following day, or they'll start picking off doctors one by one. To make matters worse, this crisis hits just as the French president is visiting London – one she inadvertently slagged off in a hot mic incident. Played by Before Sunrise star Julie Delpy, Vivienne Toussaint has started to drift to the far right and is using the British visit for political point scoring. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The two world leaders are locked in tense negotiations over Channel boat crossings and NHS medication supplies. But there's suddenly more to play for when it emerges that Abigail's husband has been taken on French territory. Then, the kidnappers let Vivienne know they've not only got the PM's hubbie, they're also holding incredibly incriminating dirt on her too (sex scandal-type stuff). There's also, surprisingly, something for the Bridgerton fans. Queen Charlotte's Corey Mylchreest plays Vivienne's step-son, fresh off the back of his Netflix turn in My Oxford Year. If you couldn't already tell, a lot is going on in this twisting and turning political thriller. Ahead of the five-part show's release on Netflix, Suranne spoke to Metro about the comparisons that had been made between Hostage and tense hit thrillers like Bodyguard and 24. 'They're obviously brilliant shows, and people love them,' she said. 'I think that the fast pace of those shows is what we have, the energy. 'But the difference is, there are two female leads and that is the beauty of it. It's unusual to delve over five episodes into two women, so I think that's our USP.' Suranne's co-star Julie added: 'Usually there's one woman and all men around managing her. Here it's like women managing everything else.' More Trending Even though the show has only just dropped, subscribers are already digging into the episodes. Taking to X to share their initial reactions, @uyamajane wrote: 'Just watched the pilot episode of #hostage and I'm hooked already.' @difficultwomanz wrote: 'Devouring Hostage' as @debrapalermo gushed: 'Combining British acting royalty with French acting royalty = brilliant TV!
