Brianne Howey refreshes her skin while filming for Netflix's Ginny and Georgia with an £18 face mist
Ginny and Georgia series three hit Netflix with a bang last week, and if you've already binge-watched all ten episodes, you're not alone. News that series four has been confirmed broke over the weekend, so we're looking to get our G+G fix in other ways until it's back on our screens.
We've been doing a bit of research into Georgia star Brianne Howey's skincare routine, after spending all of series three gawking in awe at her flawless skin. And while she doesn't post too much herself on Instagram outside of sharing glamorous snaps from premieres, we did come across her whole skincare regime courtesy of Glamour US.
Speaking about filming for Ginny and Georgia, Brianne said: 'There are lots of emotional scenes, so you're taking makeup off, then reapplying. That's where I feel like I have to take the most care of my skin.'
She then goes on to list a host of rather pricey products, including two buys from La Mer, she turns to while filming. However, in amongst the high-end products is an affordable gem that you can shop over here: Caudalie's Beauty Elixir, £18 on LookFantasti c.
"I didn't discover Caudalie until I was in Paris this summer," she explained. "Obsessed. I use it too much. I go through a bottle every two weeks. She smells so good. My girlfriend also swears by it for hangovers."
Tick and tick. Made with 100% natural-origin ingredients, this multitasking mist is basically your skin's new BFF, prepping it before make-up, setting everything in place and giving your complexion a little pick-me-up whenever it needs it – ideal for Brianne to mist in-between scenes. The formula is as soothing as it sounds: a refreshing burst of moisture that instantly smooths, soothes and plumps, leaving you with a soft, dewy luminosity. It's no wonder this little green bottle is beloved by A-list make-up artists and celebrities alike, including Margot Robbie and Victoria Beckham.
It packs a glow-boosting trio of green grape, orange blossom and a medley of nourishing plant oils, all working together to deliver antioxidant goodness and a rosy, radiant finish. And while it's handy if you're on film, it's equally as useful if you're mid-commute, on a plane, post-workout or heading to dinner from your desk.
There isn't a mention on Caudalie's product page of it being a little-known hangover cure, but we can see where Brianne is coming from. The mist gives a temporary pore-tightening and toning effect– kind of like a cold compress with attitude. The minty, herbal scent and fine mist are also very invigorating. It's like splashing your face with a fancy herbal iced tea. Since the smell of mint is also known to relieve nausea, it's very likely the scent of the mist also helps with that.
While the Caudalie Elixir is well worth the £18 for 30ml, if you're looking for a lower cost alternative to try out before you commit, you can get a bottle of Pixie's Glow Mist for £7.99 on TK Maxx at the moment – perfect for the upcoming muggy weather.

Sophie Habboo opens up on husband Jamie's reaction after 'pregnant' comment

Sophie Habboo shared a hilarious story about the time she told Jamie Laing she might be pregnant and he 'went green', just months before she announced that she was expecting for the first time Sophie Habboo has revealed the moment Jamie Laing turned "green" after she teased him with a surprise baby revelation, months before the couple discovered they were actually expecting. The pair, who first met on Made In Chelsea before tying the knot two years ago, took to Instagram last Tuesday (June 3) to share the delightful news that they're expecting their first child, receiving a flood of well-wishes from fans and fellow celebs. ‌ In addition to their baby joy, the duo also announced a major change to their popular NewlyWeds podcast, which has now aptly been renamed NearlyParents as they gear up for the new adventure. ‌ However, casting her mind back to the time before the pregnancy was confirmed, Sophie recounted how Jamie was initially apprehensive about fatherhood. She reminisced about his pale-faced response during a meal out last year when she quipped about possibly being pregnant. On their revamped NearlyParents podcast, Jamie probed Sophie for a "totally honest" account of his reaction when she first expressed her desire for children. Sophie revealed: "You went green. You went green. In fact, we went for lunch with my sister and I said just as a joke, maybe I'm pregnant. I was like a day late on my period." ‌ She continued: "We were not trying at this point. We hadn't really discussed it, and Jamie left the restaurant and never came back." Trying to shed light on his past reaction, he admitted feeling "panicked" about becoming a dad, recalling the episode as: "I was having a mild panic. This was like last year and that was a bit... Honey, it was scary for me at that point." He also expressed the fears many feel on the brink of parenthood: "You don't understand how scary it is when you're like going into this world of having, or even thinking about having kids." Yet, speaking of his change of heart, he's now eager to embrace fatherhood, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child in the upcoming months. As for Sophie, she reminisced over the shock of learning she was expecting, after doing a pregnancy test back in December. Jamie meanwhile, shared his overwhelming joy upon her announcing the pregnancy, comparing the elation to their wedding day, stating he felt like he was "floating" when she delivered the wonderful news.

More info Whether you're a royal enthusiast or simply fancy being whisked away into the intrigues of bygone eras, this captivating series seriously has viewers glued to their screens. Victoria is a sumptuous British period drama that showcases Jenna Coleman in the role of Queen Victoria through the tumultuous early stages of her monarchy over the United Kingdom. With three thrilling seasons available since its premiere in 2016, addicts of the programme are likening it to Netflix's internationally acclaimed The Crown. An ecstatic critique on Rotten Tomatoes proclaims: "Just like The Crown covers Queen Elizabeth II's life throughout her reign, this series covers Queen Victoria's. It almost looks like they are twin series full of drama, romance, politics and good historical accuracy." Commencing with Victoria's dramatic ascension to the throne at just 18, the initial season presents a dramatised exploration of her young life, including her fascination with Lord Melbourne and her precocious marriage to Prince Albert. Additionally, it delves into the arrival of her firstborn and successor, Princess Victoria. Progressing through the series, aficionados witness the young monarch's evolution into the formidable sovereign history remembers, as she wrestles with balancing her duties as a wife and mother. Not only does the narrative engross fans in personal turmoil, but it also encapsulates major historical events such as the Anglo-Afghan War calamity and the devastation of the famine in Ireland, reports Surrey Live. A viewer praised the historical drama, saying: "This show is so beautiful! The costumes and sets are designed with no detail left untouched. "The episode where they visit France was my favourite. All the actors are well suited for this show, and I like the balance between the royals and the staff." Portraying notable historical figures on screen often leads to scrutiny, yet viewers appear unanimous in their acclaim for Jenna Coleman's depiction of the 19th-century sovereign. Tom Hughes, starring as Prince Albert, fortified his reputation with this role, while also being recognised for performances in Cemetery Junction, Red Joan, and The English. Praising the cast further, a review comments: "Jenna Coleman is delightful as Queen Victoria, giving her a strong and decided personality, with endearing moments of self-doubt and vulnerability," adding that "The story progresses at an adequate pace; it never feels slow or that it's keeping pace, as period dramas sometimes do. "The supporting cast is wonderful, and Albert was perfectly cast, as the actor beautifully conveys the chemistry and respect he feels for Victoria." After wrapping up three successful runs, the last instalment of the drama graced screens in May 2019, leaving fans thrilled to find the entire series now available on Netflix. ITV previously announced, "There are no plans presently to film Victoria, but that's not to say we won't revisit the series with the production team at a later date."

Megan Moore, a payroll specialist from Southampton who also goes by Meg, is set to star in Love Island 2025. The 25-year-old was going to be in the cast of last year's instalment of the steamy show as a bombshell, but passed the opportunity up after watching the series and realising that "no one was my type". She was approached again to be in the original line-up for 2025, and thought "what have I got to lose?" Meg explained: "I was in a WhatsApp group that was to keep me updated on the show. "I'd tell them who I fancied and would my top three be. "It just got to the point where I felt like I wouldn't really have fitted in or that I would really get on with that person. "They always kept me in the loop and then it just all happened really quickly and I didn't really think about it, I was still living my normal life. "So then obviously it came around again this year, and they said, 'Meg, would you go for it again?' "I said, 'Well, nothing's changed, I've been on no dates, I'm still single, so what have I got to lose?'" Meg is looking for a man who is tall and tanned, with nice eyes and a nice smile. Love rats & machete arrests: Love Island's most DRAMATIC launch ever?! She said her biggest ick is men in flip-flops and bad hygiene. Meg added: "He needs to have a good fashion sense and a really good, funny personality that I can get on with." She's also prepared to bring the drama if someone tries to move in on her man. "I'll probably be in the thick of the drama. I don't cause it, it just comes to me, so... "But at the same time, if you're going to try and steal my man, you're going to get the drama." When is Megan Moore joining Love Island 2025? Meg is a contestant on the show's 12th season, which premiers at 9pm on Monday, June 9, 2025. She is one of the initial batch of Islanders entering the famous villa at the very start of the series, rather than joining cast as a bombshell — as she nearly did in 2024.
