Travis Kelce Debuts New Bangs at Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp
Travis Kelce is kicking off the 2025 football season with a bang.
The three-time Super Bowl champion arrived at training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the upcoming NFL season sporting a shaggy hairstyle with side-swept bangs, a new look for the tight end.
The team posted a photo July 22 of Travis wearing his jersey and smiling as his waves blew in the wind, complementing his facial hair. The team captioned the X post, "Training Camp Trav," with a bow and arrow emoji, alluding to the 35-year-old's signature touchdown celebration move.
The New Heights podcast host has frequently changed up his hairdo, switching from a buzz cut to a '90s style with extra space long hair on top and buzzed sides and, recently, a slicked-back look.
His hair has even been such a popular point of conversation that his hairstylist, Vince Garcia, has spoken out about their "really great relationship.'
'Throughout the years, he'll come to my barbershop [or] he'll come to my house and get cut,' he told Us Weekly in an interview published April 30. 'He keeps me around to get him ready for an appearance or a TV show. Over the years of doing that consistently with him, it's just like any relationship. The more you see each other, the more you grow personally.'

Back in March, Vince even shared a behind-the-scenes look at one of their sessions.
"Always good catching up with my brother @killatrav," he wrote on Instagram alongside a video of Travis getting his fresh cut. "Glad you running it back next season fam, you def one of the best TE to ever play the game."

Travis' teammate Patrick Mahomes has also discussed his hair, crediting the Happy Gilmore 2 actor's girlfriend Taylor Swift as the inspiration behind Travis' luscious locks.
'I've been trying to get him to grow his hair out," he shared with SiriusXM NFL Radio last August, "and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it.'

Former Buffalo Bills star said no to Dolphins contract offer
The Buffalo Bills traded for cornerback Rasul Douglas back in 2023 ahead of the trade deadline, and he immediately made an impact on their defense. He picked off four passes after joining the Bills. In 2024, he started 15 games for Buffalo. He remains a free agent after going unsigned all offseason. Even though Douglas is no longer a Bill, he seems to still have distain for their division-rivals. Per CBS NFL insider Josina Anderson, Douglas turned down an offer from the Miami Dolphins. "I'm also told free agent cornerback Rasul Douglas didn't move on an offer from the Miami Dolphins Thursday," Anderson posted on X. "Douglas continues to field interest from multiple teams, per league source." The Dolphins traded away Jalen Ramsey and Jonnu Smith, and have developed somewhat of a bad reputation from veteran players over the course of the Mike McDaniel era. The Bills' first contest against the Dolphins will take place in Week 3 on Thursday Night Football. Cardinals training camp: Inside linebacker competition is not what you initially thought
The position battle is not for the 'Mike' spot. It is for the other position where Mack Wilson played last season. The Arizona Cardinals have a number of positions to watch where there is competition for playing time and starting jobs. One position to watch is at inside linebacker, but it isn't the competition many thought it would be. As the Cardinals did not re-sign Kyzir White, who was the "Mike" linebacker the last two season, making defensive calls, someone would have to replace him. Many believed that there would be competition. That is not the case. Mack Wilson, who played the "Will" last season, has been the guy replacing White. The competition is coming at the other linebacker spot, which will have a different starter in this defense for the third consecutive year. In 2023, it was Josh Woods. Last year, it was Wilson. Now it is a battle between free agent addition Akeem Davis-Gather, former 2023 fifth-round pick Owen Pappoe and rookie fourth-round pick Cody Simon. "They're doing a good job right now," said head coach Jonathan Gannon on Friday. "I feel good about all those guys where they're trending right now. The competition um for the different spots is is heavy." Davis-Gaither is getting reps at both linebacker spots and is a veteran in his first year with the team. Pappoe is the most experienced with two full years with the Cardinals under his belt, while Simon is a rookie. Gannon said both positions are "mirrored" mostly, meaning they do a lot of the same things, but the playing time and roles will differ. The Cardinals often go with a big nickel package with only one inside linebacker on the field. Wilson was in that role last year. Now he will presumably play almost every down. Whoever plays alongside will get fewer defensive snaps because of that package. All three have had first-team reps in practice so far. It is a position to watch for plays, playing time and preseason snaps. Jalen Williams responds back to social media haters who call him 'corny'
Growing up a Kobe Bryant fan, Jalen Williams recently paid homage to his basketball hero. Playing an entire playoff run with an injured wrist, the 24-year-old helped lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to their first NBA championship. When you win the Larry O'Brien trophy, you've earned all the bragging rights. Williams has taken advantage of that benefit. He's flexed the championship after being widely questioned on whether he was a good enough second-best player on a title contender. Williams took to social media to share a side-by-side photo of himself and Bryant. Both wore pajamas at the free-throw line to attempt a one-handed shot. The other hand was wrapped in a cast after surgery. As is the case for most social media posts with a social-media-savvy NBA star, there were some criticisms from fan accounts. The buzzword used in Williams' reply was "corny" as he compared himself to Bryant. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has quite a vocal fanbase. That's what happens when you win five rings on the NBA's marquee franchise. The 23-year-old received criticism for being a copycat. Of course, none of it matters in real life. What these anonymous accounts say online rarely reflects Williams' reality. He replied to an Instagram comment to show that. An account said they felt bad that the 24-year-old was flamed on social media for showing love to his favorite player of all time. He's never been shy about his fandom of Bryant since he arrived in the NBA. "tbh the same people calling me corny couldn't hold my water in real life, prolly would ask for a selfie if we was face to face," Williams wrote. That's probably a good way to view it if you're Williams. It comes with the territory of being one of the NBA's best players and recently winning an NBA championship. There will always be a section of fans who villainize him, even if they need to resort to off-court qualities like his personality or how he carries himself online. All you can do is shrug your shoulders and move on. The Thunder have dealt with what every NBA superteam has dealt with since the league was created. The only difference between now and the beginning is that social media platforms allow critics' voices to be louder.
