Barbie Forteza leads fun run on 'Pinoy Big Brother'
Barbie Forteza had a fun and active task for the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' housemates during her time as a houseguest.
As seen in Thursday's episode, the Sparkle star led the PBB Collab Fun Run. The duos had to run 25 laps around the pool. After this, they would get five balls, each amounting to P20,000. The winning duo would give P100,000 to their chosen charity.
The Kapuso Primetime Princess taught the housemates how to stretch before the run. Barbie also ran each lap with all the duos.
Ralph De Leon said, 'It was very contagious how happy she made everyone feel, on how she really tried lifting everyone up.'
Barbie also praised the duos for how they support each other.
After the activity, Barbie said, 'Nakakatuwa dahil naipamahagi ko 'yung hobby ko—na na-e-enjoy kong gawin—sa kanila, na nakapag-bonding kami dahil sa pagtakbo, tapos nakatulong pa kami.'
Kuya congratulated the duos and Barbie for a successful task, and they all received income for their chosen charity.
'Malaking bagay na nagkaroon ng ganitong task, na alam nila na sa chosen foundation nila mapupunta 'yung mga pinagpaguran nila, mga itinakbo nila,' Barbie said.
The actress added that the task also helped the housemates' mindsets to not just compete within themselves, but 'mas malaki ang ibig sabihin ng kanilang pananatili dito.'
Barbie is set to star in the film 'P77' and the series 'Beauty Empire.'

AZ Martinez and River Joseph win task, to donate P100K to cancer treatment charity in honor of their dads
AZ Martinez and her duo River Joseph emerged as the winners of the Charity Task in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," which will allow them to donate P100,000 to their chosen charity: the Cancer Treatment and Support Foundation Inc. As seen in the episode on Friday night, AZ and River won the task after building the highest tower using balls, ball stackers, and a panungkit. Back in the confession room, AZ and River expressed their joy in winning the task and the opportunity to help other people. AZ and River also dedicated their victory to their dads, who they lost to liver cirrhosis and cancer, respectively. "I'm just happy na we were able to do it, I'm just happy that we are a blessing to others, Kuya," said AZ. River, for his part, shared that this is his first time winning a task in "PBB." "I'm happy na it wasn't for me but for something greater. Ito talaga, Kuya, it's an honor for both our dads. I think they were with us and I think they helped us in this task kasi alam nila na andami naming [matutulungan] dahil dito," he said. River then turned emotional when he was asked by Kuya what his dad would feel if he were alive. "I think he'll be proud, Kuya. My dad, sobrang generous niyang tao and lagi kong sinasabi I want to follow in his footsteps. I want to be just like him, siya ang hero ko," he said. "If he were alive today, I'm sure he'd be happy, I'm sure he'd be proud na andami naming matutulungan dahil dito," he added. AZ also said that winning the task is a huge tribute to her dad. According to the Kapuso housemate, her dad would always help other people even when they were at their lowest financially, emotionally, and mentally. "He made sure to help other people and to be a blessing, and that's what I learned not only from my dad but also from my mom. If you're blessed, be a blessing to others. If you're at your lowest, still be a blessing to others," she said. ‘Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila' ends with sacrifice, redemption, mystery
'Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila' bid goodbye to its viewers with a gripping and emotional finale that took fans through an intense rollercoaster of sacrifice, redemption, and new beginnings. The final episode showed Donatella (Jean Garcia) ending the life of her own son Ivan (Martin Del Rosario), cementing her descent into madness and leading to her eventual confinement in a mental hospital, where she was last seen clinging to the belief that Ivan was still alive. Meanwhile, Julio (John Arcilla), the story's antagonist-turned-hero made the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life to protect Lolong (Ruru Madrid). As Lolong hovered between life and death, he had a heartfelt, dreamlike encounter with Julio, where the latter asked for forgiveness. Lolong was briefly pronounced dead, leaving his loved ones devastated. But in true heroic fashion, he miraculously returned to life, gripping Elsie's (Shaira Diaz) hand as his eyes glowed a striking green. The show did not end on just heavy emotions. The mood lightened with a joyful celebration for Butchoy and Mimay's birthday party, where Ayana (Rabiya Mateo) surprised everyone by showing up with cake and joining the festivities. However, it seems like the story does not simply end there. In a quiet yet symbolic scene, Lolong and Elsie introduced Butchoy and Mimay to Dakila, the enormous crocodile who has become both protector and friend. Initially frightened, the children quickly warmed up to the creature after learning he only eats fish, not humans. Watching over Baby Julia at home was Lola Grasya (Tessie Tomas), who briefly turned to grab the baby's milk beside her. When she looked back, she was stunned to see Julia's eyes glowing gold, a mysterious and unanswered tease that seemingly tells more has yet to be unveiled. The cast of 'Lolong' tuned in together on the season finale with a viewing party. In Lhar Santiago's report in '24 Oras,' Friday, Ruru said that he was taken over by mixed emotions. 'Siyempre nakakalungkot na hindi na kami araw-araw magkakasama pero masaya at grateful sa kung ano po 'yung nabuo ng samahan ng 'Lolong.' Masaya at grateful dahil lumaban hanggang dulo kaya thank you guys so much. Salamat po sa tiwala na muli pong mabuksan ang mundo po ni Lolong,' he said. —Carby Rose Basina/CDC, GMA Integrated News
