Man charged after car speeds through crash scene, narrowly misses cop
Police have charged an 18-year-old man after he allegedly sped through a police roadblock at a fatal crash scene.
Emergency services blocked the road following a head-on collision between a white Mazda 3 and a white Kia Seltos at Ipswich in Queensland at 8.40pm on June 14.
Around 1.40am, the man allegedly drove a black Holden Commodore ute through the roadblock.
Police allege he then continued to drive directly through the crash scene, narrowly missing police officers, before he left the area.
After investigations, police attended a property on Rowland Terrace, Coalfall, on June 15, where they located the Commodore and arrested the man.
He has been charged with driving a motor vehicle without a driver's licence, driving without a licence plate attached and endangering police officer when driving a motor vehicle.
He was remanded in custody on June 17 and is due to face Ipswich Magistrates Court on June 18.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mazda, an 18-year-old man, died at the scene of the fatal crash, and the female driver of the Kia, 24, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

New details have emerged of a violent and chaotic clash between two drivers at a busy Gold Coast intersection, which brought traffic to a standstill and left motorists caught in the crossfire. The roadside punch-up that shocked millions online has ended in a string of traffic fines and police say the investigation isn't over yet. In disturbing footage that has gone viral, the driver of a white Holden Commodore is seen confronting the driver of a silver Volkswagen Amarok, fists flying in broad daylight. At one point, the Commodore driver is heard shouting 'come on', throwing multiple punches. The Volkswagen driver, seemingly trying to escape, executes a dangerous U-turn over the median strip, but circles back moments later, escalating the already tense stand-off. Traffic in all directions came to a halt as onlookers watched the brazen brawl unfold. The video clocked more than four million views on Facebook. Gold Coast Highway Patrol officers confirmed both men have received fines following an official investigation. The 57-year-old Ashmore man behind the wheel of the white Commodore was hit with two infringement notices totalling $1338 and seven demerit points for failing to wear a seatbelt and ignoring a directional arrow on the road. The 52-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Amarok copped a fine of $1031 and lost five demerit points for four separate offences, including careless driving, failing to signal, obstructing another vehicle's path, and not staying within marked lanes. Police said it was still investigating the incident. The fiery altercation has reignited concerns around road rage on Queensland roads, especially as dashcams and smartphones continue to expose jaw-dropping driver behaviour in real-time.

Father of girl killed in South West crash charged over threats to alleged driver, police
A grieving father whose 15-year-old daughter died when the car she was a passenger in crashed in WA's South West has been arrested after allegedly threatening to kill the driver, as well as police. Last week Greg Bragger, 47, told this masthead his world had been shattered following the death of his only child, Caitlyn, in a crash near Logue Brook Dam about 150 kilometres south of Perth. On Tuesday, Bragger faced Perth Magistrates Court after spending the night in custody for allegedly making three separate threats to kill. The court was told Bragger made multiple threats to kill the 16-year-old alleged driver of the Toyota Landcruiser who is believed to have been Caitlyn's boyfriend. He also allegedly made threats to kill police if they got in the way of Bragger killing the boy, the court was told. Prosecutors told the court that Bragger held the 16-year-old responsible, however no charges have been laid over the crash that happened on June 7 on Scarp Road near the intersection with Hoffman Road. At the time, police said the car left the road and rolled several times. Five other teenagers were also in the car with Caitlyn. The driver and a 17-year-old male passenger were taken by St John Ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital with serious injuries. An 18-year-old male passenger and two 16-year-old female passengers were treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
