Taylor Lewan says Donald Trump mocked his
first pitch fail
Former NFL star Taylor Lewan recently shared a hilarious story about President Donald Trump playfully mocking his notoriously bad first pitch at a baseball game. Lewan, whose errant throw went viral, recounted Trump's witty jibe, adding a comical chapter to his post-football life.
Last week, Lewan's first pitch at Busch Stadium for the St. Louis Cardinals grabbed attention, going viral due to its wildly off-target throw. The spectacle quickly spread online, sparking widespread amusement and commentary. At UFC 316, Lewan and Will Compton briefly met Trump. As Trump passed, he shook Compton's hand, then comically focused his humor on Lewan.
Lewan recalled initiating the conversation: "I got, 'Oh, Mr.

President, remember the podcast?'" To which Trump promptly retorted, "'Remember that throw?' And kept going. D.J.T. looked at me, scoffed. He goes, 'You call yourself an American? I thought you were a big, strong man? Looks like you're a little boy. Looks like you're a little boy who can't throw a ball."

Lewan continued, mimicking Trump's gestural emphasis: "And then he went like this. Figuratively, my chest right here, 'You're not good enough.'
And he walked away. Yeah, that's what my life is now, boys. OK? So, while you guys lay your heads on your pillows at night. Remember, at least you're not me, OK, because I'm in hell and there's only one thing I can do – pick up a ball and start throwing."
Lewan sensed the impending disaster even before his pitch left his hand; it sailed woefully off-target, landing dangerously close to the first base on-deck circle. Thankfully, no one was injured, but a visibly mortified Lewan tossed his cap and performed pushups.
His lamentable throw was instantly likened to musician 50 Cent's infamous first pitch years ago, highlighting its widespread awfulness.
"This is the worst day of my athletic career and that includes the Chandler Jones game. I need redemption," Lewan declared on X, referencing a game where Jones remarkably sacked quarterback Ryan Tannehill on five separate occasions.
He later added, "Not gonna dwell on comments about 'keeping my chin up' coming from someone without one. No excuses. We have to be better, and there will be redemption." Lewan earned recognition as a Pro Bowler for three consecutive years, from 2016 through 2018.

NASCAR to revive racing tradition at Joliet's Chicagoland Speedway in July 2026
NASCAR (Image Source: Getty) NASCAR will return to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, within the next couple of weeks during Independence Day weekend. The NASCAR Cup Series will race at the 1.5-mile oval on Sunday, July 5, 2026, after a seven-year absence from the track, followed by the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday, July 4. Things are now getting underway with the ARCA Menards Series on Friday, July 3. From a broad perspective, the revival signals a significant strategic shift, with NASCAR swapping out its downtown Chicago street race that it tried a year ago for a Joliet return that's meant to revive mid-season excitement and serve as a nod to the sport's historic footprint in suburbs outside Chicago. Why NASCAR is returning to Chicagoland Speedway Having sat dormant during the pandemic and well beyond due to new priorities towards urban street racing in Chicago, Chicagoland Speedway last morphed into a NASCAR Cup event in 2019. NASCAR, however, is welcoming a return to its more oval-centric traditions in 2026: a model that aligns better with an efficient business operation, consumer demand, and logistical convenience. An anticipated weekend of racing will find Chicagoland at the center of the action: the ARCA on July 3, the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series on July 4, and the Cup Series headlining on July 5, a perfect marquee weekend for race fans celebrating the birth of their Nation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 15 Most Beautiful Women Ever Today's NYC Undo While NASCAR executives assert that intermediate-length oval tracks. Organizers cited logistical as well as resident feedback factors and other needs for operational flexibility behind the decision to pause the Chicago Street Race, which was scheduled to run from 2023 through 2025. After renegotiations with city officials, the street event will return to downtown Chicago in 2027. At the same time, NASCAR makes another nod toward its evolving footprint and willingness to experiment with new, non-traditional racing venues with a new street-course event in San Diego at Naval Base Coronado joining the 2026 schedule. Mangal Lakshmi fame Naman Shaw on Mumbai Rains: I had to change routes twice due to flooding
Mumbai continues to battle severe waterlogging following nearly three days of relentless rainfall, actor Naman Shaw who currently plays the lead role of Adit Saxena in the TV show Mangal Lakshmi reacted to the weather, giving fans a peek into his struggle during downpour. He shares, "Mumbai's monsoon rains are a mixed bag for me - I love the romance of it, but water logging makes commuting a challenge." He continued, "Yesterday, I had to change routes twice due to flooding. Locals have learned to adapt by leaving early, which helps. Luckily, my place is nearby, so I navigated home without much trouble. However, some colleagues faced a tougher time, with a few having to take shelter in a nearby hotel due to unsafe travel conditions. My thoughts are with the daily wage crew members who commute from far-off areas by train. When trains aren't running, it's tough for them. Thankfully, the production team stepped in to provide food and accommodations on set, which was a huge relief." As not everyone is privileged to escape, Naman seemed concerned about the unprivileged. He added, 'The monsoon rains in Mumbai can be quite unpredictable, and it's not uncommon for people to get stranded due to flooding. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like NRIs Living In Belarus Are Eligible For INR 2 Lakh Monthly Pension.
