Cindy's EastEnders plan backfires in huge way as she faces the wrath of Walford
Viewers of the BBC One soap have seen Cindy on the warpath over the last week, threatening to report former mother-in-law Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) to the police for attacking her at Christmas.
The only thing that would buy her silence would be if she handed over No. 45 Albert Square, Beale's Eels and the Beale's Plaice chippy.
Neither Kath' or her son Ian (Adam Woodyatt) were prepared to handover their livelihoods and home to the schemer, but she wouldn't let the matter drop.
The situation escalated when Cindy caught Kathy kissing Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), and after recording their dalliance, played the footage in front of everyone in The Queen Vic.
This was just moments after she announced herself to be the new owner of The Prince Albert gay bar, which Kathy had signed over to her under the pretence that she had deleted the incriminating evidence.
But of course, she hadn't.
In tonight's episode, we picked right up from where we left off, as the stunned punters watched on in horror at the video.
Ian claimed that it could have been manipulated by AI – and Harvey's partner Jean, who didn't want to believe what she had just witnessed, was inclined to agree.
As tensions began to rise, Jean rushed off home where she debated her future with Harvey.
Meanwhile, at the Vic's bar, the bell was rung and everyone was ordered to leave. Just the two core families at the heart of EastEnders' festive storyline remained.
Cindy and Kathy both shared slaps with one another, with insults hurled across the room.
Brandishing Cindy just as bad for being unfaithful, Kathy exclaimed: 'You can drop your knickers quicker than I can crack an egg!'

It was then that Cindy decided she would go to the police and report her, saying that she deserves compensation for everything that has happened to her. More Trending
'The only thing you deserve is to be burnt at the stake' chirped Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe).
Despite everything that the clans have been through, they were brought together in their hatred and declared that Kathy was innocent – they have 'no idea' where Cindy's claims have come from…
Peter (Thomas Law) then came downstairs, disgusted at both his mum and grandmother. Having just welcomed a new baby into the world, he has grown sick and tired of the constant friction and wants no more part in it.

While Cindy has gained a new business, and Kathy has gained a new fella – with Harvey falling back onto her arm by the end of the episode – will either of them consider that they've lost in life?

Emmerdale's Ruby 'plots revenge' against two characters amid sad exit news
Emmerdale fans saw Ruby Miligan looking ready to take revenge on Manpreet Sharma and Ross Barton over their rekindled fling following a sad exit on the ITV soap One character looked ready to seek revenge in Emmerdale on Friday night after a betrayal. Just a day after a sad exit on the ITV soap following a discovery, those involved were sparking further outrage. Ross Barton's night of passion with Manpreet Sharma was exposed to his on/off girlfriend Steph Miligan this week. While it happened after Steph had cooled things between them, the fact he lied about it left her unable to trust him. It comes amid Steph actress Georgia Jay taking time away from the show after announcing her pregnancy. Steph left the village on Thursday, with Ross seemingly devastated to have broken her heart. He can't have been that cut up though as on Friday he got steamy with Manpreet yet again on the sofa. This time they were caught though, as the pair were shown locking lips on Manpreet's doorstep. As Moira Dingle looked awkwardly towards her nephew Ross, having just been telling Ruby how upset he was for breaking Steph's heart, Ruby's face was very telling. She looked furious, but also as if she was plotting something as she silently fumed at Manpreet and Ross. She then made her intentions clear, while Emmerdale teased she had a "murderous" look on her face in the awkward moment. Moira asked her what she was gonna do, as Ruby declared she wished she hadn't believed Ross and Manpreet were sorry about Steph. She simply told her, clearly wanting payback: "Only what they deserve." So with ruthless Ruby now seemingly targeting both of them, what does she have planned and will Manpreet and Ross regret their latest moment of passion? Spoilers have teased what Ruby has in store for Manpreet, but it backfires. She ends up snapping and attacks Manpreet after a war of words, with a showdown at the depot. It seems Ruby targets Manpreet before this and leaves her humiliated in scenes that air next week. So when Manpreet heads to the depot to confront her new enemy, things escalate and it's not long before the police are called. Photos show Ruby shoving Manpreet and it seems a fight commences. They end up both being arrested and left in a police cell over night, facing charges of ABH. Left alone to process events, can the pair come to an understanding and put their drama to bed? Or might we be seeing a new village feud forming? Then there's Ross - might Ruby target him too? Stars share memories of Alex Jones as she marks 15 years on The One Show
The Welsh TV star, 48, had mainly worked on children's TV before she joined the BBC weekday chat show in August 2010, which has seen her cover major events including Sport Relief and Eurovision. She has also interviewed a number of Hollywood stars including Robert De Niro, Julianne Moore, Jackie Chan and Sydney Sweeney. There was a surprise for Jones during Friday night's show when she was asked to move to the other side of the sofa to be interviewed by her co-host Roman Kemp and their guest, author and gameshow host Richard Osman. Jones, who usually asks the questions, was put in the hot seat and asked about her 15 years on the BBC One show. The 30-minute special, which included a chat with pop star Olly Murs, included some heartfelt montages looking at some of the celebrities Jones has interviewed over the years, from Dolly Parton to Whoopi Goldberg. A number of famous people including baking star Dame Mary Berry and Welsh actor Michael Sheen shared their memories of Jones. The BBC's director-general, Tim Davie, also made an appearance at the studio to congratulate the TV presenter. Other highlights included a film looking back at Jones's early days in Cardiff and a talk with her old drama tutor and parents. Co-presenter Kemp, 32, said: 'Alex is a national treasure in my opinion and someone I'm so grateful to call my co-host. 'I've learned so much from her since being at The One Show and every day I see first-hand just how much the show and its viewers mean to her. A true great of the BBC and a wonderful human being.' The One Show editor, Joanne Vaughan-Jones, said: 'It's an absolute privilege to celebrate this special milestone with Alex. 'Being live on the sofa night after night, she brings a rare gift – the ability to make everyone feel completely at ease, whether it's the guests on the sofa or the viewers watching from home. 'Her warmth, empathy, quick wit and natural connection with people are what make her such a cherished part of the show.' Jones has worked alongside broadcasters including Vernon Kay, Clara Amfo and Lauren Laverne. She also co-hosted alongside former footballer Jermaine Jenas before he was removed from the presenting team after alleged issues relating to workplace conduct.
