GMA Networka day ago

Bianca Umali's stay as celebrity house guest in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" may be short, but it was enough to capture the hearts of the viewers who grew fond of her.
On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared a photo of her younger self along with a heartfelt message for the PBB fans who showed her love during and after her stint.
Sobra sobra po itong ipinaparamdam ninyo sa akin and I couldn't stop crying.
This is the most that I have ever felt love in my life from the outside world," she added.
According to Bianca, having been an orphan most of her life, she believed the only love she would ever have, truly deserve, and never lose was from her Lola Vicky—a love that made her feel content and whole.
"But now? Oh wow. As I was praying… God gave me the answer. This is what love is. This is a version of the love I thought I would never have… this is the love of my Mommy and my Daddy being showered upon me through all of you and words aren't even enough to express the state I am experiencing. This is surreal. I am over the moon," Bianca said.
She also thanked the viewers for giving their time to listen to their story, and said that she never thought that it is possible to feel a love that is beyond measure.
I never knew I could be loved this much!
Bianca added.
Ending her post, the "Sang'gre" star expressed her love for all the kind praises she received from the netizens.
"From the bottom of my heart, mahal na mahal ko din po kayong lahat! If only I could hug each and every one of you ng mahigpit!
Previously, Bianca said that she entered PBB because of her late mom May, who was a big fan of the reality show. While inside Bahay ni Kuya, she went viral for cleaning the house. Kuya also gave her a name tag of her mom with his signature at the back.
After her PBB stint, Bianca is set to star in "Sang'gre," which will air on GMA Prime beginning on June 16.

Ara Mina explains the reason behind her different screen names

Before Ara Mina became a household name, there was a time when she used four different screen names. Born Hazel Pascual Reyes, the award-winning actress shared the reason behind her screen name in "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Monday. According to Ara, her screen name was derived from her sister Cristine Reyes' first name and their other sister. And 'yung Ara Mina, 'yon iyong name ni Cristine [which is] Ara Cristine and Mina name ng isa kong sister Mina Princess," Ara shared, adding that it was her mom who chose that screen name for her. After using the screen name Ara Mina for some time, she changed it to Ara Mina-Reyes for the 1995 movie "Si Mario at Si Goko." "Nilagyan naman ng Mommy ko ng Reyes kasi parang ang dating daw kasi ng Ara Mina is parang first name lang. Parang walang apelyido, parang Ara Mina, Carmina ganoon. So nilagyan niya ng Reyes," she said. The third screen name she used was Dara Mina, and according to Ara it was because of Donna Cruz. The fourth screen name she had was Danica Gomez, which she used at the height of Charlene Gonzales' popularity. Gawin nating Danica. Tapos sikat sila ano Richard Gomez, gawin nating Gomez," she said. Despite using different screen names, people knew her as Ara Mina, which ultimately led her to officially use the name. In 2021, Ara Mina got married to Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) President and CEO Dave Almarinez. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
