All Emmerdale spoilers for next week as much-loved couple ‘reunite'
As his husband reignites the flame with his ex, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is thrown into turmoil when the case into Nate Robinson's (Jurell Carter) death is re-opened, while Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), heartbroken over the state of his marriage to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) finds himself in huge danger with the killer, when he discovers a piece of evidence in his van.
Charity isn't the only Dingle in despair as Cain (Jeff Hordley) continues to suffer in the aftermath of Nate's death and Moira (Natalie J Robb) is faced with the very real possibility that her time at Butler's has come to an end – though Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) finds a reason to smile as her attraction to Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) grows.
Elsewhere, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) continues to spiral in the aftermath of 'Mike's cruel extortion.
When John uses the incident with Harry to fully turn Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) against Robert, he utterly delights in rubbing it in to his love rival sibling.
At his lowest ebb, Robert proceeds to tear his room apart. When Aaron finds Robert completely broken and admits that he's been so distant in an attempt to mask his own complicated feelings toward his ex-husband.
With emotions running high, the two give in to passion…just as John and Victoria come to check on Robert.
Elsewhere, Mack attempts to spend the day with wife Charity and seeks solace in the pub when she seems completely uninterested.
As Ross Barton (Michael Parr) prods Mack about the surrogacy, Mackenzie opens up about it being the anniversary of the loss of his and Charity's baby. When he drunkenly returns home and confronts Charity about his issues with the surrogacy and his disappointment at her seemingly forgetting the importance of the date, she kicks him out.
Also, Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) faces another job rejection, he falls back into working for Ray Walters (Joe Absalom), though supports April when she reveals her desire to return to school to get her GCSE's, while Cain learns that new evidence has come to light regarding Nate's murder.
Nate's death and the mysterious circumstances surrounding it continues to create ripple effects throughout the village. John, unaware of his husbands betrayal, is wracked with anxiety when the police tell Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) that the investigation is being reopened, while Cain and Tracy Robinson's (Amy Walsh) grief is compounded by the fresh questioning.
A guilty Aaron is left in turmoil following his night with his ex, and it's made worse when he realises that Robert believes he's chosen him over John.
When Aaron guiltily suggests to John that they take some time away, he jumps at the opportunity, stopping only to make a particularly sinister phone call.
While Kammy is buoyed by Belle's invitation to another lunch date, he's unaware that Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is pushing Vinny to report him to the police over the assault on Vinny, actually carried out by Mike. Gabby is later disappointed when Vinny tells her that he lost the wedding rings that she chose.
Over at Butler's, Moira's confidence in Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) is shattered when she learns that their contract has fallen through, leaving them both out of pocket.
Moira is left to face the very real possibility that this could put an end to her farming career.
Tracy's suspicion is roused when she establishes that the removal man doesn't recognise Nate.
When the police intervene and he confirms that Owen Michaels (Simon Haines) was the man who paid him, Cain, Tracy and even Robert accept this.
While John is confident that he can put the whole ordeal behind him, he offers Mack a lift, but Mack finds something with the potential to expose John to the entire village.
Vinny's week goes from bad to worse when the police pay him a visit. They ask him about 'Mike' – who also goes by Graham – intending to investigate him for extortion. With his ordeal clearly far from over, Vinny begins to spiral.
When Moira hears that Celia is ready to get out of the farming game, she's left with a plateful of food for thought when Celia advises her to follow suit.
Plans are in motion as Aaron and John prepare to leave the village for a break, while Moira finally makes a decision regarding her future. More Trending
Elsewhere, Gabby's deeply troubled as Vinny continues to display out of character behaviour and recent pressures begin to crack Cain.
Charity is in a sombre mood over how she left things with Mack, following their blow up earlier in the week.
She turns to a sympathetic Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), who tries to ease her anxieties.
Also, Moira hatches a plan…

The Emmerdale moment Robert and Aaron finally reunite in new spoiler video
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video This is the Emmerdale moment where Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) finally reunite. Robert's shock reappearance in the village on the day of Aaron and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth)'s wedding has caused massive drama. From the beginning it was clear that there was a vast amount of unfinished business between him and Aaron, with the two kissing before Aaron ultimately decided to make a commitment to John by marrying him. Since then Robert has become deeply suspicious about his half-brother John and his role in the death of Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter). Viewers know that Robert is very close to uncovering the entire truth – and that this puts him in terrible danger. But in the short term, it's the relationship between Aaron and Robert that takes centre stage once again in upcoming episodes. Ryan Hawley told us that John's scheming leads to Robert being in a very dark place. 'John sets up a situation where Robert's left alone with his nephew Harry,' he revealed. 'John encourages him to be disruptive and to kind of trigger Robert, which he does. Robert loses his temper, and John walks in on it and sees it. He uses it as a thing to gaslight Robert, to make it look like he's he's been aggressive. John adds all that together, and he uses it to paint the picture to basically get rid of Robert.' With John goading Robert that he's lost Aaron and now he'll lose Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) too, Robert goes on a destructive rampage. 'He loses it, just completely has a breakdown and smashes everything in his room,' Ryan said. 'And then Aaron comes in and stops him. He just breaks down in Aaron's arms. And then we cut to the scene downstairs, when they're talking to each other. 'And Robert says it's time for him to go. He needs to move on, he shouldn't have come back. But then Aaron convinces him not to and to stay, and he's been fighting feelings the whole time as well. And we get our first Aaron and Robert love scene.' It's the moment that Robron fans have been waiting for ever since Robert's return, and you can watch it now with our new video clip above. But Ryan explained that, at this point, the pair are not viewing this as anything more permanent. 'It's kind of a take it as it is, just this moment, kind of thing,' he told us. 'They even say to each other, we don't want to think about any of that now, the circumstances that we've got is complicated. It is what it is right now, and then we'll see from there. 'And it kind of leads into the next phase of the story. They just take it for what it is, and it's more kind of a kicking-off point or starting point for the next storyline.' The 'next storyline' he's referring to obviously involves John Sugden, and the first thing that happens is that Aaron and John start making plans to leave the village. Ryan summed up how Robert is feeling in that moment. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? The latest gossip from Emmerdale? Robert came back to the village for Aaron, really, in truth. So yeah, he'd be devastated. It's his reason to come back and to exist.' More Trending This storyline is set to run well into next year and Ryan told us he was 'genuinely excited' for the year ahead. 'I think the show's in a great place at the moment. I think the next year, the story arc that I've been told about, I'm really excited about,' he said. He's also looking forward to the history-making upcoming crossover between Emmerdale and Coronation Street. Emmerdale first look as Aaron and Robert kiss after emotional confession
Emmerdale's Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle have a heartfelt conversation next week leading to teary scenes before passion, amid hopes of a Robron reunion on the ITV soap Two exes give into temptation on Emmerdale next week, and now a first-look clip has revealed the moment ahead of it airing. Aaron Dingle and ex-husband Robert Sugden finally confess their true feelings in an upcoming episode, and one thing leads to another. With a concerned Aaron desperate to help Robert amid his spiralling mental health, he tells his soulmate (let's face it) that he "just needs to get him better". As an emotional Robert shares his fears that he has no one and nothing left, thoughts put in his mind by his evil brother John Sugden, Aaron's confused as to why Robert would think he "didn't want to know". It's then that he admits how he really feels and why he's been so distant, amid his marriage to John. It comes as spoilers confirmed the pair would give into temptation amid hopes from fans that Robron will reunite, ahead of killer John's downfall. In the new video preview we see the aftermath of Robert breaking down and trashing his room. Unable to take anymore he loses control with Aaron forced to intervene, shocked by just how broken Robert is. As the pair head downstairs, a numb Robert is on the sofa as Aaron does his best to comfort him. He's desperate to get him some help, while Robert considers leaving and claims he has nothing left in the village to keep him there. Aaron soon confesses what's really been going on, and how he has deliberately pushed Robert away to avoid temptation. He says: "We both know what will happen if we get too close." As Robert asks if they are both "fighting feelings", Aaron says: "I didn't say that. Right now all that matters is getting you better while you have still got people who care about you." Robert suggests his sister Victoria doesn't want to know him after the incident with Harry, with John telling him as such. Aaron adds: "She loves you. She wants to help you, I wanna help you. Even John does and he knows all about PTSD from the army." As Robert tries to change the topic he makes a jibe about Aaron's cooking, sending them on a brief trip down memory lane. But Robert's soon left sad again, telling Aaron: "Thanks for being here. I'm sure you've got better things to do than sit around with your tragic ex." Aaron replies: "No, not really. I've missed you." As the pair stare for a moment Robert leans in and kisses Aaron, with him soon reciprocating. One thing leads to another - but will they be caught out?
