Chris Cuomo EXPLODES as viewer slaps him with stinging label

Daily Maila day ago

Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo launched into a furious tirade at a viewer who accused him of suffering from 'Trump Derangement Syndrome.'
Responding to comments on his YouTube show, The Chris Cuomo Project, the 54-year-old NewsNation host - who has previously discussed topics like aliens and UFOs - lashed out after one viewer wrote, 'Stick to aliens. Your TDS clouds your political vision.'
'You don't have any political vision, okay?' Cuomo fired back. 'You are the one suffering from myopia. Look that up.'
Myopia, commonly known as nearsightedness, is a refractive error where distant objects appear blurry while close ones are clear.
'You are the one who can't get out of your own way. You have Trump Derangement Syndrome. I don't,' Cuomo continued.
He then claimed to have predicted both of Donald Trump 's presidential wins.
'I called his first win. I called his second win,' he said. 'I don't necessarily like that he's what America is choosing, but I understand it.'
Cuomo went on to insult the commenter directly: 'You don't, because you just see him as giving you this power that your lowly, stupid ass would never have otherwise. I think we can do better than that.'
He added, 'I'm not running for office. I have to be fair. And I don't believe people like you should be judged the same way Trump is. There are a lot of people who are desperate for the right reasons - it's sad, it's unfortunate, and we should do better.
'I'm open to that. I am fair, despite the fact that I have to deal with assholes like you on a regular basis. If this were about my personal life, I might make different choices. But this is what I signed up for, so I will engage you.'
Cuomo wrapped up by clarifying his views on extraterrestrial topics: 'And I don't give a shit about aliens. I don't believe in little green men. I don't believe in alien spacecraft.'
The ex-CNN anchor's diatribe comes just weeks after he revealed that his bromance with his former co-star Don Lemon was just for show and that the pair now loathe one another.
The now-fired duo regularly gushed about each other on-air as Cuomo handed over to Lemon, hosted The Handoff podcast and went on tour together.
But, Cuomo has now said the friendship was never real - telling Patrick Bet-David's Home Team podcast their banter was actually the idea of former CNN boss Jeff Zucker, who had concerns about how Lemon would open his show.
According to Cuomo, Zucker basically told him he had to 'stay over on Lemon's show to help mitigate whatever's going to come out of his mouth.'
Cuomo has previously said that his relationship with Lemon fell apart when he was fired in 2021 over advising his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, as he went through a sexual harassment scandal.
The journalist said Lemon did not have his back and never reached out to him after his CNN termination.
Cuomo has now sniped that Lemon's stature at the network was boosted by his relationship with Zucker.
'Zucker's best friend is Don Lemon's best friend - who's his agent - so, they had a real bond,' Cuomo claimed.
Cuomo, now an anchor on NewsNation, emphasized that there is no love lost when asked whether he would do another podcast with Lemon.

NFL's answer to Fergie is dating a 24-year-old... and America is obsessed

Bill Belichick is the most successful American football coach in history, an all-conquering dynasty-builder with all of the usual personality traits that entails. You do not win six Super Bowls without immense focus and there are countless tales of his obsessive dedication. Work calls on Christmas Day, reducing co-coaches to exhausted husks with his frightening appetite for grafting. He was monosyllabic and taciturn to the point of self-parody in press conferences for the New England Patriots, often making Sir Alex Ferguson look like Ian Holloway. One year The Wall Street Journal tracked the number of times Belichick smiled in a season of media appearances. They counted seven. There was never much glimpse of hinterland, Belichick seemed uninterested in anything beyond football. He left the Patriots in 2023 and loosened up slightly when working as a pundit the following season. In December last year he took a job as head coach of the University of North Carolina (UNC). Along the way there have been some unusual Instagram posts. Here is previously inscrutable Belichick doing yoga, lifting up an acrobatic woman on the beach with his legs. He has been shown petting goats and eating some strawberries arranged to look like a lobster. Most unexpected was the photo of Belichick dressed as a fisherman, casting his rod over a woman in the waves who is wearing a mermaid costume. The woman posting these pictures, who is alongside him in most and presumed responsible for this drastic tonal shift, is girlfriend Jordon Hudson. Their relationship has become a source of fascination in the United States. Hudson is a former competitive cheerleader, thanked in Belichick's new book The Art of Winning as his 'idea mill and creative muse'. Belichick is 73 and Hudson is 24, which is somewhere between irrelevant and inappropriate depending on your point of view. She is increasingly by Belichick's side in his working life, although this goes both ways. Belichick was in the crowd at a Holiday Inn in Portland, Maine, earlier this month when Hudson was a contestant in a beauty pageant. Belichick says Hudson is working for him in an advisory role, giving her view on business, media and the non-football aspects of his life. On LinkedIn she lists among her previous roles chief operating officer for Belichick Productions. There has been some friction about the control she is perceived to exert and insinuations it is outsized. NFL Films planned to create a documentary about Belichick at UNC. Hudson reportedly demanded approval and the project has been shelved. She has applied for trademarks of phrases associated with Belichick, some which are owned by the Patriots. To circumnavigate this the applications were appended with (Bill's Version), like Taylor Swift's re-recorded albums. There were reports that Hudson was barred from 'the football building' at UNC. The university has denied those reports. There was a frosty appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, which is hardly Paxman, more like Sunday Brunch, when Belichick was asked how he met Hudson. Hudson, shown behind the interview zone watching on a monitor interjected. 'We're not talking about this.' NEW: Bill Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson interjects & shuts down a question during the middle of an interview on CBS. This is wild. Hudson reportedly interrupted multiple times. Interviewer to Belichick: "How did you guys meet?" Hudson from across the room:… — Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) April 27, 2025 'Jordon was a constant presence in our interview,' said a sceptical voice-over from interviewer Tony Dokoupil. The public line is they met on a flight in 2021. Hudson has shared a picture of a book Belichick signed for her then, dated and helpfully including a list of his Super Bowl wins. Some more interventionist whispers followed Belichick's appearance on The Pivot podcast last week, co-hosted by former NFL pros Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder. 'His old lady is different,' Crowder said after the interview. 'She lurks. It's weird to know him as Coach Belichick running the entire organisation as GM [general manager], head coach, talent coordinator, all that stuff, and then to see this tiny little 95-pound girl pretty much telling him what to do… he just smiles and nods.' Crowder later apologised, saying: 'I apologise to Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson for my comments. It was wrong to speculate on their personal matters without any basis.' Clark said: 'The narrative that people want to build around her and her control wasn't displayed during our interview,' but admitted: 'Jordon wanted to be represented in a certain way, wanted their relationship to be represented in a certain way.' Dave Portnoy, another in the near-infinite pool of prominent American bro media figures, said: 'I had met Jordon and it was clear that she ran the show. She's the boss woman of this mythical Bill Belichick Enterprises. She's not hiding. Something bad happens, she takes a selfie and she's right back firing emails. She's not taking a step back.' Despite some mildly hysterical theories about Hudson, her actions sound no more sinister than the usual PR manoeuvring, a keenness to control the message tightly. This goes on for all celebrities and perhaps here it is just taking place in a slightly clumsy way. You are not supposed to hear about these machinations second-hand, let alone allow footage of yourself intervening in a TV interview, be recorded, then aired. Yet it is hard to deny the oddness of the situation. This man steered the most successful NFL team of the modern era, straddling the roles of coach and general manager in unprecedented fashion. Now he is seemingly taking cues from a twentysomething with an eye for an Instagram post. In a particularly gruff press conference after a rare humbling to Kansas City Chiefs in 2014, Belichick repeated the answer 'we're on to Cincinnati' [their next game] so frequently it had the trajectory of a Stewart Lee joke. Funny, less funny, boring, then funny again. When his promotional duties for his book are concluded, you sense this is the approach Belichick will fall back upon. UNC's season starts in September and Belichick will surely stand alone again by then, in the fashion gridiron fans have come to understand him. Or maybe he really is winding down, branching out and (partially) lightening up. Bill Parcells, another era-defining NFL coach, retired from head coaching at 65. Eleven years later he foresaw the future for Belichick. 'He's gonna make that transition some day and realise that there is another life out there.' Who could predict that so much of it would take place on social media?

EXCLUSIVE From hanging with 'Jeff Bezos' to hitting rock bottom: Inside the secret life of alleged Aussie fraudster who hit up American high society - and then skipped town

An alleged Aussie fraudster posing as a friend to the rich and famous is accused of emptying the wallets of socialite millionaires in one of America's most refined cities. Timothy Alford, the brother of Sydney socialite Hollie Nasser, left quite an impact on high society in the charming 'Old South' city of Charleston, South Carolina. After an 18-month whirlwind of women, flashing the cash, big wheel deals that never quite made it, and passing around photos of himself with a man who he claimed was Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, Alford left town without even paying the dog groomer. It is only now - after news of a $50million embezzlement investigation by the FBI into Alford, and his connection with the hit Paramount+ drama Fake - that Charleston authorities have been forced to do its own investigation into his time in the city. One man-about-town who Alford befriended told Daily Mail Australia that the alleged con man's behaviour became 'more and more bizarre, and then one day he was gone'. Charleston's experience with the elusive Alford only came to light after an investigative series by Nine Newspapers revealed late last year that the FBI has launched an investigation into fraud allegations against him. The accusations span two countries and involve alleged scams against US multi-millionaires and the ex-wife of a French president. Charleston realtor Matthew Brockbank contacted Daily Mail Australia following an article about Alford's real life connection with the show, Fake. In Fake, the love rat character played by Australian actor David Wenham who preys upon Asher Keddie's character, alludes to how he had allegedly been scammed himself. That alleged scammer was none other than Alford, the big brother of Hollie Nasser. Alford's alleged $6million scam on the romance con man Sean Lander (played in the show by Wenham) escalated to a creepy online threat toward Alford's family. It was just another tangled tale for a family that has repeatedly been at the centre of scandal and intrigue in recent years. But now more information has come to light regarding Alford's alleged exploits in Charleston, a city renowned for its historic charm, luxury hotels, culture and pre-Civil War architecture. Mr Brockbank said that Alford arrived in Charleston in 2020 and left suddenly in 2021. While Alford was awash with cash at first - 'always insisting he would pay and it was always cash' - by the end of his 18 months in the city he had grown 'p***ed off, stressed, angry and asking people to pay'. 'He was always flashing money, like a successful businessman and wannabe high roller. There were always women around,' Mr Brockbank said. 'He showed photos of himself with (Amazon boss) Jeff Bezos and (Mötley Crüe drummer) Tommy Lee to brag and was always talking about wheeling and dealing in Los Angeles and New York. Realtor Matthew Brockbank (left) has some bizarre stories about Alford's time in Charleston, where the Australian was always asking to buy expensive property but never quite coming through with the money Tim Alford is the brother of Hollie Nasser (above) who in 2021 became a central part of Sydney's biggest love scandal when she ran off with her best friend's husband 'He would always pay cash and refuse to let anyone else pay, and then left town owing debts. I had a buddy who lost a bunch of money. With me, all he did was waste a s***load of my time.' On several occasions, Alford asked the real estate agent to set up property deals which never came to fruition. One time he said 'Matthew I'm going to relocate to South Carolina, can you find me land up to $50million for polo ponies, that has a polo field'. But when Mr Brockbank tried to nail Alford down on the financials, the deal - like all his others - did not come together. 'About four times I said "I need to see proof and talk to the financial adviser", but no. I said whatever, he took me to dinner, and I don't hold a grudge, but it's an insane ego boost pretending to buy places. 'And then, suddenly he disappeared.' Mr Brockbank said one of the more bizarre schemes was Alford's alleged bid to buy all the antiques from a private club which had gone bust in Charleston. Mr Brockbank's mother, an antiques expert, spent days going through the wares and putting together 'a really good deal'. 'I said I needed to get the money first ... and he said "I'll get it to you later". He kept on saying "I'll have the money in two days to you".' The money never eventuated, the deal fell through, and the antiques were sold at auction. Then there was the unpaid dog groomer. 'This was even more bizarre. Alford had a beautiful golden retriever and one of his assistants, a young girl, would take it to Carrie, the dog groomer.' Carrie Montgomery operates one of Charleston's most stylish grooming business called The Dog Wash, in the city's historical downtown area. 'The assistant would always pay with her (personal) credit card to Carrie and when she found out the assistant wasn't being paid back, she told the girl "you're not paying me any more". 'Tim absolutely lost his mind at this and then said "it's ridiculous how much you charge" and paid her nothing. 'Next thing he came to me ... and said "we're going to open a dog grooming business". 'Tim told me he would be the investor and that would show Carrie he could run a dog grooming business. He left town right after that.' Mr Brockbank at first believed Alford may have gone to Dubai, but later learnt via his direct Instagram messages that Alford was in South America. 'Hell ... owing money in countries like Colombia and Dubai, they'll straight up chop his head off,' he said.

MobLand – Season 1 Episode 10 Recap, Review & Ending Explained

The Beast In Me Episode 10 of Mobland begins with Kevin surrounded by spatters of blood while he rants to Rusby's dead body about his messy life. He's known about Bella and her connection to Conrad for a while, along with the truth about Eddie's parentage. It's here we get confirmation that his father is Conrad, not Kevin. He's tried hard to keep everything together but it's all become too much for him and something had to give. Who is the mole? Harry shows up and reunites with Kevin, while he brings his guys in to clean the place up and dispose of Rusby's body. They eventually drive down to the dock, where Harry is waiting for O'hara. It turns out she's the real mole of the family. She's been working with Richie for over a year, topped up on fentanyl and whispering secrets to the enemy. Through her answers, Harry realizes she's not the only one giving Richie info, given she never mentioned the situation involving Archie or what went down in Antwerp. Richie does trust her though so Harry uses her to get to him and end this war before it's too late. Harry lets her go and promises to call her, leaving O'hara dumbfounded as she walks away. With Conrad and Maeve in prison, it's coming down to crunch time. One of these families – the Harrigans or the Stevensons – could well be running the entire game when this is all said and done so they need to move quickly. Kevin shows up to see Conrad while he's behind bars and tells him O'hara is their rat. He also goes on to tell Conrad that he's making big changes and is going to reshape the Harrigan name in his own image as head of the family. Conrad scoffs and jokes about, but Kevin is being deadly serious here. Does Eddie learn the truth? At the same time, Maeve speaks to Eddie and encourages him to kill Harry then go after Seraphina. From behind this glass, she has far less influence than before – but her tongue is still razor sharp. When she suggests that she and Eddie be King and Queen, she reveals that Conrad is his real father. Eddie heads back to see Bella next and after cursing his mum out, demands that he be taken seriously and not be lied to anymore. Now, interestingly this chat occurs just after Bella checks the news, where her father is reeling after recordings of his illicit dealings have been made public. Bella apologizes to Eddie for what happened with Conrad but unfortunately, EddIe has heard enough. He chokes her out and almost kills her… until Harry's guys stop him with a swift punch to the gut. What happens to Alice? Meanwhile, Kat phones Seraphina and suggests they broker a deal together and discuss the future. She's interested to hear more, while Alice and Colin close out their deal… with a catch. Colin double-crosses Alice and has his men drug her and take her away, working with Richie and giving him the all-clear to press ahead. It seems like everything has been resolved… but there's a wildcard here. Harry rings O'hara and gives her a plan to follow. It's quite straightforward and involves Richie believing he's in charge when in reality, he's playing right into Kevin and Harry's hands. Does the plan go ahead? Richie's men show up at O'hara's office waiting for Harry… but without Paul O'Donnell. He hangs back and eventually hits the trigger, blowing the office up and all of Richie's men with it. Another group arrive at the safehouse, who are also hit, while the remaining Harrigans rush through the woods. As for Harry and Kevin, they show up at Richie's bar, where Kevin doesn't hesitate, shooting O'hara and then Richie. Harry and Kevin also uncover the recording of the planted evidence from inside Alice's car, which Kevin and Harry can use to get Conrad and Maeve out. They intend to let them hang for a bit first, while Colin shows up with the police at Richie's pub and sees the devastation for himself. Does Harry leave with Kat? Harry shows up to see Kat, who makes him an offer. She wants to take out all the Harrigans in one fell swoop and needs his intel to make that happen. If he doesn't play ball, then Kat will end up an enemy. Harry tells her to go fuck herself and walks away, loyal to the Harrigans until the end. Back at the Harrigan estate, Bella speaks to Kevin about the future. He wants her by his side and she goes on to admit she's known about his nightmares and the ordeal inside the prison for a long time. He talks in his sleep and she's put the pieces together. Bella understands what he's going through, admitting that her father raped her for years as a child, going some way to explain exactly why she wanted to take revenge. Bella promises to be by his side and this heart to heart works well to solidify their ties together. How does Mobland season 1 end? Meanwhile, Harry reunites with Gina and Jan. It's far less warm than the reunion we just saw, as they wind up arguing together about the future and what's been happening. Jan lashes out with the knife and winds up stabbing him right in the chest. Harry shrugs it off and sits down, with the knife still in his chest, joking that she has his full attention now. As for Conrad, he's the big man in campus at the prison and revels in the applause as he looks set to reclaim his empire, bringing this season to an end. The Episode Review So Mobland bows out with a pulsating and satisfying finale, closing out the Richie saga with a lot of action and a clever little plan to take him down. It seemed obvious that O'hara would sell him short and thus, that's what happens here. The episode goes out of its way to try and subvert expected tropes, like the delayed explosion from outside by Paul or the hostage situation where Kevin and Harry simply just shoot and kill them both. There's a lot of foundational work done ready for a potential second season too, with both Seraphina and Kevin vowing to make their move as head of the family. Given what we've seen, I wouldn't be surprised if Seraphina teams up with Kat, setting up a separate faction, while the in-house fighting between Kevin and Conrad looks set to implode the family once more. Harry decides he's loyal until the end and the moment involving Jan and the knife is a clever way of portraying how the only person who can properly hurt Harry is his wife, whom he cares for deeply. Eddie is still a loose cannon though and after nearly killing his mum, could well prove to be a big problem next season. All that being said, this is a solid finale and a great watch overall. Previous Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!
