A.P. CM to leave for Singapore on July 26 night
The delegation comprises Ministers Nara Lokesh (IT, Electronics & Communications, Real Time Governance, and HRD), P. Narayana (Municipal Administration & Urban Development) and T.G. Bharath (Industries & Commerce and Food Processing), Secretaries Bhaskar Katamneni (ITE&C), N. Yuvaraj (Industries & Commerce) and Kartikeya Misra (CMO), A.P. Capital Region Development Authority Commissioner K. Kannababu, and A.P. Economic Development Board CEO C.M. Saikanth Varma.
On the first day opf the tour, the Chief Minister will attend a South East Asia Telugu Diaspora programme being organised by Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) at the One World International School in Singapore, in which Telugu industrialists, business leaders, investors, and professionals from countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand are expected to participate.
Mr. Naidu will invite the Telugu industrialists and NRIs to take part in the Zero Poverty – P4 initiative, and discussions will be held on enhancing exports from the State.
Focus will be laid on generating employment through skill development programmes. The delegation is scheduled to visit infrastructure and logistics hubs, including ports and sports facilities in Singapore.

Complete mapping of P4 mentors within two days: Collector
District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad has directed his staff to complete the mapping process of P-4 mentors within the next two days. He emphasised that industrialists, volunteers and those conducting other business activities should be identified as mentors, and mapped to the `Bangaru Kutumbalu' (families identified by the government for a support under this P4 programme). As per the preliminary data, at least 2,600 mentors have been identified in the district, and at least 26,000 families have been identified for mapping with mentors under the P4 programme, which is a zero poverty initiative of the State government.

Airbus urged to set up maintenance base in AP
Vijayawada: India's surging air traffic and rising aircraft density across Southeast Asia are creating a robust market for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services, said state minister for ITE&C and HRD, Nara Lokesh. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now During a meeting with Airbus Asia Pacific president Anand Stanley in Singapore, Lokesh urged Airbus to consider Andhra Pradesh as a potential MRO hub. Lokesh said India is the fastest-growing single-country market for Airbus, operating 850 planes flying and an estimated need for 1,750 aircraft in the next 20 years. He observed that Airbus planes account for about 65-70% of commercial aircraft in India, and Andhra Pradesh has the potential to become a dedicated MRO hub for Airbus in South Asia. Lokesh assured that the state govt is ready to establish world-class facilities in line with Singapore standards for operations and maintenance to build a comprehensive MRO ecosystem. Lokesh invited Anand and his team to visit AP to explore investment opportunities. Earlier in the day, Lokesh participated in a round table discussion on "Skills to Competencies, Accelerating Workforce Transformation." He said the state govt is striving to position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for innovation and a leader in workforce transformation. "We are preparing the youth not just for jobs but equipping them with skills necessary for the future," said Lokesh. Expressing the willingness to collaborate with Singapore universities on research, innovation, student exchange, and entrepreneurship, the minister for ITE and HRD said that they are looking forward to collaborating with institutions like Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). P4 initiative: ASR officials lead by example, adopt families
Leading from the front, following the call given by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to come forward to adopt 'Bangaru Kutambalu' as part of P4 (Public, Private, People, Partnership) programme, Alluri Sitharama Raju District Collector, A.S. Dinesh Kumar, Joint Collector, Abhishek Gowda and Sub-Collector of Paderu, Souryaman Patel announced the adoption of several families, promising them both financial and social support. As part of the initiative, Mr. Dinesh Kumar adopted the family of Samba Siva, a agricultural labourer from Inada village of Paderu mandal. Samba Siva's daughter Manasa, was distressed after failing to clear the NEET examination, due to financial constraints. Expressing gratitude, Manasa said, 'P4 is a blessing to my family. I will work hard to clear NEET and serve the society. Once I achieve my goal, I will mentor others.' Speaking on the occasion, Mr Dinesh Kumar said that the main goal of the P4 programme is to uplift families from poverty to prosperity. Details of eligible families are available online, and anyone across the country can adopt them via the portal. Families who have yet to register can do so at their nearest secretariat. Special officers have been appointed for the 'Bangaru Kutumbalu' programme, to assist people. Out of the 352 secretariats in the district, 144 secretariats have identified 92,683 'Bangaru Kutumbalu', comprising of 3,13,041 individuals, he said. He appealed to donors to extend financial and social support to these families. He said: 'The district administration will always be accessible to mentors supporting tribal communities through the P4.' Meanwhile, Joint Collector M. J. Abhishek Gowda also adopted a family from Guttulaputtu and Paderu Sub-Collector Souryaman Patel adopted another family under the same initiative.
