GTA 6 at 60fps? Leaks suggests the PS5 Pro will offer the definitive way to play Rockstar's next-gen epic

Grand Theft Auto 6, a.k.a. GTA 6, hype is never-ending. Amid other news, leaks, and rumours, there's a fresh wave of buzz around the game, and this time, it's not the characters or the gameplay; it is how smoothly the game might run on Sony's upcoming PS5 Pro.
According to a popular X (formerly called Twitter) user, Detective Seeds, Rockstar is reportedly working closely with PlayStation engineers to optimise GTA 6 for the PS5 Pro. The game is already running at a stable 60 frames per second (fps) across multiple graphics setups.
Rockstar and PlayStation team up to showcase GTA 6 on Sony hardware
The claims don't stop there. As per Seeds, who is also known for his leaks and predictions, the collaboration is actually a part of a broader marketing partnership between Rockstar and PlayStation. The deal is apparently what's making such deep technical cooperation possible, aiming to highlight GTA 6's complete potential on Sony's hardware.
Seeds wrote, 'As of right now, 60 fps is being achieved on the PS5 Pro only.' It is predicted that GTA 6 will have multiple graphical options on the PS5 Pro on release.
GTA6 has been, and continues to hit 60fps while being optimized for the PS5 Pro on multiple graphical settings. PS engineers are assisting with the optimization due to the new tech being implemented and rolled out with a current target date of May 2026. They are also assisting… https://t.co/IKDPfFZc5S
PS5 Pro + GTA 6 bundle promotions
Apart from the collaboration, the X user also hinted at an upcoming PS5 Pro + GTA 6 bundle promotion that is expected to be a part of Sony's next big marketing game.
However, none of this is confirmed officially by either Rockstar or Sony yet. But Sony and Rockstar have always had a pretty solid working relationship. Interestingly, the rumoured technical assistance from PlayStation may go beyond GTA 6.
According to Seeds, Sony engineers are also reportedly involved in other titles of Rockstar Games, potentially working on a next-gen upgrade for Red Dead Redemption 2 and a GTA 4 port. Both projects might be released ahead of a major PS5 Pro update expected in May 2026.

Zee Entertainment Q1 results: Net profit rises 21.7% to ₹143.7 crore

Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) reported a consolidated net profit increase of 21.7 per cent to Rs 143.7 crore in the April-June quarter, compared to the same quarter last year. This growth was primarily due to the absence of restructuring costs following the failure of the Zee-Sony merger. In Q1FY25, ZEEL had incurred restructuring costs of Rs 28.6 crore after the Zee-Sony merger did not go through. The net profit in Q1FY26 also includes gains from the company's portfolio rationalisation initiative and the treatment of Margo Networks as a discontinued operation. Margo Networks had incurred a loss of Rs 7.6 crore in Q1FY25. On a sequential basis, the company's net profit declined by 23.7 per cent in the April-June quarter. The Mumbai-based broadcaster's revenue from operations decreased by 14.3 per cent to Rs 1,824.8 crore in Q1FY26, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. ZEEL's other income rose by 31.6 per cent to Rs 25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared with the same quarter last year. The company's advertising revenue fell by 17 per cent to Rs 758.5 crore YoY in the April-June quarter. This decline was attributed to an extended sports calendar and a slowdown in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) spending, as per its investor presentation. 'The increase in digital subscription revenue was offset by a decline in linear subscription revenue due to a fall in PayTV subscribers. Other sales and services (down 64 per cent to Rs 84.6 crore YoY) declined due to lower theatrical and syndication revenue,' the company stated in its presentation. Its profit before interest, depreciation, and tax (PBIDT) decreased by 8.8 per cent to Rs 264 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared with the same quarter last year. Meanwhile, the total revenue of ZEE5, the company's streaming platform, increased by 30 per cent to Rs 290 crore in the April-June quarter, on a YoY basis. ZEE5 also saw a Rs 111.9 crore reduction in its EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) in Q1FY26, compared with the same period last year. During this quarter, the platform released 17 shows and movies, including five original productions. 'Accelerating growth, profitability, and cash generation continue to remain our priority, and this will further be driven by the new initiatives we are working on," said Mukund Galgali, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ZEEL, in the company's investor call. He added, 'Within the music business, our profitability continues to remain fairly healthy, and we are further diversifying our catalogue into other language markets.' 'Over the last couple of quarters, the team has put in significant efforts to enhance our content offerings in every market," said Punit Goenka, CEO of ZEEL, during the investor call. "I am pleased to share that we are beginning to witness positive momentum in this direction, with our linear viewership share touching 16.8 per cent in Q1, further fortifying our position as a strong player in the industry. In fact, during the month of June itself, we clocked a viewership share of 17.8 per cent, which is nearly a two-year high.'

Saiyaara: Why Gen Z can't stop loving Ahaan Pandey-Aneet Padda film?

There's been a clear appetite building among the new generation of audiences for a heartfelt, all-consuming love story, and Mohit Suri's Saiyaara seems to have arrived right on cue. It's been a long time since Bollywood delivered a romance of this scale, sincerity, and emotional intensity. What's interesting is that Gen Z has grown up watching films like Rockstar, Tamasha, Laila Majnu, Sanam Teri Kasam, and look at the pattern here: most of these didn't work commercially when they were first released. Why? They were looking for the right audience. They were waiting for the right ears to listen. Turns out, they were waiting for Gen Z. These are the films Gen Z discovered, obsessed over, and grew up with. And now, when most of them got re-released, in the last two years, or found second lives on streaming and in special screenings, they've done brilliantly. Over the years, if you've scrolled through Instagram, chances are you've come across every other reel featuring someone young, fanboying over these films. Which proves the point: there's always been a market for intense love stories that hurt as well as heal. The industry just wasn't tapping into it properly. That's why, in a dark theatre, when audiences saw Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda as Krish and Vaani, they felt for them, deeply. Because they saw themselves in them. Viewers had grown tired of watching the same established stars pair up in film after film, often with little chemistry and performances overshadowed by their own stardom. In contrast, Saiyaara offered something refreshing: two new faces who felt real, vulnerable, and entirely relatable. The kind of people you might actually spot at a coffee shop or an open mic night. This relatability struck a powerful emotional chord. A huge part of that impact was also thanks to the unconventional marketing strategy by Yash Raj Films, specifically by director Mohit Suri and producer Aditya Chopra. The lead pair was intentionally kept away from all promotional activity before the film's release — there were no interviews, no hyperglam photos on Instagram, no 'accidental' sighting by the paparazzi. On the contrary, both Ahaan and Aneet appeared to be on an Insta detox for months at end. Saiyaraa is the most low-key launch of a lead pair since Instagram. Even now, YRF doesn't intend to do a media blitzkrieg with them and their social media is only about the film. #Saiyaaraa a musical journey I never thought i will like this movie but I loved it both actor performance were good but fL performance was in another level ahaan should work on his facial expression songs were good but last song 🔥I got goosebumps theatre experience was very good — Rishi Gupta (@rishig51) July 19, 2025 Also Read | In Saiyaara's final act, Mohit Suri channels the best of Aditya Chopra's brand of romance In fact, Aditya reportedly mentored Ahaan over the past few years, asking him, unlike many other 'nepo-kids' — to seriously focus on his craft and avoid any PR or media exposure. Similarly, Mohit Suri chose Aneet because he wanted a girl who looked simple and unpolished, someone the audience could instantly connect with. He has even spoken about looking for youngsters who have not cosmetically enhanced their faces. And now, with Saiyaara becoming such a breakout success, comparisons are being drawn to earlier iconic debuts, like Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (which launched Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel), and even further back, to Maine Pyaar Kiya and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (which introduced Salman Khan and Aamir Khan respectively). Another factor working in Saiyaara's favour is the return of Mohit Suri, a director whose body of work resonates deeply with the Gen Z audience. His filmography reads like the playlist of a generation: Woh Lamhe, Awarapan, Raaz 2, Murder 2, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Half Girlfriend. While not all of them are loved, they did make him a household name. With Saiyaara, Suri seems to have delivered his most polished, mature, and crowd-pleasing film yet. Shared post on Time And of course, the music. As Karan Johar once said, nothing works better than a well-made heartbreak song, and Saiyaara seems to have taken that to heart. At its core, the film plays like a playlist of soul-stirring songs, all stitched together by an intense, aching love story between the leads. It also brings up an interesting point, watching Saiyaara in a packed theatre reveals just how perfectly it speaks to Gen Z. This is a generation of audiences that lives both in the moment and through their phones, capturing everything for reels, snaps, stories, and posts. It's a strange fixation: to live presently, but also virtually. And Saiyaara gives them the perfect backdrop. From soaring musical moments to gorgeously framed emotional beats, the film offers scene after scene that feels made to be recorded, shared, and remembered. It's almost like being at a concert, your favorite song playing, your phone in hand, and your heart wide open. It's like sitting in a theatre and suddenly remembering why we fell in love with going to the movies in the first place.

This Sarpanch Is Going Viral On Instagram And Panchayat May Be The Reason

A sarpanch's reels are going massively viral on Instagram. Here's why. A sarpanch exhibiting the work he has done for the community has earned him millions of views on Instagram. Ravi Sarpanch, a low-key account on Instagram, regularly shares reels of the development he's brought to a village named Jhanda Khurd Village in Punjab's Sardulgarh. The reels follow a similar pattern, showing before vs after the job is done. From fixing roads to tidying up dirty streets to clearing trash to making a maidan look accessible, Ravi Sarpanch is doing his job right, and it shows in whatever content he has shared with his followers. Sarpanch Sarpanch or Pradhan is the elected head of a village, who runs the local-level governing body called the Gram Panchayat. He or she is tasked with governing the village. They oversee the development of the village, work in tandem with the administration, and ensure community welfare by hearing out and resolving the day-to-day issues that may arise. Panchayat Effect? TVF's blockbuster series Panchayat which recently premiered its fourth season on Amazon, has tugged at the heartstrings of Indian viewers who have found an escape from their chaotic lives and found peace in the quaint and fictional village of Phulera. The show stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, and Chandan Roy in the lead. Panchayat takes you on a journey of everyday issues – small and big – faced by the villagers and the path it takes to solve those problems. Broken roads, electricity cuts, non-allotment of houses under the government scheme, to name a few. Ravi, a sarpanch possibly inspired by the show, uses the Panchayat title track as the background score for all his reels, showcasing the development work he has done for his community in his village. Viral Reels From the looks of it, the Instagram account is run by the Sarpanch's son. Although only a handful of reels showing the village's development exist on the page, the videos have managed to generate millions of views.
