
Emir of Kuwait, Mansour bin Zayed discuss bilateral relations, cooperation

KUWAIT CITY (WAM)His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, received today at Bayan Palace, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, who is on an official visit to Kuwait.During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Emir of Kuwait, along with his best wishes for the Emir's continued health and happiness, and for Kuwait's ongoing progress and prosperity.In turn, the Emir of Kuwait extended his greetings and well wishes to the UAE President and expressed hopes for ongoing prosperity for the UAE and its citizens.During the meeting, the Emir of Kuwait and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed explored various aspects of cooperation and joint initiatives between the UAE and Kuwait, with a focus on expanding opportunities in developmental and economic sectors.They emphasised that strengthening these areas would serve mutual interests and contribute to the well-being and advancement of both nations, reflecting the deep-rooted fraternal ties between them.The two sides also exchanged views on several regional and international matters of mutual concern. Earlier today, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed arrived in Kuwait, where an official reception ceremony was held in his honour.

The package follows the recent endorsement of an additional community support subsidy of AED250,000 for existing beneficiaries of housing loans, including a reduction of up to 50 per cent in monthly loan instalments, and a wide range of other services and facilities. It brings the total housing benefits delivered to citizens in Abu Dhabi in 2025 to AED11.38 billion.
