Meghan Markle's former friend has slammed her and Prince Harry's decision to turn their backs on the royal family, saying the pair 'had it all' before moving to the US.
TV presenter Lizzie Cundy, who struck up a friendship with the Duchess of Sussex in 2013, branded the duo 'complete failures' who 'blew it' by skipping out on royal festivities.
'They whinge, they moan, they criticize and they are not very grateful. They had it all,' Cundy told GB News.

Cundy, who no longer boasts a friendship with the 'Suits' alum, expressed her frustration about the couple's absence from Saturday's Trooping the Colour ceremony — before it emerged that they weren't invited.
'Watching Trooping the Colour today, I get the sense they really missed out. They really blew it,' she said of the pair. 'The only thing they are good at is spending money.'

As for her ill-fated friendship with the As Ever founder, Cundy said that Markle severed ties after she met the 'Spare' author in 2016.
'I was a dating service for Meghan Markle and she ghosted me,' Cundy said, suggesting that she had previously assisted Markle in her romantic life.

'She didn't answer me back when she got with Prince Harry. I didn't work for her again and I can understand why people are leaving her.'

This marked the third year in a row that the pair had been left out of royal festivities amid their ongoing feud with the Windsor clan.
The last time Markle, 43, and the Invictus Games founder, 40, attended the military parade was when they celebrated the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. But even then, they were forced to watch from a separate balcony alongside other non-working royals.

This year's event was a defining moment for King Charles as he showed up despite dealing with ongoing health issues.
His Majesty sent a message of unity by attending his celebration and standing in front of the British public while still undergoing cancer treatment after revealing his diagnosis in February 2024.

Kate Middleton's Hair Stole the Show at the Royal Family's 2025 Garter Day Celebrations

Kate Middleton looked radiant and glowing while attending Garter Day at Windsor Castle on Monday, and we must acknowledge her stunning hair. Just days after turning heads at Trooping the Colour, the Princess of Wales stepped out with some extended members of the British Royal Family, outfit-repeating in a stunning all-white ensemble with her brunette hair looking longer than ever. More from SheKnows 13 People in Kate Middleton's Inner Circle Middleton's Self-Portrait look consisted of a belted white boucle blazer and a matching white skirt with a lace trim. She paired the look with nude, closed-toe heels and a Sean Barrett hat that sat at an angle on her head. The future queen is never shy about rewearing her outfits and previously stepped out in this particular look back in May at the VE Day concert at Horse Guards Parade. But it's about time we get to the Duchess of Cambridge's hair! Middleton's signature long hair was styled in loose mermaid waves that fell gracefully down her back. Her front sections were pulled back from her face and pinned up under her hair to let her statement pearl earrings have their moment. Since the moment Middleton and Prince William debuted their relationship, the Princess has played it safe and kept her hair the same, but she did debut lighter brown locks earlier this year, introducing some warm honey highlights into her otherwise dark hair. At the June 16 event, Middleton joined Prince William, King Charles, and Queen Camilla to celebrate the Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain. This is the first time she has attended the event since 2023 after undergoing cancer treatment last year. The event holds particular significance for Middleton and her husband as it was there, in 2008, that Middleton made her public debut alongside the future king, three years before they got married. Mariska Hargitay was accidentally left at the scene of the car crash that killed her mother: doc

At age three, a wounded Mariska Hargitay was nearly abandoned at the scene of the car crash that killed her famous mother Jayne Mansfield, a new documentary reveals. In 'My Mom Jayne,' Hargitay's personal project that had its US premiere Friday at Carnegie Hall as part of the Tribeca Film Festival, the 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' star, 61, sheds new light on the tragic night of June 29, 1967. 'I often think about why she didn't just sit in the backseat with us,' Mariska's brother Zoltan Hargitay says of their late mother in the doc. WireImage Mansfield, the 34-year-old Hollywood star of the movie 'Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?,' was traveling from Biloxi, Mississippi, where she had been performing at a club, to New Orleans, Louisiana. Also in the Buick Electra were driver Ronald Harrison, Mansfield's boyfriend and lawyer Samuel Brody and her three children with ex-husband Mickey Hargitay: three-year-old Mariska (then nicknamed Maria), six-year-old Zoltan and eight-year-old Mickey. As they were driving on US Route 90, the Buick slammed into the back of a trailer truck, killing Mansfield, Brody and Stevens. The three young siblings were injured and unconscious. 4 The New York Post's late edition front page the day Jayne Mansfield died. Mariska wasn't in the car with them. The toddler was so small that officers at first didn't see her in the wreckage, and left the site without her. The Emmy Award winner also opens up about her long-held secret: that her biological father is not Mickey Hargitay, but 90-year-old Brazilian-Italian entertainer Nelson Sardelli. 'I just wanted to find out what happened, and sort of what happened is so meaningful,' Mariska said onstage at Carnegie Hall Friday of learning more about her mother's past with Sardelli. 'Was it hard? Yeah. Has it been an incredibly bumpy road? Yes! And guess what? It's f–king glorious now.' 'My Mom Jayne' streams on Max starting June 27.

Jason Isaacs confronted Mel Gibson, called him ‘Rabbi' after ‘unforgivable' antisemitic rant: ‘He's not my friend'

Jason Isaacs, who most recently played the frazzled financier Timothy Ratfliff in 'The White Lotus,' has opened up about his complicated feelings towards Mel Gibson. In an interview with Vulture published Monday, Isaacs, 62, who is Jewish, discussed his relationship with Gibson, 69, who infamously went on an antisemetic rant when he was arrested for drunk driving in 2006. 'He was very charming personally, and he's intelligent and self-deprecating,' said Isaacs, who starred in the 2000 movie 'The Patriot' with the former 'Mad Max' star. 7 'The Patriot' stars Heath Ledger, Mel Gibson and Jason Isaacs during 2000 NATO/Showest Convention at Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. And he said, 'If you come, Mel will.' And I said, 'I don't want to see Mel,'' Isaacs recalled. 'I hadn't seen him since that terrible antisemitic outburst when he got stopped by the police,' Isaacs said, referring to Gibson's 2006 scandal. Isaacs did end up going to the event, and had an exchange with the 'Braveheart' star. 'I went, and Mel was there, and he called 'Jace,' across the room, very friendly. I went, 'Rabbi Gibson, how are we?'' Issacs told Vulture. 7 Mel Gibson attends the premiere of 'Hacksaw Ridge' during the 73rd Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande on September 4, 2016 in Venice, Italy. And he proceeded to unload some very personal things.' Isaacs continued, 'He's not my friend, but — maybe to my eternal shame — I forgave him instantly because he was there making himself vulnerable.' But, Isaacs said he doesn't believe that you can forgive 'everything from everyone.' 'I'm not saying I forgive Mel. I've seen him once a decade for five minutes,' the 'Harry Potter' star clarified. 'We text each other once in a blue moon about something or other.' 7 Jason Isaacs in 'The White Lotus.' Fabio Lovino/HBO The 'OA' star added about Gibson, 'I don't know what to do with the fact that he put a character into 'The Passion of the Christ' which is essentially a Jewish demon that doesn't exist in the gospels.' Isaacs was referring to Gibson's 2004 movie about Jesus, which was criticized as being antisemetic. The film depicts Caiaphas, a first century High Priest of Israel, as the organizer of the plot to kill Jesus. Following the crucifixion in the movie, Caiaphas said in Aramaic, 'His blood [is] on us and on our children,' reinforcing the antisemetic notion that the Jews were responsible. 7 Mel Gibson seen during The Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony honoring Vince Vaughn on August 12, 2024 in Hollywood, California. Getty Images At the time, the Anti Defamation League said, 'we fear the consequences of this film.' Isaacs added about Gibson, 'I have no idea what to do about him. But if he knocked on my door tonight and said, 'Look, my hotel's canceled. Can I stay?' I'd say, 'Yes,' probably.' Following his infamous antisemetic rant at police, Winona Ryder, who is also Jewish, also gave an interview alleging that he called her by an antisemetic slur and made a homophobic remark to her friend. Gibson denied her claim. In 2010, Gibson was also caught on tape saying the n-word, at his then-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva. She also alleged that he was abusive. 7 Mel Gibson, right, directs Jim Caviezel on the set of Gibson's movie 'The Passion of The Christ,' in 2004. AP Grigorieva claimed the actor punched her twice in the head and broke two of her teeth as she held their then-17-month-old daughter, Lucia, during a domestic dispute. In 2011, he pleaded guilty to a charge of misdemeanor battery against Grigorieva, and avoided jail. Instead, he did 36 months of informal probation, community service, a year of domestic violence counseling and paid $570 in fines. Gibson has nine children — seven with his first wife, Australian dental nurse Robyn Moor, who he was married to from 1980 to 2009, one child with Grigorieva, and one child with his current girlfriend, screenwriter Rosalind Ross, who he's been dating since 2014. Since his scandals, Gibson has quietly made his way back into the spotlight. He directed the Oscar-nominated 2016 film 'Hacksaw Ridge,' and recently co-starred in the 'The Continental,' a 2023 TV series spinoff of the John Wick movies.
