. Both players currently represent Nottinghamshire in the County Championship Division One.
The match ended in a draw, but the duo won hearts with their celebration. The heartwarming moment came after Abbas dismissed Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth for a duck on Day 2, with Kishan taking the catch.
Ishan Kishan scored a breezy 87 on his debut. He has signed a short-term deal with Nottinghamshire to play two County Championship fixtures this season. Kishan replaces Kyle Verreynne, who is away on national duty as South Africa travel to Zimbabwe for a two-Test series later this month.
"I'm feeling very excited to get my first taste of playing county cricket in England, and it will be a great chance to showcase my skills," Kishan said.
"I want to make sure I am the best cricketer I can be, and playing in English conditions will really help me to learn new skills."
Meanwhile, Mohammad Abbas had earlier swapped Hampshire for Nottinghamshire.

However, an amendment to his agreement — pending international clearance — will now see him feature in four additional fixtures across June and July.
'I'm very happy to be staying with Nottinghamshire for more games,' said Abbas. 'I've really enjoyed my time here so far.
'We have started the season really well, so I will be doing everything I can to make sure that carries on for the rest of the summer.'
Former England pacer Stuart Broad on Friday backed Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club's decision to retain Pakistan seamer Mohammad Abbas for all seven of the club's remaining County Championship fixtures in the 2025 season.
"Could be a Championship-winning decision this," Broad wrote on X.

Jasprit Bumrah Out? India's options for 2nd England Test explained

With just days to go before the second Test in Birmingham, the team may face an even tougher challenge, playing without their premier fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. Shashwat Nishant New Delhi India's Test series against England has started with a bitter pill to swallow. After dominating large portions of the Headingley Test, the visitors ended up on the losing side, unable to defend a steep 371-run target. Now, with just days to go before the second Test in Birmingham, the team may face an even tougher challenge, playing without their premier fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. With Bumrah reportedly being rested due to workload management after bowling 44 demanding overs at Headingley, the focus now shifts to who can fill the massive void in India's pace arsenal. Arshdeep Singh is perhaps the most promising candidate to replace Bumrah. While he is yet to make a significant mark in red-ball cricket at the international level, his left-arm angle, combined with his ability to swing the ball both ways, offers a much-needed variation. With overcast English conditions potentially favoring swing, Arshdeep's style could trouble England's aggressive openers, especially early in the innings. Akash Deep has impressed with his ability to maintain a probing line and extract movement off the seam. He may lack the raw pace of Bumrah, but what he brings is discipline, something India sorely missed in Headingley's final innings. With conditions at Edgbaston likely to assist bowlers who stay full and target the stumps, Akash Deep's methodical approach could prove effective. Harshit Rana: Raw pace and bounce If India wants to counter England's Bazball approach with pace and aggression, Harshit Rana could be a bold pick. Although inexperienced, Rana has the ability to generate bounce and bowl quick. His selection would be a gamble, but one that could pay off if the pitch at Edgbaston offers bounce and carry. Can Siraj Lead Without Bumrah? With Bumrah likely out, Mohammed Siraj will be expected to lead the pace attack. However, Siraj's struggles with consistency in England — often relying on back-of-length deliveries, raise concerns. For India to compete, Siraj must adopt a fuller length and mature quickly into a strike bowler and leader, both tactically and mentally. India's selection for the second Test will be as much about form as it is about character. Replacing Bumrah is no easy task, but if one of the young quicks can step up, the series may still tilt India's way. 'Nah, this is just for the cameras': Travis Kelce gets trolled by Mitch Schwartz over TEU coaching

Travis Kelce recently took center stage at a Nashville bar during the Tight End University party (Getty Images) If you ever wondered what Travis Kelce teaches at Tight End University, get ready for a masterclass in chaos plus a perfectly timed roast from a former teammate. While coaching young tight ends at TEU this week, Kelce was out there doing his thing, breaking down footwork, route angles, and separation tricks like a true vet. You could see he was in full-on 'coach mode.' But just as fans were starting to soak in the knowledge, Mitch Schwartz—former Chiefs O-lineman and longtime Kelce teammate, crashed the moment with a comment that instantly became the main event. 'Just run around till you're open' — Mitch Schwartz keeps it hilariously real The viral post showed Kelce demonstrating a drill in front of a crowd of young TEs. He looked intense. Locked in. Determined. The caption? 'I'M STILL STRONG.' But Schwartz wasn't about to let that go unchecked. He replied: 'Nah this is just for the cameras, we all know the real answer is just run around until you find open space and then the ball will be coming at you.' And just like that, the football internet had its meme of the week. It's not the first time someone's joked that Kelce 'freestyles' his routes. Even Mahomes once said he and Kelce have such good chemistry that sometimes the playbook doesn't matter. Mitch Schwartz just turned that into the best off-season roast we didn't know we needed. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Stylish New Mobility Scooters Available for Seniors (Take a Look) Mobility Scooter | Search Ads Search Now Undo Tight End University was built for football IQ but this moment was pure locker room gold TEU, co-founded by Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen, is all about elevating the position. But this moment reminded fans that behind all the drills and technique talk is still that classic NFL banter especially when you've got old teammates watching from the sidelines (or in this case, the comment section). Schwartz and Kelce spent years together in Kansas City, and this exchange shows just how deep that bond runs even when it includes roasting each other in front of the entire internet. Travis Kelce gave a full-on route-running seminar at TEU, but Mitch Schwartz reminded everyone what really makes this duo special: chemistry, chaos, and a whole lot of humor. At the end of the day, Kelce's still elite but if you ask Schwartz? His real strategy is just vibes and open space. And honestly... it works. Also read - 'I'm broke?'
