VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to ensure that citizens can access all government services online through the WhatsApp Governance platform 'Mana Mitra', eliminating the need to visit government offices.
Chairing a review meeting on the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) at the Secretariat on Monday, Naidu emphasised the need for seamless digital service delivery and widespread public awareness about Mana Mitra services (WhatsApp Governance).
Naidu urged all government departments to enhance their operations to support this initiative, ensuring citizens face no barriers in accessing services online. He also called for accelerating the completion of the Data Lake project to improve data management.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister advocated for the extensive use of drones to deliver better public services, particularly in mosquito control, instructing the Municipal and Public Health Departments to leverage drone technology.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said the state is taking bold initiatives to lead India's Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution, referring to the state government's pact with tech giant Nvidia. On Friday, the southern state and Nvidia inked an agreement to jointly advance the establishment of a proposed Artificial Intelligence (AI) university in the state and foster a robust ecosystem through skilling, research, infrastructure development, and startup acceleration. "Under the leadership of IT Minister Nara Lokesh, we have entered into an MoU with Nvidia to build a strong and inclusive AI ecosystem in the state," said Naidu in a post on 'X'. With support from Nvidia for curriculum and training, 10,000 engineering students will receive skill training over the next two years, he said, adding that 500 AI startups from the southern state will gain access to Nvidia's 'Inception Program' for global exposure and key resources. Further, plans are underway to establish India's first AI University in collaboration with Nvidia for shaping the infrastructure and research capabilities, said the CM. From education and skilling to research and innovation, this initiative is laying the foundation for a Swarna Andhra Pradesh, Naidu added.

CM Chandrababu Naidu Urges MLAs to Enhance Public Trust in Alliance Government
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu has called upon all MLAs to step up their efforts and improve their performance. During a teleconference on Saturday with TDP members, leaders, and MLAs at the party office in Amaravati, CM Naidu emphasised the importance of earning and maintaining the trust of the public, reminding them that the citizens are closely observing their actions. Highlighting an upcoming event, CM Naidu announced plans to organise a gathering of 2,000 people in Amaravati on June 12 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the NDA government assuming power. He urged that similar programmes be held across Andhra Pradesh, stressing the need to communicate the developmental initiatives undertaken by the NDA government throughout the year. The Chief Minister expressed his awareness of the performance of individual MLAs and stressed the importance of being accessible to the public. He aimed to inform citizens about the prevailing conditions in Andhra Pradesh under the NDA alliance, particularly as the state grapples with a significant financial crisis leading up to June 2024. Reflecting on his experience as a four-time Chief Minister, Naidu remarked that he had never encountered such challenging circumstances. Nonetheless, he is focused on improving the state's financial situation while continuing with welfare and development programmes. He expressed frustration over the disruptive actions of certain individuals, stating that there is a need to take a firm stance against such elements. Naidu also noted the historical context of issues like drug availability, particularly ganja, asserting that significant progress has been made in controlling these problems. He assured a strong crackdown on lawlessness, drug trafficking, and organised crime in the state. On a positive note, the Chief Minister mentioned the success of the recent Mahanadu event and confirmed that the establishment of all committees and state bodies would be finalised by next month. He encouraged party members to actively participate in Yoga Day celebrations, promoting the benefits of yoga for their health and well-being.

Ensure irrigation water to delta regions: Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu to oficials
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to take immediate steps to ensure irrigation water for the Krishna and Godavari Delta regions to support timely Kharif crop cultivation. During a review meeting of the Water Resources Department at the State Secretariat on Friday, Naidu emphasised the need to advance the crop season to avoid cyclone-related losses and ensure crops are harvested before the cyclone season. He stressed three key priorities, which include increasing groundwater levels, filling reservoirs, and optimising water resource management. He urged officials to maintain green cover across agricultural lands year-round by promoting three-crop cycles. Expressing dissatisfaction with non-functional piezometers and AWS sensors used to monitor groundwater, he allocated Rs 30 crore for the immediate procurement of new equipment to enable scientific water auditing.
