Emmerdale fans convinced soap has confirmed another death after grave clue

Daily Mirror5 days ago
Emmerdale viewers believe there's another shocking death on the cards for the Dingles, after spotting something about a recent graveside scenes after Nate Robinson's funeral
Fans of Emmerdale fear an autumn or winter death has been confirmed by a worrying scene on the ITV soap.

Just last week we saw Cain Dingle's flashforward scenes from December appear to finally play out. But some inconsistencies within the past and present day scenes left fans convinced a twist was on the cards.

In fact, some viewers now believe Cain's flashforward, initially shown in the New Year episodes, has yet to air after all. It was assumed the scene would be the funeral of his tragic son Nate Robinson, who was killed off in a major twist.

At the time of the flashforward, filmed last winter, we did not know Nate was dead so fans were left guessing whose funeral it was. Nate's body was found a few months ago and his funeral took place last Thursday on the ITV soap.
In the episode we saw Cain at his son's grave, mourning the loss of Nate with Tracy Robinson soon joining Cain. This appeared to be the flashforward finally playing out, looking very similiar.
The only thing is there were some differences including Cain's facial expression, the fact he was wearing a big coat in the first clip and not in the latest one, and even the position of the graves and the flowers there were different. Tracy also didn't feature in the first scene.

Emmerdale 'lets slip' how killer John gets found out - and it'll happen very soon
Now this can all be put down to continuity errors or even the fact that the scenes were filmed in different seasons, and things were being kept secret. The flashforwards would have been filmed around November time, when it was autumn/winter and very cold.
This would explain the coat, and the darker sky and the frost on the trees. We didn't know Nate was dead then too, so they would never have included things like the "daddy" flowers.

The whole scene wouldn't match identically surely too, as the former scene was filmed specifically for the flashforward countdown before the actual scene aired last week. But some fans are convinced that the differences between the scenes prove there's another death and a funeral on the cards.
Wondering if another scene will see Cain mourn later this year, they think there will be another scene of him in a coat mourning someone that isn't Nate. Fans are now speculating Cain's granddaughter Sarah Sugden could sadly pass away amid her recent health battle, while another prediction is the death of Charity Dingle, the mother of Cain's daughter Debbie.
Taking to X, one fan said: "I think it's Sarah's," as another said: "I still think Sarah and I think it will be around Christmas time." A third fan posted: "Not Nate's grave, I think it will be Sarah's."

A further post read: "I'm becoming more and more convinced it's Charity or Sarah's grave." One fan said: "The grave we saw Cain crying over wasn't Nate's. I wonder who it is I'm dying to know now. Unless he goes back to the grave and cries on his own then."
It was the coat that sparked the most concern, with one writing: "He's got a coat on in the flash forward... gonna be a autumn/winter episode." Another agreed: "In the flash forward Cain had a thick coat on when he was stood at the grave like it was cold weather he didn't have a thick coat on at Nate's."
The comments kept on coming with a tweet reading: "The two scenes are different seasons so have a feeling it be towards Christmas that we see this as there frost on the flash forward scene. The one we just saw is in summer." Other fans were sure it was Nate's though, putting the differences down to continuity or the time of year of filming.

Linda's EastEnders return story 'sealed' as she's 'joined by old face'

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) may have only just made a temporary EastEnders departure this week, but there's guaranteed drama ahead upon her return. The former pub landlady handed over the keys to her beloved Queen Vic to Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) on Tuesday, deciding to head on a cruise with her children ahead of a fresh start. After a morning of reflection, she knew that the bad times in the boozer outweighed the good times, and it was the right decision to move on. However, before she could put her troubles to one side, she had to address a looming threat that had just arrived in Albert Square – Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier)! He had no idea that he had another sibling living in the area, as his dad Max (Jake Wood) had fathered Linda's youngest daughter Annie in 2021. And it's not just Oscar who was unaware, as Max has been kept in the dark every since she was the born. Linda knew that she'd have to tell Oscar eventually, and squirmed when he said he would take great joy in watching his dad's face drop. Luckily, after some tough words from his sister Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), he agreed to keep quiet. Jake's return as the notorious womaniser was officially confirmed earlier this month, with Executive Producer Ben Wadey teasing: 'Whilst his character has only been away from Albert Square for four years, Walford, and the lives of those who live in it, have changed immensely. 'Max has a lot of unfinished business, but whether he is welcomed by his family remains to be seen. 'However, with a past as checkered as Max's, it's fair to say that many Walford residents will not be pleased to see him, putting the Brannings back at the heart of the Square, and the drama, this year.' Max's whereabouts are largely unknown. It's been explicitly stated on a number of occasions that both Oscar and Laurenhave been estranged from him for quite some time. He initially departed for New Zealand, and the last we heard of Max, brother Jack (Scott Maslen) had visited him in France. He then fled to Croatia with granddaughter Abi Jr. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? The latest gossip from Emmerdale? We're not privy to the stop offs on Linda's cruise, but it's entirely plausible that she may have a run-in with a face from her past while sailing the seas. More Trending Could Max be enjoying a holiday with Abi Jr, when she makes an unexpected friend – Annie – in the kids club? Imagine the reaction if Linda came back to Walford with Max on her arm! Of course, there's always the chance that he might come back prior to her return, and her whereabouts are kept a closely guarded secret. We do know that Jake has reprised the role briefly, before a permanent stint later in the year. View More » Whatever the outcome, it's bound to be dramatic. This is Walford after all.
