GTA 6 at 60fps? Leaks suggests the PS5 Pro will offer the definitive way to play Rockstar's next-gen epic
According to a popular X (formerly called Twitter) user, Detective Seeds, Rockstar is reportedly working closely with PlayStation engineers to optimise GTA 6 for the PS5 Pro. The game is already running at a stable 60 frames per second (fps) across multiple graphics setups.
Rockstar and PlayStation team up to showcase GTA 6 on Sony hardware
The claims don't stop there. As per Seeds, who is also known for his leaks and predictions, the collaboration is actually a part of a broader marketing partnership between Rockstar and PlayStation. The deal is apparently what's making such deep technical cooperation possible, aiming to highlight GTA 6's complete potential on Sony's hardware.
Seeds wrote, 'As of right now, 60 fps is being achieved on the PS5 Pro only.' It is predicted that GTA 6 will have multiple graphical options on the PS5 Pro on release.

PS5 Pro + GTA 6 bundle promotions
Apart from the collaboration, the X user also hinted at an upcoming PS5 Pro + GTA 6 bundle promotion that is expected to be a part of Sony's next big marketing game.
However, none of this is confirmed officially by either Rockstar or Sony yet. But Sony and Rockstar have always had a pretty solid working relationship. Interestingly, the rumoured technical assistance from PlayStation may go beyond GTA 6.
According to Seeds, Sony engineers are also reportedly involved in other titles of Rockstar Games, potentially working on a next-gen upgrade for Red Dead Redemption 2 and a GTA 4 port. Both projects might be released ahead of a major PS5 Pro update expected in May 2026.

PlayStation Plus reveals August 2025 line-up: Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One's Justice 2
Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games line-up for August 2025, with three titles set to be available to subscribers from 5 August. The selection includes Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One's Justice 2, each offering varied gameplay experiences ranging from survival to arena combat. The additions coincide with ongoing celebrations for PlayStation Plus's 15th anniversary, which also sees a set of commemorative avatars becoming available to members at no extra cost. These avatars feature characters and themes from popular titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal. Inspired by Carlo Collodi's The Adventures of Pinocchio, Lies of P is a Soulslike action game set in a twisted, Belle Époque-era city named Krat. Players step into the role of Pinocchio, navigating a world overtaken by deranged puppets and lost humanity. The game features a range of upgradable Legion Arms and a decision-making mechanic based on lying, which impacts the protagonist's journey towards becoming human. Originally developed as a mod, DayZ has evolved into a standalone multiplayer survival game. Set in a post-apocalyptic environment, players must navigate hostile terrain, scavenge for supplies, and manage threats from both infected individuals and other players. The game includes two maps: Chernarus, its original setting, and Livonia, a newer 163 km² landscape offering alternative challenges. Death in the game is permanent, requiring players to restart from scratch. Based on the popular My Hero Academia anime, My Hero One's Justice 2 is a 3D arena fighter that builds on the mechanics of its predecessor. Featuring a roster of characters from the series, the game centres around using unique Quirks in large-scale battles, appealing to fans of the franchise and fighting game enthusiasts alike. It is noteworthy that players have until 4 August to claim July's titles, Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant, before they are replaced by the new line-up.

Spider-Man Brand New Day: Promo teases Tom Holland's new suit with classic colours and comic-inspired design
Marvel and Sony gave fans a small but exciting taste of what's to come in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' — the next chapter in Tom Holland's Spider-Man journey. On August 1, which also happens to be National Spider-Man Day, a nine-second teaser video was released, offering a close-up glimpse of Holland's brand-new suit. The video was captioned: 'something brand new is coming (sic).' While brief, the teaser has already sparked major buzz among fans. The suit shown in the video appears to be a sleek update of the one glimpsed at the end of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', where Peter Parker was last seen swinging through New York in a new red-and-blue costume. The updated suit features sharper colours, raised black edges, and a faint black spider webbing — all clear nods to the original Marvel comic book design. Fans eager to see Holland in full action will need to wait a bit longer. 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is set to release in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
