Katy Perry Cries on Stage Following Rumored Orlando Bloom Split originally appeared on Parade.
Katy Perry has returned to the stage for the first time since news broke that she split up with her fiancée Orlando Bloom.
The pop star, 40, appeared to fight back tears onstage during the last show of the Australian leg of the Lifetimes World Tour, which took place in Adelaide, Australia on Wednesday, June 30.
In a clip posted on X, Perry looked teary-eyed as she stood onstage towards the end of the show with her arms raised above her head while making a heart shape with her hands.
"Thank you for always being there for me Australia. It means the world," she said while appearing choked up. Perry then composed herself, smiled, and shouted, "Now let's sing Firework!"

Perry's performance comes days after the breakup news broke and Bloom, 48, was spotted attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding alone in Venice, Italy. The couple previously got engaged in 2019 and share 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom.
The duo began dating in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty. They broke up in 2017, but got back together the following year.
According to Us Weekly, Bloom and Perry have "grown apart and aren't living the same lives anymore." Another source added that part of the strain comes from Perry's busy working and touring schedule, as well as the negative reception to Perry's recent endeavors. "Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension," a source told People.
Having wrapped up the Australian leg of the Lifetimes Tour, Perry is scheduled to travel to North America next to perform shows in the United States and Canada this summer. In September, the tour is scheduled to go to South America before the European leg kicks off in October. Perry wraps up her world tour at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.

JAY-Z Shuts Down Paternity Claims, Calls Rymir Satterthwaite's Allegations 'Fabricated'

In newly filed court documents obtained by Us Weekly, JAY-Z is asking a federal judge to step in and shut down a lawsuit filed by 31-year-old Rymir Satterthwaite, who continues to allege that the Hip-Hop mogul is his biological father. Satterthwaite, who filed the latest complaint in May, accuses Jay of knowingly avoiding a paternity test and using his celebrity status to silence him. The lawsuit also alleges fraud, manipulation of the legal system, and a pattern of intimidation — claims JAY-Z's legal team flatly denies. In response, the Roc Nation founder — born Shawn Carter — called the lawsuit the latest chapter in what he describes as a 'decades-long harassment campaign' carried out by Satterthwaite. His lawyers noted that similar allegations have already been 'addressed and rejected' by multiple courts and that continued efforts to push the narrative have resulted in contempt orders. JAY-Z also told the court he only learned of the latest filing on June 3 and requested additional time to formally respond. His legal team claims an attempt to contact Satterthwaite's guardian to coordinate was met with hostility, stating that the phone call ended with her hanging up. Satterthwaite's lawsuit outlines claims that his late mother, Wanda Satterthwaite, had a relationship with JAY-Z in the 1990s. He says the rapper has gone to great lengths to avoid acknowledging his alleged paternity, including allegedly refusing DNA testing and pressuring the courts. Satterthwaite claims the years-long legal battle has caused him emotional distress, public embarrassment, and even health complications. The Philly native also alleges a violent threat against him in the form of a car shooting — an incident he believes was a message intended to silence him. Despite the serious nature of his allegations, he says he's not seeking back child support but rather damages for the toll the situation has taken on his life. The 55-year-old icon has remained largely silent on the matter over the years, though his legal team maintains there is no truth to Satterthwaite's claims. The judge has not yet ruled on the latest filing. More from Who Is Rymir Satterthwaite? Flume Teams With Emma Louise for New Collaborative Album, ‘DUMB'

Grammy-winning Australian electronic musician Flume (a.k.a. Harley Streten) has joined forces with multi-hyphenate artist Emma Louise to craft a new collaborative album, DUMB. The forthcoming record is set for release on Aug. 22, with its release being previewed by way of the first single, 'Easy Goodbye.' 'Growing up undiagnosed neurodivergent, I often felt dumb—struggling at school, forgetting things, silencing myself to fit in. In the studio, whenever we got stuck, Harley and I would laugh and say 'make it dumb' to stop overthinking. It worked every time. 'At first, naming the album DUMB felt irreverent and freeing, but later I realised how deeply it connected to my own fear of being seen as stupid and unworthy,' she continued. 'This album is me reclaiming that word, letting go of shame, and promising myself I'll never abandon my voice again.' Louise first rose to fame in 2011 with her debut single 'Jungle,' which received airplay thanks to Australian radio station triple j's Unearthed platform, which uncovers unsigned talent. That same year, Flume uploaded his first songs to the same platform, with his self-titled 2013 debut winning three of his eight nominations at that year's ARIA Awards – which also saw Louise nominated for best female artist. While Flume would hit No. 8 on the Billboard 200 with 2016's Skin (which also saw him win best dance/electronic album at the 2017 Grammys), the pair would not work together formally until 2022, when Louise appeared on the track 'Hollow' from Flume's Palaces LP. Flume ended a two-year musical hiatus in May, releasing the We Live in a Society EP with JPEGMafia, and is currently working on his fourth studio album. Louise, meanwhile, has not released a full studio album 2018's Lilac Everything, though she has collaborated with the likes of Flight Facilities before her debut single received viral attention on TikTok.
