There are many Bollywood actresses who are not from India. From Nargis Fakhri to Jacqueline Fernandez, there are many Bollywood divas who, despite being from a different nation, have established themselves in the industry. Today, we will discuss an actress who was once thrown out of a film set because she did not know how to speak Hindi. Yes, you read that right! But destiny played its part, and this actress became one of the hit heroines of Bollywood. Actress Who Was Thrown Out of Movie Sets
The actress we are discussing has shared the screen with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and more. However, do you know that there was a time when no director wanted to cast her because she did not know Hindi? Yes, we are talking about none other than Katrina Kaif.
Katrina Kaif is a British actress. She was born in British Hong Kong and lived in several countries before moving to London, where she spent three years.
In 2003, she made her debut with the film Boom. Katrina was cast as a last-minute replacement for another model, Meghna Reddy.
After her debut movie, Katrina faced many issues, especially related to her Hindi. She also auditioned for the film Saaya, but the director of the movie, Mahesh Bhatt, was not happy with Kat's audition. Due to her non-fluent Hindi, Mahesh sent her out of the set on the first day of the shoot.
After this incident, Katrina decided that she would work on herself and make a name for herself in films. Meanwhile, she met Salman Khan. Then Salman offered her Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, and from there Katrina's journey to becoming a superstar began.
Very few people know that Katrina participated in a beauty contest at the age of just 14 and won it. After this, she modeled for a jewelry brand, and from here her modeling journey started.
